After paying hundreds of dollars for two of my children to participate in cheerleading, we were told that if we did not travel 3.5 hours away during a winter storm warning, then our children would be kicked off the team. Very unprofessional. Very inconsiderate. Safety should be above money. The competition could have been rescheduled, or even been made virtual. To penalize children that can't drive and for something out of everyone's control is ridiculous. "Money hungry."

We understand that attending our States Competition was something you and your athlete had eagerly anticipated for months. We acknowledge your frustration regarding the change in venue. The weather was something that Champions In Motion could not have predicted when we set our original date of the competition. When competition dates are set, there are many factors that play into the date determination. The biggest one being the dates of all of the other events with Champions In Motion as well as staff availability (including judges), venue availability and so much more. The moment that poor weather was announced, Champions In Motion immediately communicated with local staff as well as our event venue. Following those conversations, Champions In Motion made decisions with safety being the forefront. Our decision determination was that we were unable to provide a "reschedule" date due to the company wide event and staffing schedule as well as the availability of the venues. Therefore, a change in location was deemed best. Preliminary is a "qualifying" competition for teams to perform their skills to be eligible for the States competition. This is a requirement for all teams wishing to compete at the state level. With the change in venue, Champions In Motion provided their coaching staff with options and alternatives for their team. Each coach was able to make a decision based on their own locations. Due to the change in venue, we allowed all athletes who registered for the Preliminary to automatically be qualified for their State competition if they made a choice not to physically attend.Registration for our events are not subject to weather and as stated in your registration, there is a no refund policy for all payments made and we are unable to issue credits. The event was not canceled. Our event staff and judges were present, and our coaches brought teams ready to perform. This event was a successful event for every family in attendance.

Dont have qualified coaches and likely to harm your child due to negligence, Stay away from this place if you are looking for cheer or any sport. After horrible experience with coaches in my area tried to reach out to corporate to report the dangerous situations with inexperienced coaches stunting but they never responded.
