    School is very unorganized with financial aid. Theres no set schedule schools disburse funds whenever theyre ready. Right now, I have not received any funds for summer semester. School has had a technical issue for a full week straight with no ETA on when systems will be back up and running. Theres no backup plan for students to receive financial aid. The only system thats working is ULEARN blackboard for students to complete classwork. If that system works, they can get any other system to work. This school is real fishy when it comes to finances - I always run into issues with the finance team. Theres no organization.

    Due to privacy considerations, the university cannot address the circumstances of this specific student. Insofar as the student is addressing university policy, and not circumstances specific to the student, the university states that its policies are appropriate and compliant with applicable law. The university did have a brief network outage, but it has since been resolved. A final refund was processed subsquent to the network outage.

    I am living in Johnson & Wales University (JWU) housing over the summer for an internship in *********, **. Myself and JWU staff both signed the housing contract on 2/8/24. I paid $4,185.00 via check for housing from June to August and JWU confirmed they received my payment on 4/24/24. On 7/11/24, at around 11 am, the dorm WiFi network went down. As of 7/17/24 at 10:00 AM, WiFi has still not been restored. On 7/16/24, JWU sent a notice via email that their system experienced, in their words, a "security incident" on 7/11/24 and that they are still unable to resolve the network issues. I have sent two emails, both on 7/16/24, to Intern Housing as well as *********************, who was the person who signed the housing contract on behalf of JWU. These emails have demanded a refund for internet charges on the days that **** has been down. I have exhausted my mobile hot spot data and have days in my job where I am required to work from home. JWU's solutions to the problem was to advise we go into our office on hybrid days (not possible for me), use our mobile hotspot (I have already exhausted that), or find a retail space with public WiFi (unsafe for me to conduct business on). JWU has failed to respond to either of my emails. I am not seeking a full refund, but rather just partial refunds for the days where internet was unavailable (currently 7/11/24 through 7/17/24). I have attached to this report communications from JWU, my emails which received no reply, and the contract which states that JWU is obligated to provide WiFi. As of 7/17/24 at 10:34 AM, I have still received no reply to either of my demands for a refund.

    The internet was not working for a brief period, around a week, due to a network issue outside of the universitys control. The contract at issue specifically provides that the university shall not be liable to Summer ******** for any failure to perform or delayed performance of its obligations caused by anything beyond the reasonable control of University. The data security issue that caused the brief lapse in service was such an issue. The university explained this to the complainant already.

I paid you ****** *********************** Material which was not ready and you threw away two of my laptops and ****** ***** Typewriter claiming they were damaged without offering a Refund. Also I made myself perfectly clear that I do not want anything from ***************************** whom is prohibited from using the ******* of *********** as Her Personal Address since I do my work out of the Printworks Station for ************** Blue Lives Matter Directives. This complaint is intended for you to be aware of the problems involving the repair needed, refund, apology from the business and to enforce that Hipaa/PHI was broken by your staff which is a FERPA Violation at a Business Level (Examining The Lemon Laws). Also I told you to remove the Church Logo you put on my first ID and you printed it again with the logo. I cannot accept this as a finished or final draft. If you don't understand Tenebrae, Opera or May please stop trying to alter it into your own product, your job is simply to provide a service and not become a 3rd party. *********************** who was on your Doctrates Level shared information about my project with ******************* from Brown University which Destroyed the whole intention of this mission. Your requested to be ordered to pay refund, sign the affidavit pertaining to The Clery Act Report that you agreement to the complaint which will be uploaded into Fsa/Nelnet/CFPB/IRS. I asked for marketing materials on The Clery Act and they did not Furnish the statistics ordered by ******************************, ***************************, ************** and *******************************. The timeline for this was promised within the 3 week period for classes I needed for my Doctorates with ***********************. ******************* a Records Unit Manager requested transcripts be released in time for my Open Kettle and ********************** University Football Under Armour Presentation. No response from the business has been provided, mediation is requested which includes 1.apology 2.notify NCAA 3. Removal of holds on my bank 4. Fdic secure 5.     I am deeply concerned about the sharing of my nonpublic information with credit bureaus and the resulting inaccuracies on my credit report. This situation has caused significant financial and emotional distress.Under 15 USC **** Section 602, I have the right to financial privacy, and I expect my information to remain confidential.Furthermore, 15 USC **** Section 604(a)(2) states that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish account information without my written instructions, which I have not provided.I have identified inaccuracies on my credit report from ************************************************* impacting my financial well-being.     Johnson & Wales University ************* ************** has absolutely no respect or integrity for their students. They kick their students out on the street and expect them to go to their school. They vandalized and towed my property from their campus, breaking into my vehicle to steal my belongings. I explained to the **** that I would be facing homelessness if kicked out of student housing. The **** explained that even after appeals and reflection letters explaining that I come from an abusive household and have a severe mental condition still proceeded to kick me from housing after arranging payments to pay for campus living for having an emotional support animal. Today I stayed in their academic center as a protest and was kicked out by security for staying at my workplace. This school has lost my respect in all honesty will be wanting to withdraw. I told security that I would be sleeping outside on the floor and they stated "that's not of their business." -- END HOMELESSNESS. THE SCHOOL DOES NOT EVEN HAVE EMERGENCY SHELTER OR HOUSING FOR STUDENTS.
