Date of transaction was 9/25/2024 and the amount was $26.86. I ordered a custom order of donuts which I did not receive from the door dash person. It was an hour late arriving and the box was soaking wet. Inside the box it was the ordered items. It was a dozen of wet items. When I called the store to complain I spoke to ****** who only took my name, She did not ask for the order number or address. She said She would refund money and then hung up. Nothing was sent to me stating that an refund was in progress. She was very unprofessional and needs retraining. When I called the store back, multiple times during the day no one answered. Please not the business is open until 8:00 p.m but no one answered the phone.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
The ****** ****** did not handle this incident well at all. I buy donut all the time from Krispy Kreme for our office and the police department. ****** simply said without trying to settle the situation by saying "we will refund you" No other details and hung up the phone and still has not try to return my call and settle the situation. Simply refunding the money is just part of the resolution. She needs to be reminded that there are not many stores still active here and the customers are patronizes these stores because they are genuinely liked. I am a long time customer and it is her job to maintain that relationship to keep your customers who patronize your store to assure that it remains open and a part of the community.Initial Complaint

Two issues. Emailed Krispy Kreme multiple times about visit (ticket #*****) on 3/17/2024 not being counted towards rewards. No response. Updated Krispy Kreme app on 8/29/24 and all accrued rewards disappeared.Business response

I purchased a half dozen doughnuts through the krispy kreme on ************ in *********/**************** on July 26th , 2024 at roughly 7pm. I was told my total at the window which was $9.50. I gave them my card they charged me and didnt give me a receipt. When i arrived home i saw they charged me $47.50. I went back to the location and they told me there was nothing i could do. They told me to call their customer support. Which i did, a total of 5 times over the last month. i was told each time they saw the charges and everything and that i would get a call or email from a store or district manager regarding a refund. it has now been a month and i still have yet to receive my money or a call or email about the situation.Business response

On 7/31/24 I went to Krispy Kreme in **********, AL to order doughnuts as part of the promotional event advertised on their site. The event reads, All Krispy Kreme full size doughnuts available for just $1 per doughnut. And, theres no limit! Whether youre a fan of the ** or want to try one of our limited time only doughnuts, each one is just $1. This offer is available only at your local Krispy Kreme, so stop by today and Go For The Glaze!I ordered my choice of doughnuts and when I arrived at the window I was told my total was $19.15 which was far more than the promotion. I asked about the promotion and was told that it is only for one doughnut. While trying to pull the promotion up on my phone to show the employee, they shut the window and walked away.Customer response

I tried reaching out to Krispy Kreme about the local store in **********, AL not honoring their promotional event. However, I have not received a response to my complaint. This is very disappointing that Krispy Kremes customer service is non-existent. I have always enjoyed their products but I will not be doing business with them again if this is how they treat their customers.Initial Complaint

On 7/12/24, I ordered 2 boxes of donuts for delivery. I never received an email or update stating the order was on the way, I just happened to go outside and see it sitting by the door. Not only was a whole box of donuts missing but the box received has missing donuts. The driver didnt even knock on the door so I could get the order. I contacted the store multiple times and no one answered, I sent a complaint, no response. I spoke with customer service and they were definitely not helpful, just advised they would have a manager contact me but that never happened. The only thing I requested was my money back but no one will even reach out or take accountability for whatever delivery service they used. I would like my money back immediately.Customer response

On 6/30/24 I placed on on-line order for a custom dozen donuts. I gave the ** ************. location 45 minutes to fill my order. Upon arriving, no order was ready...I inquired as to why?..the reponse was "I see it on the screen". No employee attempted to fill the order, so I asked that the order be cancelled, and my money refunded ($17.64). On 7/8/24, Krispy reached out with case # ******** and offered me a free dozen original glazed donuts. Keep in mind, no refund. I responded that all I wanted was a refund (in that, I don't even like original glazed donuts). So, on 7/16/24, this time case # ********, they again offered no refund, just more donuts that I don't like.Customer response

I have wrote TWICE with no response. So here we are. I had an order 6/30. A dozen donuts and a coffee. The coffee was melted, like bad. The doughnuts we did not receive the correct donuts... So were old like rock hard and dry and some were literally soggy, almost like they had been left to melt or something dumped on them. NONE were edible. This order was over 30 dollars delivered. I'd like it refunded or a gift card for that amount plus something for the disrespectful actions of not replying. Why should I have to keep emailing and such to get ANY customer service.Customer response

On National Doughnut Day, I ordered online to take advantage of the "buy one, get the second one for two dollars" deal. When I arrived at the store, the line was out the door. Despite the website stating my order would be ready for pick-up, I had to wait in line for almost 45 minutes, only to be told that the hot doughnuts were sold out. I asked for a refund or a rain check, but was told I had only paid for one doughnut when I used the app. I contacted corporate to address the issue, and a representative admitted the system was overloaded. Despite several calls to the corporate office, where I was told my case would be escalated, I have yet to receive a refund of *****. I am requesting a refund for the undelivered goods before I consider involving an attorney.
