    This was a horrid experience, we had family down due to a life-or-death situation, this happened to be the closest to the hospital and had availability. We booked them for 3 nights. The front desk person was extremely rude and not helpful. Once settled went down to get some drinks for the room and the guy at the front desked was so nasty that I only had a 20-dollar bill for a 5-dollar purchase. I let it go thinking maybe he was having a bad day since our first horrible encounter. My Grandmother and I went to the hospital to check the status of a family member in the hospital, we did not get back until later that night and when we did, we realized my stuff had been gone through. My clothes, makeup bag etc. scattered. I was petrified to even go to sleep that night thinking someone might come back. This was one of the worst experiences I have been through especially since it was such a vulnerable time for my family and to get back and not even be able to rest knowing all my belongings were sifted through and no safety is disgusting. They should be ashamed to employ anyone with that mentality. The room was decent but I have and never will stay at any establishment that is a best western due to this experience. IF you chose to stay put all your belongings in the safe or take them with you!!

    Our apologies if the desk clerk did not provide excellent service. We will review this concern and train further. Regarding your comments of someone going into your room and going through your items, we stated to you that we read and verified the door locks and showed no one entered your room. It only showed the keys made at check in going in/out. No hotel employee entered your room. We have a very safe and comfortable hotel.
