While there are no “perfect” medical centers, I have had nothing but the best from Bethany Medical Center. Sure, I could complain about this or that, but I have absolutely nothing to complain about. They are MY doctors, they run tests and go from there. I’m a patient at N.Main St in High Point, but have also been seen by Lindsay St and Skeet Club. Each facility has taken that extra step in securing my well being. I thank God for my PCP, she’s amazing and genuinely cares. She’s always going above and beyond for me and my husband. Thank you Arnaz for your expertise!Bethany Medical Center

1 starAbsolutely useless! Advertised as an urgent care/takes walk-ins but doesn't even have anything available urgently? Went in for an asthma attack and they told me I'd have to be seen tomorrow?! Tomorrow?? I could be dead tomorrow if I wait on an asthma attack till tomorrow. Take down your urgent care advertising. It's false advertisementReview fromBilly E

Bethany Medical Center on South main Street should be investigated for fraudulent charges made on insurance claims!Bethany Medical Center
Date: 01/15/2024
Bethany Medical Center does not submit insurance claims unless the patient comes to our office for a visit. This patient needs to provide a coordination of benefits to his insurance in order to get his claims processed. This is not a BMC issue this is a patient issue that he needs to resolve. Once he makes this call it should be corrected.Review fromCurtis M

This place is a scam.. all they want is your money.. they didn't even help with my problem I came in for.. I think I heard the word cash 15 times from the doctor..Bethany Medical Center
Date: 01/15/2024
The patient needs to explain more of his issue. BMC requires all patients to pay their co-pays at the time of service and this is collected at the front desk. The provider has no involvement with making sure their balance is paid.Review fromJoyce P

This patient talked to the Team Lead on 1/10/2024 and they discussed the issue with the CMA on the same day to resolve this issue. They did call the pharmacy to get the issue resolved and she should have been contacted by the pharmacyBethany Medical Center

1 starHello I hope you are well, I am writing to whom ever this may concern. I am writing in most recent events that I have found rather disturbing. Linda T*******. Has referred me to one of her offices. In wilksboro, in retrospect, my hippa laws were violated at that office. When my test results were being yelled out into the public. And as well as some things that were being said about your employees. On June 30,2023 I went to the beach, and while on vacation Linda T******* was working, while I applauded, she has talked about and I can give first and last names of the employees she fired and as well as the reason they were terminated. I am very disgusted that this information was thrown around out in the open, and that is not one of the first occasion. I also have videos of where he is spreading this information.Review fromRamona S

1 starTheir South Main St sign outside says "Urgent care" and "walk ins welcome". On 11/29/23, I walked in at 5:20pm. After calling Lindsey St. location and was told to go to the S. Main St. location. The lady at the front desk told me, I could not be seen because I did not have an appointment. I told her, why is this establishment says it is for urgent care and walk ins, if you can't walk in and be seen. She say: "I know, I told them they shouldn't say we are urgent care, because we are not, and patients need to have an appointment. I honestly think Bethany has gotten to be a JOKE! I have been seen by Don B**** for many, many years. I used to tell everyone they need to switch to Bethany. I do not do that any longer. Because Bethany has become such a hassle and all they want to do it run test and run test to build up money for their parents to pay and so they can bill our insurance. Medical Insurance has gotten ridiculous because of establishments like Bethany. I will NEVER refer anyone to Bethany again. By the way, today's incidence is NOT the only time Bethany has failed me, but it is the LAST time!Review fromCassandra J

1 starThis was the absolute worst visit that I have had with any of my doctors! First the front dest lady not only argued with me on the phone when I made the appointment about having a co-pay but she argued with me again at check-in telling me that I had a co-pay when I told her over and over that I do not have one, only for her to run my insurance again to tell me that I am correct and do not have a co-pay! Then the doctor comes in to talk to me and would not listen to anything about my pain. I have been going to a pain clinic since 2017 and I understand that I moved here from Colorado and your doctors want to start my meds back over from the beginning, but when I am telling them for MULTIPLE months that this regimen is NOT working then something should be done! Instead the doctor did not listen to anything I had to say and did not care anything about my pain or helping me! I got treated as if I'm drug seeking instead of getting real help with the pain I'm having. It was absolutely a waist of time and pointless. I will be seeking care elsewhere and I will be sure to leave as many bad reviews as I can for your clinic! They are horrible and should not be working as a pain clinic if they are not going to help their patients, we are there for a reason! The treatment at this pain clinic is why patients give up going to doctors for their pain and start seeking medications off the streets, I would never do that since I have a small child to take care of but I will be seeking assistance elsewhere!Review fromEllen M

2 starsIn general the practice of having the patient come back to go over results is excessive. It’s a money racket and a way to bill the insurance co for more payments and the patient to have to make, yet another co-pay. The doctor talks to you post procedure and tells you their findings, so why does the patient have to come back again? My procedure was done nearly 2 months ago, granted I missed the first f/u appointment, but if something came back abnormal on the pathology report I would hope that I would have been notified way before today being it was done over 2 months ago! Also, the report is held back in the “Follow My Health” app because they want you to come in so the doc can charge you another office visit. I say, if something comes back abnormal they’re hopefully going to tell me asap, hopefully not 2 months post procedure. I understand why the report would not be posted on the app before the doc has had a chance to review it (say for abnormal results), but if everything looks fine, why not post the results and not make the patient have to wait until seen. If it comes back abnormal, then yes, it shouldn’t get posted until the doc has had a chance to speak with the patient. They really need to revamp how they handle this. I’m annoyed that I have to take a day off of work to go over results that could have been given to me via the app. It is very expensive all the way around for a normal test result. Healthcare is expensive enough without doctors running up excessive charges that aren’t necessary and inconveniencing the patient. Post the results if they are normal and get on with life!
