1 starClassic bait and switch. I would choose 0 stars if able..... On their web page they displayed the **** crossed out and below it "Dealer Discount -$2138.00". And when I tried to get a final price they said the discount didn't apply because it was an accumulation of rebates. However there was only two rebates available showing on the page as a separate line item and they only totaled to $1000.00. They couldn't explain how the 2138 was summed to by rebates. Then they kept trying to add in additional "packages". After rejecting an offer from them that didn't have the discount, they would disappear to "rework" the offer and add different line items. Every offer ending up more than the orginal ****. And none of this included the normal sales tax, tags/registration, normal dealer administration fee. It was agonizing watching them try to convince me that the "dealer discount" wasn't really a discount but rebate and that "they really didn't have a say in the fact that the website showed the "dealer discount" and that is was corporate's doing" and that it wasn't a bait and switch.Review fromUche E.

1 starIt was the worst customer service experience. Even worse, they are unscrupulous: (lied about the cost of oil change and tire rotation by doubling the charge), unprofessional, and I will not recommend anyone service their vehicle there. Another customer, who I thought was joking, tried to warn me very loudly (the service personnel were proud of their thieving skill) about how they will add unnecessary services, and bloat the cost. He continue to tell me to keep my hands in my pocket to protect my money. I paid over $186 for oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor/technician(*****************; if this is his real name) tried to make me add wheel balance and alignment to a virtually brand new vehicle: hardly driven. What a shameful dealership. The customer was right about his allegation about this dealership. Be warned about ************************* ****** in ******* **************. I called two ****** dealerships to ask how much it would cost me to get an oil change and tire rotation. They both quoted me a price that was less than half of what ************************* ****** of ******* charged me. Then, I realized that, they fraudulently charged me for my second car that is still under manufacturer's warranty that they did a recommended service of oil change and tire rotation which would have been at no cost to me since it is still under warranty. I brought both cars in same day and time. So, essentially they charged me for the service that was supposed to be free as per the manufacturer's warranty. ************************* is a clear fraudulent, and unscrupulous dealership. BE WARNED!!Review fromTed G

2 starsVisiting this dealership over the years and watching a consistent decline in several areas of customer service has become as much of a disappointment as a visit to the ** DMV.On average over the past 7 years all of my service appointments have cost me a minimum of 3 hours per trip, today it was 8.5 hours, just for a battery replacement. Of course they don't communicate or provide any updates at all, even when they take your mechanic off of your car to work on a different one, it would have been nice to know that up front!Sitting in a waiting room chair for 8.5 hours with no idea of the status of my car is stressful enough, I shouldn't have to chase someone down for an answer, only to be told they prefer to communicate via text. I thought car dealerships were all about face to face relationships? And at the end of this painful shift I find out all of this was for a battery replacement, even worse they tell me it could have been done sooner if they knew it was a battery replacement, really?? 3 batteries in 3.5 years from **** Anderson, why would I expect a bad battery only after 1 year? I lived in **, batteries lasted 5 years on average, in below zero weather!! And isn't the point of a service appointment for them to diagnose the issue, not me....Finally I get my car back, thinking after all of these battery issues some of the cost would be covered by battery warranty, not quite. Not only do they tell me the warranty is shy by a few months, they suggest I could wait up to another 2 hours for them to see if Nissan would cover it. Stick a fork in me, I'm done!I have given this dealership many years of loyalty, there used to be a time when that meant something. There also used to be a time when customer service was a priority. The customer deserves better!!! Although this is a 1 star experience I do give some credit for the skilled mechanics, they just follow orders but deliver great workmanship.Review fromTim E

1 starOne star is too many. They Manipulated the carfax to show only one accident when the real carfax showed 3 accidents. The managers knew this. These people as you see by these reviews have no morals. After they were caught and tried to lie their way out of it they treated my sister(the buyer) like s**t. She paid extra to have a couple of dings fixed. Of coarse they would not repair the dings. This is why car dealers have bad reputations. ***************** was the location that these people took over. We contacted the corporate office without a reply. I guess this is the **** Anderson standard of practice. Do yourself a favor a buy a car some another dealer!Review fromTrela P

