I mistakenly trusted Lenovo based on product reputation and my past experience with a Lenovo desktop. Now, I do not trust their warranty support. I ordered a ******** from the Lenovo website 12/21/24; it was a new, custom laptop from the outlet section (someone had canceled their custom order because it took too long to receiveshould have been my first clue). Received laptop 12/26/24. On 12/30/24, when I tried to set the laptop up, I immediately got an error message. Based on the error message, Lenovo tech support recommended device replacement, and a replacement order was created. I sent the laptop back, but Lenovo still had my money. For months, I reached out via Lenovos slow chat. Chat **** assured me a replacement was in process even when I reminded them it was a custom device from the outlet; they said it didnt matter, and outlet purchases were handled by the same warranty department as regular purchases. Still, they gave no ***. I kept saying I would want to know **** if there would be no replacement because I needed a laptop. Example of a Lenovo email response: 1/6/25, The replacement order is been work on, as this is a customized model it does take longer for the replacement to be ready, as the machine was to be build, as soon is ready the Visibility Portal will be updated. Finally, I got an email from Lenovo 3/26/25 stating Unfortunately, this product is no longer available so we will not be able to send your order. I got a full refund 4/8/25, but I did not appreciate the slow and poor communication; the lack of updates except for efforts on my part; the false assurances that replacement of a custom order was supported; and, in the end, not so much as a one-cent coupon or decent apology for months of inconvenience. Im only glad the warranty issue did not happen further into device use because ********************** would have left me hanging for way too long without a working device or loaner.

A Lenovo representative called in response to my BBB complaint and offered a kind apology and a $200 discount on a future purchase. Although I appreciated the new effort, I made it clear that the only acceptable solution was for Lenovo to provide a replacement (or comparable device) at no additional cost to me--this is what Lenovo promised at the time of sale, again when I agreed to return the defective device for replacement, and every other time that I reached out via chat to ask for an *** on my replacement device. ********************** kept my money for an unnecessarily long time while falsely promising that they were working on a replacement. Lenovo still has not given a clear reason why they did not ultimately honor the replacement; I never canceled my end of the purchase agreement.

Bought Lenovo desktop in March 2024 and paid for additional warranty. Within a year they replaced the motherboard - after numerous contacts with customer service - to try to remedy freezing up. That did nothing. It operates so slowly that internet sites time out and it can take 5 minutes or more to find apps and files. I was told by customer service that nothing more would be done. I suspect I bought a bait and switch but now the specs are no longer available on Lenovo's site. What a waste of money!

Lenovo complaint I recently purchased extra *** with for my brand new computer before I even received it. To ensure I was buying the right thing, I asked a Lenovo salesperson via chat on Lenovos website to lead me to the exact right thing and then purchased it via link posted within the chat. I wrongly assumed that the *** was the correct type/size and did not proceed to open and attempt to install it before 90 days had elapsed. It is this lapse of judgment that has cost me ~$150, which Lenovo has said they will not refund to ***** a sidenote, I had literally double checked with the representative I chatted with that the item was correct, because initially they had mentioned my new LAPTOP when what I had ordered an all-in-one DESKTOP even after they were provided the serial number to my machine and confirmed its exact specs. They assured me it was correct. When I finally got around to installing the ***, it was the WRONG one. A helpful tech support person told me there are literally two types, and the representative had sold me the wrong one. Because I had let 90 days elapse before trying to speak to someone at Lenovo to return it, I was told by a support person it was not returnable and I would never be refunded despite the fact that I HAD NOT USED IT and had bought it from a direct link in a chat THEY COULD SEE in their history based on MISTAKEN INFORMATION. They told me they would create a ticket, but that they believed it was unlikely that I would be able to return the *** despite the fact it was Lenovos mistake. I purchased directly from Lenovo assuming if something went wrong, they would be better equipped to rectify the situation than a 3rd party vendor. Instead I was met with a completely illogical return policy that made no exceptions for Lenovos mistakes. So I will not be refunded the $150 because they hire incompetent people to help with sales.

Lenovo laptop died after 1.5 years. Brought it in to reputable repair company and am told the motherboard failed and it would cost more to repair than I paid for the computer. I subsequently got online and started finding out that this is common with Lenovo that their motherboards often fail. Last Lenovo for me.

**************** is a joke at this company. I was trying to access my rewards as they became inaccessible. I was advised that the rewards were gone because the email had been changed. I was on the call for 41 min when I asked to up the chain of command. I was then told that no one was available and to call back in 2-3 h. This was the 3rd time I had called in 6 wks. If you have a problem, good luck, but it won't help

I ***orted my issue (screen display issue) for a Chromebook within 3 months of purchase by ***orting via ticket at **************************. Case was closed on me saying user did accidental damage! No evidence provided. No effort to check or contact me. I called their phone support. Provided multiple screenshots to their provided email and *** just wants to say you damaged. With no evidence. Asked for escalation and said I would be contacted via phone. Never got contacted. Now I am escalating the ticket. Via their website. I would totally not recommend Lenovo at all.

I ordered a computer with an estimated delivery date of 2/18-2/21. It is now 3/1 and my computer still hasnt shipped. I have constantly been lied to my their customer service **** with supposedly shipping dates. First it was 2/14, then it was 2/28. Now, they have no idea. Do not buy from them if you actually expect to receive the product. It has now been over a month since I ordered. The computer I ordered is still being sold despite the most recent agent saying they have had a backlog for some time.

Lenovo is possibly one of the worst PC companies *** had to deal with. Their warranty support took over 1 week and counting to get an onsite repair for a business laptop. We purchased the top support that they offer for a laptop warranty. I wonder how the customers that didnt purchase this warranty are treated. They continuously would call me on the phone to try to troubleshoot the issue. The company I work for will never buy another Lenovo product again due to this experience. This company does not care about its customers

Feb 25- Had a warranty repair on a legion 7i. Purchased 7/24. Motherboard replaced. Came back with the same issue. Told that I would need to send it back in. No exchange or refund possible. I have around 200 days left of premium care. Now I will enter the eternal loop of send it back for repair cycle. I will never purchase anything from Lenovo again
