I run a business that handles a fleet service contract for a large national company. We needed to get some exhaust gaskets fast and was able to get a box of 25 to our door within 24hrs. Just what the doctor ordered. Will use these people again when in a pinch.Elite Race Fabrication Response

I found this business online and they had good prices on their parts. I ordered the part I wanted and received it and it wouldnt work on my engine and I returned it in original box new and unused. I received my refund and it was short $45, so I called them and they said there was a restocking fee which on the email they sent me and said my return was approved and it didnt show a restocking fee and the only thing that would be charged if it was a special order item and it was not it was in stock item.Sent back July 20th did not receive a credit until July 31. it took three phone calls to talk to somebody about getting the rest of my money back and I was told they would call me back on August 1 and they did not so I called back next day and they told me they have them call me back in a half hour took them two hours to call me back, so they gave me an extra $25 so they still owe me $16. *******, we spoke with you and then you and your wife at least 3..5...maybe 10 times. Yesterday it was agreed to give you all of your money with exception of $20. Elite ate money just to try and please you, your wife thanked us and you even told her to not thank us. I am lost for words here. What is bad is that you sir have become such a consumer while working for the un-named competing performance parts company that you were numbed to the small business side where there are card fee's, human/man power expenses to shipping/inspecting/re-packaging and item. What is bad is that Elite ate more than $38 in the process of trying to aid you for the return that you made. Elite shipped what you ordered fast, sold it at the best price you could find it for, refunded you the correct amount per our policies that you agreed to, and then even bent over and gave another $25 to you yesterday in efforts to try and help. The true statement that "there are customers that you cant help no matter what you do" is honestly true. I am sorry that you find a small company that does everything right selling you/shipping you and getting what you purchased to you right, but then when you want to return it has to cover expenses to operate/card fee's/and a Manufacture restocking fee that we are hit with to cover their expense to inspect and rebox the item. Was able to bring my car from ** to ** and was a little worried. **** and JR took good care of me, and ***** and ** was always there when I called to answer anything. Took about 2 weeks longer than planned, but they came in more than $1k under budget and my vette runs out great. Bait and switched on an item I ordered based on photos at the time in their website. Ordered a newly released oil cooler csf ****, but received the fender cooler ****. Good Evening ******, I just looked over your order #***** I am showing that you ordered sku CSF8168. This item is an Oil cooler, as shown on our website as well as ******* (CSF). I think you have sadly misplaced this order for the incorrect item. We are more than happy to work with you to return/provide what you are needing. We have not stated once about any 50% fee as we do not have a 50% fee for anything. I think it is fair for us to collect a fee of some sort as stated in our policy since you have purchased the incorrect item and now request an RMA. Bought a fuel pump from them an air dog turns out I did not need a fuel pump. I sent it back. They wanted to charge me 25% restocking fee plus I had to pay to ship it back. I would never buy anything from them again.Elite Race Fabrication Response

The customer was sent an email that has the Return Instructions and original ****************** that he agreed to prior to placing the order. It has always stated a 10-25% fee, and that amount is based on what the Manufacture hits the return with, not what Elite hits it with. We can not know fully what % it will be until the item is returned to them. Below is the email that was sent:Good Morning ***, Please go through with the return policy and let me know if you have any questions. In order to submit a return request, please send us an email confirming that you understand and agree to our return policy. Simply reply to this email with your agreement to our terms and conditions.we request that you read the policy thoroughly and send us an email confirmation stating that you have understood the policy 100% and are ready to proceed with the return.Im sorry to hear that you want to return your product, but I understand that it did not work for your application, that you decided that you did not need it any longer, or that you possibly even ordered it in error. So long as the items are in new or saleable condition and in the original package without signs of installation or use, we have no problem accepting a return for this item within 30 days of the original purchase date. I have requested a RMA (return merchandise authorization number) for this purchase, which can take up to 48 hours to be processed and sent to you. This RMA sheet will include full instructions on how to ship the item back, how to package it, the shipping carriers suggested to use, and what needs to be included in the package to ensure a speedy return process for both us and you. Upon arrival, the items will be opened and inspected by one of the manufacturer's associates, and upon completion of the inspection, a decision will be made on the product refund.