1 starI am completely disappointed in **** Anderson aka Anderson Automotive Group. I purchased a car from them on August 25, 2023, in **********, ** because my mom told me THEY WERE THE BEST COMPANY. She trusted them and as a first-time buyer, I'll be **** if I go to a lemon lot. Well, that's what I thought until I drove off with a WHITE 2020 Kia ********* LX which I couldn't test drive due to the merger. I drove the car off the lot and realized my trunk didn't work the following morning. I returned to the dealership and they told me they had to order a part on 8/26/2023. On 9/6/2023 the trunk was supposedly fixed and guess what it wasn't PLUS I WAS INFORMED MY TRUNK HAD A CRACK IN IT FROM THE TECHNICIAN CRACKING IT. I WAS OK WITH IT LONG AS THEY FIXED IT ASAP. I reached back out to them the same day to inform them the trunk wasn't fixed. On 9/11/2023 I took the car back up there and they informed me they had to order a connector piece which they didn't do the last time. Here we are 9/26 1 month and 1 day later and I am still riding around in a 2020 Kia ********* LX whose trunk doesn't work. At this point, NO ONE NEEDS TO TRUST THEM OR THEIR BRAND NO MATTER WHAT LOCATION IT IS.Review fromDeb V

1 starWe were sold a car with transmission problems and paid full price for it and were not allowed to drive it off the lot before purchase. After a lot of back and forth with this dealership, I believe that Fred Anderson Nissan Raleigh knew the vehicle needed a transmission and that is why my husband and daughter were not allowed to test drive the vehicle. To add insult to injury, we have repaired additional items that were known when we purchased the car (such as the alternator belt). When my husband calls Fred Anderson Nissan Raleigh, the Used Car manager, *** *** tells him it is not their problem and suggests he call Nissan *** to see if they will help out because we are a family of Nissan drivers. This, of course, does not work. The Service Manager, *************************** was equally unhelpful, telling ** they would not offer any major discount on the transmission work.Review fromZach P.

1 starBEWARE. Fred Anderson service department takes shortcuts and attempts to scam females who come in to service their cars, please think twice before going to this dealership with your Toyota. ********************************************************************** My fiance’s 2017 Toyota wouldn’t start and was towed to Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh. They suggested that the entire motor be replaced for $8,000 to $10,000. The video that the mechanic sent me raised some questions so we towed the car that Fred Anderson said needed a new motor to ****** **** in Greenville. (A business we have a great relationship with) They had it running within 20 minutes but they did suggest that we perform an engine flush. I asked them to perform a tune up while they had it. It was ready in a day and then driven to *************** VA and back to Raleigh. Thank you ****** **** * ******* ****** (and *******) for fixing the car at a fraction of what the dealer wanted, and being able to give quotes and meeting deadlines in a fair and not predatory manner toward females We will never be returning to Fred Anderson.Review fromEliana G.

1 starI scheduled an appointment with the service department because my check engine light came on. ****** ** ************ couldn't figure out what was wrong either. When when I was finally called to check out I was told the check engine light was off, but there was nothing wrong, however they completed an oil change. I didn't need an oil change, I had not asked for an oil change. I paid and drove home. I live about 30 miles away. I drove home, parked my truck and went inside my house. I went back outside about an hour later and noticed there was a pool of oil in my driveway and a trail coming from the street. I had been leaking oil for 30 miles. I decided to look under my truck and noticed that the aftermarket plate that covers the oil filter and oil pan is covered in oil. I took off four bolts that secure the plate. Cleaned everything and noticed that the bolt that contains the oil was very loose and oil was dripping from there. It took a few tries to finally get it to stop dripping. Sloppy and half done work. I attempted to call, email, left messages to multiple managers only to never hear an apology from them for leaving a mess and not doing their job to standard. I expected them to do a job well done as they represent Toyota. They took my money once they will never get it again.
