    Great place to buy a car until u finance it. Worse experience ever. Absolutely no communication with the customer after you purchase your car. Finance company does not have any communication with Toyato of Greensboro. You are left on your own. So pay cash for your car or finance through your own financial institution !

    I just want to make others aware of my interactions with Toyota of Greensboro. A deer hit me totalling my **** Q5 I went in to purchased a used vehicle I seen online. First- they couldnt find the keys to the vehicle. Second- after locating the keys, the salesmen had a very difficult time finding the car on the lot. We finally found the car just to wait 30 more mins to pulled around ??????? Third- When testing the vehicle I was told by the salesmen where to drive turn by turn (very short drive) Finally, I decided to purchase this used vehicle and MAN was that a hassle within itself. I was asked several times to go ahead and leave them a review ( while waiting on the finance head ) Probably why they have a 4+ review on ******. Please note their forms of payment if you plan on buying straight out without financing! It took me trying 3 or 4 different forms of payment due to their ridiculous policy! During all this time was told the vehicle was being cleaned, which never looked like it had even been wiped down) In closing- After returning to the vehicle I just purchased straight out of pocket every warning light on the dash was on! I asked the salesman immediately what was happening? I was told this sometimes happens when the service team washes the cars, that it should go off. But because the service department was closed after all the hassle buying the car its after hours nobody could look at it! To sum it all up- I purchased a car they sold me and want me to pay $202 for a diagnostic test?? Meantime I've had the vehicle looked at by 3 other service centers where the mechanics flat out told they wouldn't touch the car after seeing the codes it displayed in their diagnostic systems. So unless you have $8500 to throw in the trash Don't do business here! I personally know one of their mechanics and was told this vehicle was thoroughly checked out by another mechanic upon its arrival. Don't trust their service department either! You'll end up with just a garage ornament!

    Had to come to Toyota of Greensboro due to totaling my 2018 *** 4. I was unharmed in accident so I knew that I wanted another *** 4. This was in October 2023 and came up on Sunday and saw the *** 4 I wanted. Went back on Monday and met our salesperson, Mal. He was great and willing to hear story about accident and then questioned were the one was that was there Sunday. He started looking and found it being test drove. He then looked across the street and looked up some information and told me there was a new *********************************** across the street. He went to get it and he seemed to be gone more than a few and when he came to get us I found out why. He had found the test driven *** and had it and the new one off the truck parked side by side (they were same color and basically same limited package) it was SO thoughtful to have them side by side to compare. He continued to be thoughtful and acted like a friend that was looking out for our best interest. I'm loving the 2023 *** 4 and encourage anyone thinking about a new or new to you vehicle to check out Mal at Toyota of Greensboro.

    I just recently leased a 2023 Rav-4 from Toyota of Greensboro. The salesperson’s name was Harold S********. He was friendly and kind. Harold wasn’t pushy, he gave me time to make my own decision and then was supportive of the final decision that I made. Harold was helpful in showing and explaining how to setup the Bluetooth on the car. I would recommend Harold to others that would be buying or leasing a car from Toyota of Greensboro. Thank you Harold.

    Went in for an oil change, consultant suggested me for other mileages service for 135$ then I decide go for it.. I’m returned my car displayed 3 lights : engine light and other 2 VSC lights on .. I told them right away.. he brought other manager out and said that my car is old and I need to pay 199$ for diagnosis.. car was fine and they asked me to paid more to diagnosis and denied that they didn’t do anything that causes 3 lights to be ON?? I am helpless and speechless for being foreign lady … not sure what to do next.. it seems like I HAVE NO CHOCE THAT I MUST RETURN TO PAY MORE FOR THEM TO SET THESE LIGHTS OFF.. SOMEONE MUST DID A DIRTY JOB ON MY VEHICLE … WHOEVER TECH DID IT HE WOULD BE THE ONE RESERVED MY CAR BACK … then I am sure I won’t be back to get mess up again… VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED OF THIS SERVICE .., HOW COULD THEY MESS UP MY CAR AND ASKED ME TO PAY MORE

    Our fan motor in our Toyota would not turn off. We took it to Rice Toyota at about 4:00 in the afternoon. They drove it onto their lot and would look at it the next day. We were explicit about disconnecting the battery because the fan motor would run all night and run the battery down. We got a call the next morning that our car caught on fire. It was a total loss. We asked if they would help us find a car and compensate us for our loss. They gave us the use of a rental car for a few days and offered $500. We were laughed at and said we could sue them. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I too would give you a negative rating.

    After calling Leah C at Rice Toyota Greensboro, there was nothing that she would do or could do as I already contacted upper-level management. I sent over 10 letters to different corporate addresses and was told that Toyota dealerships were independently owned and corporate did not interfere. I am stuck paying out of pocket about $13,000 for a car I didn't need until mine got burned up at Rice Toyota Greensboro. They take no responsibility!

    We got a quote for a car we were selling to Toyota, which was guaranteed for 4 days. When we came later that day to sell the car, the quote was not honored, additional inspection was requested and the offered prices was reduced from $8000 to $6800. We had higher offers elsewhere, but wasted our time traveling to Toyota Rice to learn that we should not trust the quote given. Both sales person and his manager were very unfriendly and unprofessional. ****

    We do regret that the physical inspection of the car did reveal that the car was not in the condition represented by the owner when a sight unseen offer contingent upon physical inspection was offered. It is not uncommon for a vehicle to be inspected before purchased by a customer or a dealership. The inspection ultimately revealed concerns that any buyer would have needed addressed prior to purchase.

    We were given a check which as was stated was good as a value for the vehicle. We were not informed that this is not the final quote and additional inspection is needed. Based on the information provided, we made our financial decisions, which as a result of this misinformation lead to a $1000 loss. ****

    *Update* Mary R*** has told me she does not want to do business with me anymore and that I need to find a new servicing dealer because I talked bad about them on this review. The GM was very passive aggressive toward me while defending himself and the service manager. Mary R*** Stated that you don't sit and eat lunch with the people that talk bad about you when all I was trying to do was have her address the issues with the service manager. If you are buying a car from here I would consider going somewhere else as she does not follow in her family's footsteps *Update* I am so sick of the service manager at this location. The GM or GSM needs to see that he is held accountable for the terrible customer service. I’ve had about 20 visits to their service department over the course of my new vehicles & it never fails that when their is a problem with his department he will never speak to me or anyone else. He is never anywhere to be found and when you ask to speak to him he will NOT get on the phone. I have three complaints on him to Toyota corporate and the customer relation manager is a joke also because she works for the dealership. She states every time she will handle him and his department but it is the same issue over and over again. He absolutely refuses to speak to customers whether it’s on the phone or in person. Avoid this dealership and the service department. The service manager needs to take responsibility for his department.

    Apologize for the formating below... Toyota's response is: In this case Toyota recommended to realign the bed with the tailgate. Toyota has given the customer the option to have this repaired at any body shop or any Toyota dealership. Customer has chosen to have it repaired at Rice Toyota. Our shop foreman will be handling the repair.

    I have a program called Tires for Life. I went in to have my oil change and any other services I needed. They recommended a new battery which I purchased. While there I asked about my tires Several service people it appeared I needed new tires.They said the program had gotten harder to get new tires. Said they would have Andrew review and he would call me back .Of course he never did I called twice and he refused to call.I posted a bad review.The next day someone called. He indicated if I had Several things done they would continue. Those items were not spelled out in Tires for Life.and cost more than tires.
