      I was told to get an account with ********************** by a loan officer in my local branch. My credit is fine, I am the store manager of ****** where all of them eat at for lunch in *************. I was approved for an auto loan and a Mrs. ******** ***** basically denied my loan saying that she couldn't verify my income after she received my driver's license which showed my black ********* is the ** one of my employees a White female who makes $9.With only a receipt of a paid off student loan, the white girl only paid $35.00 toward a $17,890.00 student loan debit. And she nor anyone at SECU ever called to verify her income! Hwy 55 doesn't do direct deposit; I was asked for that at first, I honestly told her the truth then she asked for pay checks that had been cashed at *******, so I went to ******* this toke 3 days for them to go into their system to access those checks and I sent them to her and then she lied and said she could not verify my income so at this point my loan was canceled.If you are Black, you may want to beware of SECU. I found out today that there are 100s of black people with this same issue that has happened in the past with her and many other white loan officers dealing within the SECU online Processing center.I am currently looking for as many minorities on all social media sites to help out in a class action lawsuit as to get proper compensation or at a minimum the termination of the racist parties involved. I have a lawyer who will take our case. We should fight back and make an example of people like her.This is being posted every 2 hours until I have enough minorities to male an effective change. I am not a coward I don't hide behind c*** that I never do or did, but I also won't lay down and be treated this way however long it takes this post will continue as well

      I hate the fact I had to give them a star at all. I called in to have cards replaced. A Credit Card and 2 Debit cards. I recently bought a house so I asked specifically for the cards to be mailed to the ************************* in *********. Please help me understand why the person who took my request sent the 2 debit cards to the branch as requested. The genius sent the Credit Card to my old address. Then updated my address in the system yet still sent the credit card to the old address. Please help me understand why? As of tomorrow that request would be 4 weeks old but still no credit card. By this point I've called the bank several times. By now I have all kinds of late fees for my bills set up on auto pay, my daughter cant log into her school account because it's now suspended due to non payment. Bills are in danger of being disconnected. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor because the only option I'm being offered in a 2-3 turn around time frame. These representative need more training. These supervisors need to make sure the representatives understand how their mistakes affect customers lives. The options I was offered only benefit the bank charging me more interest for a cash advance. They need more options,products and services available for the customers. I see why a lot of people on social media have gone to Navy Federal. At least they have integrity,products and services for the customers. I'm so glad this is not the only banking institution I patronize with. After speaking to the supervisor was no better than the person who transferred me to her. She was not very knowledgeable about additional options. None of them seemed to care about how I've been treated.

      Very poor business. The customer service. The lack of knowledge. The lack of consumer rights. The poor ability to help their customers. Yuck. I purchased a car. I was told that due to the pandemic they were allowing us to refinance. I did so, and then my car was stolen. My ************* was voided due to it being a new contract. I was held responsible for the remainder of the car even though they REQUIRED I sign up for GAP. And LITERALLY OFFERED the refinance (deferred payment) option. The company doesnt follow its own rules and its customers have to feel the blunt of their recklessness.

      Not sure if its new management or not, but it was shady as h*** I was charged a NSF fee and they declined a payment I had coming out of my account despite the money being in my account to cover it. I called customer service and was told that despite the funds being shown as available in my account they could only be drawn out at an atm at the time and not used to pay electronic drafts. At no point did they indicate the funds in my account could not be used for electronic drafts despite their own mobile app saying my funds were available from my paycheck. The math ain't mathing.

      Tried to send wire transfer 2 days ago. Received a call today asking for further details about my wire purposes. ******* for a purchase and they have held my business up! This is ridiculous harassment and policing by bank! Send my money when and where I ask! If I have an nda with a client then for one I'm not at liberty to disclose the business. Secondly this is 3600! Not 3 mil! I am withdrawing my funds and closing account!! Unnecessary inconvenience for sending a couple thousand dollars.

      They charged me a NSF fee every month and declined the transaction even though there was money in my account when they payment tried to post. When I called the only thing they could over me was to put overdraft on my account which I didnt want. I expressed my frustration and wanting to close my account and they didnt try to stop me or treat me like a valued customer.

      12-04-2023 I was sent a letter stating that a gift card I purchased in 2021 had a balance and to call the SECU to find out the balance. NO ONE answers the phone number provided. I went to my closet SECU bank. I was told that, OOPS, there was a glitch in the system and the **** cards can't be used. I asked how I can get my money back. The letter had the last four digits of the **** card. After numerous follow-**** I was told...too bad. So millions of SECU members have purchsed cards, there are outstanding balances and someone or individuals are stealong our money.

      Was told by representative that if I mobile deposited a check for ******* it would be available the next day. It was a check for a loan from **************** I was buying a car the next day from a personal add. Well needles to say that was a lie. They put a 4 day hold on the check. looking to take my money else where. Been with them way over 15yrs.
