      Do not stand behind warranty. Promised replacement shipment of damaged outdoor lights could take up to 10 weeks. Its been 12 weeks, no replacement, no response to emails or to phone calls at *******,** customer service number.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint against Honeywell customer service regarding my recent experience with a portable air conditioner (model # HJ4CESWK9).This AC was bought only three years ago with very light operation. I live in **. The operation of this AC is a month to two months a year. Details of the Complaint:I contacted Honeywell customer service to seek troubleshooting assistance for an issue with my portable AC unit. I clearly stated that the unit was past the warranty period.Despite my understanding of the warranty limitations, I was hoping for some basic troubleshooting guidance or a recommendation for a reputable service center. Unfortunately, Honeywell offered no troubleshooting advice and simply suggested I contact an HVAC company to inspect the refrigerant.I believe this response was dismissive, particularly since they lacked a network of recommended service centers to suggest.As a loyal Honeywell customer, I expected a more comprehensive level of service, even for out-of-warranty products. This experience has significantly impacted my perception of the Honeywell ******* urge Honeywell to re-evaluate its approach to customer service, particularly for loyal customers experiencing difficulties with out-of-warranty products. Offering basic troubleshooting tips or maintaining a network of recommended service centers could significantly improve the customer experience.Attempted Resolution:I have contacted Honeywell customer service and received the response mentioned above. I kindly request the BBB to investigate this matter and mediate a more customer-centric approach from ********************** for out-of-warranty situations.Thank you for your time and attention to this complaint.Sincerely ***********************

      DO NOT BUY THIS FOR SECURITY!!! Honeywell is actually garbage at home security systems, I own a Honeywell Security System from the 90s I think and its absolute dog spit at protecting my home everything just look so wacky and old and you dont even know if your system is armed or not unless your inside your home 1 star, Instead of this garbage security system I chose ADT because it aleasts have an app or a computer software unless this garbage. Also Honeywell is trying to be furturistic but they just keep failing, also Honeywell upgrade your logo its been like 45 years! Do better Honeywell.??

      I expected a lot more from Honeywell. I bought a portable AC unit from them through BestBuy. It started leaking water and the tank full sensor wasn't doing its job. I was still under warranty since it had been less than a year. They said they'd send me a new one. I missed some emails and things were delayed (apparently they needed pictures of me disabling my old unit). By the time I got the new unit, it was cool enough that I didn't need an AC unit running. We decided to leave it safely in the box until next year. Big mistake. The new unit doesn't work and since it's been more than a year from purchasing the first one they refuse to replace or repair the unit. TLDR: First unit broke within warranty, got the replacement but waiting to use is and it was broken so I ended up with two broken AC units.

      We are a small business owner who invoiced Honeywell, ************************************************************************* for janitorial services. Over the period of the contract Honeywell would reassign our account to various offices (in the ************ that handled their payments. This gave them ample opportunity to delay payment and made it practically impossible for us to contact them. Lastly they just refused to pay us over $4000 (3 months of service). We do not recommend providing service for this company unless you don't need to be paid.

      Vision PRO Series Thermostat 5 year warranty The thermostat was installed by a contractor as part of a HVAC installation in my apartment building. It has been approximately 2 years and I realized that it was necessary to replace the four AA batteries every 6 to 8 weeks. The unit would indicate replace batteries and go dead. I have contacted Honeywell several times. They always tell me to go to someone else. My contractor has contacted Honeywell several times. Building Management has contacted Honeywell. Honeywell admits that unit is covered under the warranty but will not replace the unit. They indicate that it is someone else's responsibility

      I purchased a Honeywell dehumidifier and it completely stopped working after 8 weeks. I am having a difficult time with getting a refund even though I provided everything they requested. I do not recommend buying any of their home products.
