In September of 2022, an employee of Eastern Turf sprayed my lawn with Roundup accidentally. He was supposed to spray my neighbors lawn. All my grass died. They did come & re-seed my lawn and left instructions to water. I watered twice daily which added hundreds of dollars to my water bill to speak nothing of the time. They left an instruction sheet that didn't mentioned applying anything else but water. Now I have a lawn full of weeds. It looks terrible. I contacted the company and they are refusing to fix the problem they created.Business response

ETM did incorrectly treat the area on the property in question. In response to our error, we apologized and rectified the situation by reseeding the area with tall fescue at no cost to the homeowner. All types of turfgrass seed require a certain amount of moisture, sunlight, and oxygen to germinate and develop.
ETM uses a high grade turf type fescue containing 0% weed seed and 0% other crop seed. Both annual and perennial weed seeds naturally occurring in the environment. All turf areas will have weed competition without a sound weed control program. The proper turf management program will promote *********** and control weeds.
ETM offers several turf management programs to fit most homeowner budgets. ETM would be happy to discuss these options with the homeowner. ************* services are not provided at no charge.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I dont see how reseeding rectified my situation. As a result of your mistake, I was forced to spend many hours of my time &hundreds of dollars on water to give the seeds the moisture they required. Also what I have now is much, much worse than what I had before you stepped foot on my property.
I would like to be compensated for my time, water bill & what will be required to get my yard to look like what it did before.
