Signature Real Estate - this is the most unprofessional, business I have ever worked with. Signature Real Estate is not following by HOA laws set by the state of NC. They treat homeowners with no respect.

Per the governing docs in this owner's HOA, fences (of any height) are not permitted to be installed in the common area (which includes the home's backyard) without written authorization by the Board of Directors. The Board sent this owner a 30-day notice to have an approximate 2 foot fence installed by the owner removed and when the owner failed to do so, they scheduled a hearing. At the hearing, the owner still refused to remove the fence as he claims he is trying to grow grass. The Board said the fence is still not allowed and will be removed if the owner did not have it done by the end of the week. They did offer to seed and straw the common area behind his home twice in 2024 to help grow grass at zero cost to the owner. The only request was that the owner help water the grass as the contracted landscaper cannot be on-site every day to do so. The owner is upset as he believes this is still not fair. Signature was present at the hearing per the Board's request, but Signature has no authority to issue any action regarding the hearing without the Board's request and approval. The decision to remove the fence and seed and straw the common area was decided and approved by the Board.
