    From day one Budget Blinds of Mint Hill was incredibly difficult to work with. **** (the "owner" of the business) was the one that came to our home to count/measure each and every window, for which needed blinds. On the day of install (which was delayed over a month from when they originally told us install would be), the person performing the install tells us that WE (my wife and I) did not include one window in our order. However, we did not place the order (**** did) nor were we responsible for counting/measuring all of the windows. We specifically told **** that we wanted every single window to have blinds on them, and even before we signed the contract (after his count) we asked if all windows were included; he said "Yes". Then, we called their office several times and no one answered our calls regarding this issue. My wife sent a follow-up email to their customer service team (her name is *******), who replied to the email stating "the missing blind has been ordered for you". We never saw an invoice, how much this newly ordered blind costs, and we did not agree to pay anything - their team just went ahead and ordered the blind on our behalf without us agreeing to anything. Today (8/1/2022) the same install guy came to install the last/missing blind and tells us our total is over $300. When we initially made the purchase (in Jan. 2022), our blinds were on sale for approx. $180/blind, which we agreed to for our entire house. While the install guy was here, we called the office and **** (the "owner') put all of the blame on my wife by telling us that we miscounted and signed the contract knowing we missed one window. However, this is not the case!! we signed with the understanding that we were purchasing blinds for all of our windows, and **** was the one that counted, measured, and affirmed that all windows were included. **** was unprofessional in the way he handled this situation; taking no responsibility and over charging us for blinds that we never agreed to
