    on 11-18-24 I mailed paperwork to be transferred they received paperwork on 11-20-24 and on 12-4-24 -I opened a ticket #****** and explained that per **** tracking they received the paperwork for transfer on 11-20-24 and they stated Yeah that they received the paperwork and Nothing else has been done-

    We responded to your support request that you just made yesterday, 12/04/24, letting you know when it was received & that it was in line for processing.  We are processing work within 8 business days of receipt.  The ADGA office is not open on the weekends and was closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday Nov. 28th ?& Friday Nov. 29th.  Today, 12/5/24, we are processing work for 11/20/24 ?& have processed her transfer.  Her certificate will be mailed this week to your address we have on file, ?********************************************************************

    As required by the ADGA, I submitted *** samples for a buckling born after ***. 1, 2024. I followed the steps to submit per their website. The account has been charged for the *** tests. I have received no results. I opened a support ticket on 7/10/24 requesting assistance to find out when results would be sent and if there were any issues with the sample to please notify me. I've received no response. Today, I happened to find on the online portal a section that showed the *** test request order date and it had an option to change it to sent. I changed it to sent thinking maybe I was supposed to change the status of the order to sent when I sent the samples weeks ago? There is no instruction on the website that this needs to occur when samples are sent, so I'm not sure if this is correct. I need to know if the test has been completed, and if so, I need results sent. If there was an issue with samples, I need to be notified on what to do to resubmit. Apparently this is the only way to get a response from ADGA. If my son was not interested in continuing to show goats, I would have long ago canceled the membership. This organization has terrible customer service.

    I have already opened an ADGA support ticket with all the information requested. Ticket # ******. No one will respond to your ticket system. I'm not sure why the organization will provide no other way to contact with issues than the ticket system if you are never going to respond to the tickets opened.     My son's account was charged for *** testing for a registered buckling born 2/1/2024 on June 4, 2024. We submitted hair samples to the lab via the instructions provided in our *** kit we were provided. We still have not received test results and no results are posted for the animal in his ADGA account online. The buckling is DB *************************************;PD2381642 RE: DB09 LE:S03. The ADGA Sample ID on the *** Kit is ADG$202406240. When can we expect results? If there was an issue with the sample sent, could someone please notify us?

    on 6/17/24 I registered a doe AA2393055. When the registration was completed, I noticed that it did not include our herd name and instead just said "the". I submitted a support ticket to have the issue corrected. It has still not been answered. on 7/8 I finally got ahold of someone on the phone. They stated they need the original registration back before they can do anything. I am already over a month behind getting this does kids registered and now want to delay this process even more. If they want the registration back thats fine but they can at least make the corrections so I can get kids regisered for fair season. Their customer service is deplorable but they are quick to take your money when they can. I need this resolved quickly.

We gave a credit for non-member rates that he was charged BUT we cannot correct the name until we get the certificate (which was told to him in the support ticket). And as of 7/11/24 we still have not received the certificate.

    In mid October '23 we sent in paperwork to register two goats, along with a check for $68 to cover the cost of the registration. One goat was registered with the fees coming out of our account balance with the ADGA. The other goat was not registered. Our check for $68 was cashed by the ADGA but the funds were not credited to our account and were not used to register the goats. We used the ADGA's Support Ticket System on 11/6/23, 1/3/24, 2/19/24 and 3/18/24 in an attempt to have the funds credited to our account or refunded. We have received no response from the ADGA excpet an automated reply that they received the support ticket and the three follow *** to the same ticket number..

    This organization is horrible at registering goats. I call and I get hung up on by their phone system. I try to log into their website as a member and the page never loads. I was able to get into the website 6 months ago and attempt try to register an animal that was already registered in the American ************ database. I have not gotten anything back from them. After 3 months of waiting I called and at that time they said they were having problems with their software, and they were trying to resolve it. I am NOT the only person experiencing this. I bought 4 baby goats from ************, and they can't get them registered so they can transfer them to me!

    ADGA has taken funds and not processed the registration papers promised. It has been over a year now. They continue to hold 3 goats registration papers that I own. I am not able to register the kids from the does these papers are being held from. They have caused the farm to loose income. They will not answer the phone or reply to emails. Registration numbers on these does are PD19900038, PD1902110, PD2029068.

    I am contacting in regards to registration of dairy goats to be specific three goats that I have. I have attempted to contact via phone and email several times. I have not been able to get a hold of anybody via phone call. I have paid registration fees without, any certificate of registry being sent to me or being able to speak to anyone regarding why it has not been sent. I was told that it was taking some time as they were a bit behind but I feel after a year and a half that is ample time to provide me with a certificate of registry, or to contact me regarding the issue, as I have attempted to contact and reach out to them several times.

