Moving company has not delivered our furniture/clothing etc. After 28 days. Pick up date was on 6/30/22. Delivery date was to be on 7/6/22. Multiple call were made for 2 weeks and the moving company could never give us a date. They tells us to call back the next day. Now they won't answer any of our calls.Initial Complaint

This company damaged almost all of our belongings during the move. They lost parts and pieces to almost all of our furniture. We've contacted them several times and have received no response. We have a document signed by the moving employees agreeing that they damaged our items. We have images to prove the damaged items along with the signed document. We've submitted this claim to ***** over 3 months ago and have not heard from ***** since the beginning of the claim. The claim number for the ***** case is ***********Business response

This moving company showed up to do a move for me after they were hired by a broker. The driver on site at the pick up location spent most of his time on the phone. The movers weren't equipped with the specialty instructions that were provided to them by the broker such as bringing a washer moving kit or a crate for a fragile piece. They took apart many pieces of furniture which shouldn't have been taken apart but they promised that all screws are there and that they will put it back together. When the items arrived at the delivery destination the unloading team refused to do inventory and therefore didn't allow me to check if all of my items arrived. Many items arrived damaged. The delivery team did not put together the furniture that they took apart and many of the screws are missing. I've called 5 separate times and no one is calling me back.Business response

Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2021/11/30) */ This company has not contacted me back once after several attempts to reach out to them. No answer and no resolution has been provided. I would like a refund for the services. They showed up without proper tools, damaged my items, upon deliver they did not put back together any of the items they took apart. Screws are missing and all of my items are in pieces. I would like a total refund. The delivery driver signed his name next to my note recognizing that they damaged the items and did not fulfill their job of arriving with proper tools and putting items that they took apart back together and they lost screws. Do to the chargeback that was made on the full amount of your service, we are not able to satisfy your request. All of our employees are trained and equipped professionally to complete their service. Do to the last minute unexpected space needed of your household goods to complete your move, we even had an additional team to assist the move. As a company, we assemble everything that is taken apart at a residential area not in a storage unit like your case. Beyond Moving was contracted to move a limited amount of furniture and belongings from ********** VA to ************* CA. We took out full replacement insurance for an extra cost. The belongings were picked up on 5/8/2021. They were delivered (late) on 7/12/2021. Two items (an antique lamp and antique sewing machine) were missing from the delivery. The Household Goods Descriptive Inventory acknowledges these items were "not delivered" and "will be shipped within 5 days". Several items were damaged as well including an antique slate mantel clock (this was destroyed). All items damaged or lost were recently inherited from my mother who died of COVID-19 in Virginia in February 2021. These items were selected for their importance and sentimental value to ship to my home in California. Beyond Moving (****************) was initially responsive to our attempts to have missing items located and delivered but they now ignore our calls and/or do not return them as promised. We filed a claim with "****************" as they instructed and waited weeks to get a reply. When one finally came the offer was based on weight despite the fact that we indicated we had full replacement insurance. ******* said she would "take care of it" and call us back but nothing ever happened and they are unresponsive to our calls.Business response

Move dates: July 2, 2021 (Should have been June 30, 2021) Paid: $11,083 Service to include: Packing and transporting personal items from one home to another Resolution: None Dispute: This moving company is horrible. They were late, they charged more on top of what was already paid and they STOLE my personal items. Two, over $400 TVs, with a proposed resolve of $94, which does not replace the TVs that were stolen. There were other items missing and damaged too, but this is the most obvious. This company is a thief.Business response

I've not heard back from this company after their initial contact. It's been weeks and there's no resolve. I'd like this case open so that I can have support in reaching this company. They do not respond to consumers. I only received contact when this complaint was filed.
