Start dates 07/04/2023, so he had the vehicle on and off between these dates, the end date 08/18/2023. *************************, failed to fix a vehicle with the proper and new parts. He charged $860 to fix the timing chain but failed to replace the gaskets. Leading to an issue with the car. While the car was at Kountry Korner garage, I had to purchase oil and antifreeze twice because the issue was not resolved. I also had to purchase all new parts costing $600. ***** used the new parts but he also used old and wrong parts on the vehicle. He flushed the oil so that caused the oil sensor to not receive any oil flow at all. Also caused a block in the oil from sealant he used on the old gaskets. He said he'd replace the old gaskets he put on with new ones if we purchased them, for free, then he changed his mind and said he'd charge us $400 to replace them. All this lead to us going to a different garage, ***** decided to call and speak to them about the vehicle. We gave no permission and had no idea why he decided to reach out because we was no longer looking at ***** for advice or help. After ***** called and spoke with them, the garage ar first said it was the gaskets after running the codes there $160 later. Changed their diagnosis to the gaskets and timing chain was fine. Then that garage said they'd be able to further diagnose the vehicle if they took it apart for $1,200. That price kept changing also. So the time of the vehicle being at the other garage, ***** was speaking to them without our consent. Why? I have no idea because the car was no longer in need of his business. We asked ***** for a refund because the gaskets he was supposed to of changed during the timing chain was the reason the vehicle was messing up. He refused a refund and said he didn't change the gaskets because they didn't need to be replaced. So we decided to leave the vehicle at the other garage in hopes they'd be able to fix the problem. We dropped the vehicle off on 08/23/2023 at the other garage.