    On 25 January 2022, I paid $45 for my linear appraisal application. Then paid the balance of $350 on 20 July 2022. The linear appraisal took place on 15 August 2022. Thus it has been a year since the appraisals, yet no record of same is displayed on any of the goats' individual pages on the ADGA.org website, nor on their adgagenetics.org pages. I spent nearly $400 for this "service" from this business, yet it's as if it never happened.

    Thank you for the message.  Correct - This is a separate issue from my previous unresolved complaint.  My first complaint is related to what they call "milk stars" which are awarded based on recording a goat's milk weights as well as the milk being evaluated for butterfat and protein by an approved lab.  My current complaint involves what they call "linear appraisals" which are somewhat like a car appraisal: A goat expert examines the goat then assigns scores to the various physical traits of the goat.  Both the milk testing program and linear appraisals are services offered by ADGA and paid for by customers.  Results for goats qualifying for milk awards as well as appraisal scores are published on ADGA websites.  This is important because breeders can direct potential buyers to these official records.  These awards and appraisals also normally appear on the pedigrees.  As of now, there are no confirmations or records of milk stars earned by my goats in 2022 nor any appraisal results from a year ago.  Hope this helps.

In regards to your question pertaining to Linear Appraisal from 2022, all members who were appraised and who have scores have not yet been uploaded to ADGA Genetics. We understand that this is a very high priority and are working diligently get all 2022 ********* into ADGA Genetics by the end of the year.

    In the meantime, members who were appraised during the 2022 scoring year, can view their type summaries on the **** website. All scores for 2022 have been counted and able to be viewed at the ****.

    In addition, you are able to contact the ADGA office directly by phone. The office phone hours are 1:00pm 4:00pm EST. The phone number to the office is ************. When calling the office, you are able to select which department you would like to speak with.     I have reviewed the response made by the ADGA which was surprisingly polite for a change.  While I do accept the response, I continue to be baffled that this business needs more than one year's time to simply publish linear appraisal results.  Between this and the absurd backlog of milk awards that have not been recognized, I really wonder what would inspire customers to continue paying to participate in ADGA's ******************** when the paying customers don't know if any of their efforts will be acknowledged.  ADGA has done a thorough job of destroying customers' trust in the past few years, as well as treating members very poorly.  It is no wonder ADGA has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau.

    I applied and paid for a membership in April, 2023. I received a membership and was promised that i would get a package in the mail with the information i needed on May 1st, 2023. I never got this. I have put in a ticket request on this and have received nothing back. Then on May 19, 2023 I mailed copy of registration paperwork and a check to have my dairy goat registered and have heard nothing back. I have tried to contact them by another ticket but have heard nothing again. This organization has a horrible way to do business as there is no phone number, no email, or any way to get in touch with them. It should not be this difficult to register a dairy goat. Can you please help me with this? i have tried to resolve this myself but my tickets are still open but I have yet to receive a response.

    I paid $45 toward an application fee to participate in the Linear Appraisal program for the year of 2023 through the American Dairy Goat Association. I sent in my final herd list on April *********************************************************************** I waited and received no further word. I received confirmation today that my Linear Appraisal date passed on June 27th and I was never informed. I want my application fee returned to my account. This organization has repeatedly caused issues for me. I was also charged for the new registration of my goat, ****** Farm ZA Bijou and still haven't received the actual certificate. I've placed numerous support tickets to ADGA and have received no communication in return. These issues need to be dealt with immediately.

    The ******************** Manager reached out and gave you a second option for an LA date for the 2023 scoring year. The manager also gave you a choice to either select the second LA date or get a refund for your application. You responded stating that you would like a refund. As of this morning, your online NG account has been refunded $45 for your 2023 LA Application fee. You are able to see this refund by logging into your online account. Once you have logged in, please look at the bottom of your screen to view the ACCOUNT HISTROY. Once you are there, you will see that the refund took place at 7:45AM on 07/28/2023 for $45. Please let us know if you have any questions or issues regarding viewing the refund in your online account.

    Regarding your animal, ****** FARM ZA BIJOU, the certificate of registration was re-printed and issued on 07/25/2023. You should receive this paper in the mail soon.

    I accept this response since I received my refund. I find it very frustrating that ADGA's response was that they offered me another LA date. That offering was in another state which is really unacceptable. Also, the registration that I'm still waiting for is only being handled because I, myself, had to email someone from ADGA through a backdoor that was kind enough to help me out. None of my several support tickets were ever answered by ADGA. This company is ridiculous and would completely fold if it wasn't the only show in town. The saddest part is there is never a basic apology from them or admittance to their mistakes. I have had countless issues with them over the last few years and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
