Shameful, dishonorable, privacy invading piles of ofal! That's what I think of Lending Tree. I pray they all go out of business and every employee loses their job for shaping a company into such a horrid thing. Do not ever sign up for Lending Tree. You will regret it. My phone, on a Sunday, has rang over 35 times since I decided to check HELOC rates. What a horrible mistake that was. I truly hope some form of justice is inflicted upon them.Review from Joshua B

Unless you are 100% already committed to using their services, do not create an account. I signed up to browse rates on some refinancing options and now my phone has been getting destroyed by lending agencies non-stop. You could easily go around LendingTree and do the research yourself. Save yourself the hassle.Review from Darin R

Nothing but a bunch of rude scammers. Lendingtree 100% sells all your information to whoever they can. I get 40+ phone calls per day from pushy lenders who don't take no for an answer. Stay far away from away from lendingtree!Review from Randall E

Absolutely terrible asked about home equity loan and have received well over 100 calls that have nothing to do with what I asked about and they wont stop calling lost my contractor and my concrete company due to not answering their calls cause I couldnt tell the numbers apart from the 100s of calls due to lending tree. Cost me money and time and almost lost my job due to phone ringing non stop. The amount of time and money lost due to lending tree just throwing your number out with other information is terrible and reckless.Review from Brian E.

The people at Lending Tree are terrible. I never got a loan from them. Someone illegaly tried to apply for a mortgage in 2020 via LendingTree. Lending Tree shared my info with loanDepot. loan Depot had a data breach and both companies refuse to delete my personal information. They claim the federal government requires them to keep the information for 7 years, which is a lie after I looked up the legislation (especially since I never got a loan). When I challenged them on the legislation. They then told me it was company policy. I never asked Lending Tree or loan Depot for my business.Review from Ken A

The lending tree site has a button to see the best rates. I clicked it and filled in the information. Them, instead of a list of the best rates I get a list of lenders and their contact information and immediately get spammed by lenders to both my text messages and my phone. Total bait and switch. Dont waste your time with them if you are only trying to understand the best rates, they wont give it to you.Review from Sherri K

Bait and switch. They make you think you have lower APR and have you to put credit card pay off info and bank info into the system and then give you the much higher APR. Then you decline the loan and they go ahead and process the loan. I could not believe when the email came that my loan came through. I got in the phone and said you cancel this at once or I will call the attorney general. Never again.Review from shu v

So I just got off the phone with the first guy. It was easy and smooth. 15 minutes later the 2nd guy calls me asks a million questions. Like way too many questions. Lastly he asked about a funding method using apple pay/cashapp/zelle....so i thought he was about to send the deposit but instead he asks to log into my bank account asking for my username and password. No i'm good i'm not giving you my username and password for my bank account. You must be crazy. Never have I experienced this. No wonder the reviews are 1 out of 5 stars. Complicated and scammy. Stay away!
