I was paying down a debt to Novant. I received my lasted statement and was preparing to make the next payment. The statement was dated May 11. Within 3 days (May 14th), Novant had turned the debt over to a collections agency with no prior communications or warnings. Thus impacting my credit score. I am not aware, until I research, if there is a minimum number of days a until a company can turn an account over to collections. If there is, surely it is more than 3 days!My family and I will never conduct business (health related or otherwise) with Novant again.

Concerns About Billing Practices and **************** We have been patients at ******** Family Practice and Sports Medicine in **** for the past nine years and have consistently received outstanding care from the staff and providers. While we anticipated some challenges with the transition to Novant, the overall customer service experience since the change has been disappointing.Additionally, we were recently charged $17 for an "Emotional and Behavioral Assessment" during a follow-up visit for our daughters cough. According to Novant Billing, this assessment consisted of two questions she answered on a dry-erase clipboard at check-in. At no point during the visit did the nurse or doctor address her mental health, and our time with the provider was very brief. This charge feels misleading and raises concerns about transparency in billing practices. Under the previous Duke network, we were never billed for such questionable line items. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects a concerning shift in how patient care and billing are being handled.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at this doctor's office (Novant Health ********************************** Physicians). I requested assistance with completing **** paperwork. Instead of simply filling out the necessary forms, Doctor Mittal insisted I schedule a full appointment. This was confusing and seemed unnecessary.During the appointment, Doctor Mittal did not provide any actual care or medical examination. Instead, I was instructed to fill out the **** paperwork myself, and the doctor merely signed it. This process felt highly unprofessional and a complete waste of my ******* add insult to injury, I was billed for a regular office visit, despite not receiving any medical attention. It's clear that this doctor prioritized financial gain over providing proper patient care and assistance.I am currently disputing the charges and will be seeking a new healthcare provider. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this doctor

The *** and assistant were very good but the office visit pricing was outrageous... Do your homework first - I was in the office for 17 minutes, no tests only an initial exam by the *** and the office visit bill was $484. Seems rather high to me for 15 minutes of time. I will not be returning

Good Afternoon, I am writing a review in regards to this clinic. I scheduled an appointment for a yearly check up on November 10th 2023. Prior to the appointment. I did my research with my insurance to make sure that my yearly check up is covered through them. The reason I did that was because I had prior issues with the same Company in regards to irregular bills and procedures that were done with without my knowledge of being covered with my insurance. Clearly, that was not the case and when I went to my yearly check up appointment. I was charged a Office visit that made me a bill of $300 that I could not afford at the moment. When I receive the bill, I called to figure out what went wrong because I did not have any plans that I was going to have to pay a bill. I specifically called my insurance beforehand to verify that it was going to be covered because I was not able to afford to get more bills. I called this clinic and spoke with the manager and still did not resolve this matter. Then, after multiple tries to resolve with the manager of the clinic, I had to call the billing department and speak with the supervisor. In where he made me a payment plan. That was able to work with my personal finances. Then a couple of months later. I realized that I received another bill of $285 from the same visit, but apparently they didnt even communicate this with me correctly, through the appropriate information given of where I reside. I had to find this out by a collections company in where Novant proceeded to send my bill. After finding this information out, I made sure I paid that collections bill because it will impact my future as a 22 year old independent College Student who is only trying to survive this economy. Will never use Novant Healtchare ever again due to their lack of professionalism and customer care.

After my own billing nightmare with Novant, and reading the customer reviews here and elsewhere on the web, your A+ rating is an absolute puzzle. it makes me suspicious of the BBB rating system.

Ive never felt so helpless in my life The staff was rude and acted like we were bothering them The security kept asking if I had the right to be there because I was there for so long because they didnt see me. I had to leave and goto another hospital. Ill Never recommend this place I literally felt left for dead while others were just laughing in our faces.

Went for a physical last year, and I get a bill for $200, which then turned into $35, which then turned into $150. All for the same office visit. Each month the amount I owe changes and I call customer service and theyre no help at all. They tell me what I owe at the time just for me to get another bill next month with a different amount. They then started blaming my insurance so I made a three way call with them and Novant just said how much I owed. No one has given me a clear answer on why the amount changes. I pay off 1 bill just to get a different one next month, ALL FOR THE SAME OFFICE ******************* Novants billing numbers are inaccurate, even when I go on mychart I notice the numbers change, how? Why?

How has BBB rated this $hit Show an A+??? They must have paid that fee required. New ********************** was fine until Novant took over the billing last May. They got paid twice for a specialty medication used for an in office procedure. They billed for additional medication that I didnt actually receive. My Insurance is fighting them & threatening them with an insurance fraud lawsuit. In addition to that nightmare, I have been paying my $3500.00 deductible since 4/2024 in payments set up through My Chart in their system. They have my Credit Card on file, the automatically pull the monthly amount but today I received a notice that if I dont pay this outstanding total (the remainder of my payment plan) I will be sent to collections. The billing for this nightmare company is fraudulent. Ive never experienced such chaos in a healthcare system, & none of them are ever on point but this company makes them look like geniusesz
