Corwin Jeep in Fargo ND did not disclose to me that the car I was purchasing had previously had a rat eat up the wiring. I would not have bought the car if this had been disclosed to me.

Corwin sold my 74 year old father a truck that did not exec make the 90 mile drive home. My father, who is a veteran, by the way, had to get towed home, and when he went back to Corwin, they simply said, NO we will NOT help, it's sold"as is"so now not only is the truck most of his SSi but corwin won't exempt help, no assistance at all, VERY POOR customer service experience

I purchased a vehicle from Corwin in March online. I worked with *******, she was great in the beginning at getting the paperwork set up, inspection done- told me the two issues that needed to be fixed, and confirmed the vehicle would be ready in 1 week. I bought sight unseen and had to fly to Fargo to pick-up this vehicle. I confirmed with her numerous times that the inspection items would be completed and the car ready for pick up on the agreed upon day. When I arrived in Fargo, the vehicle we indeed NOT ready. She was very disorganized, tried to say the car wasnt ready after I had just paid for an airline flight to Fargo. The car wasnt even at the dealership when I got there. When she showed me the car it had not been detailed- inside or outside, the gas tank was on E, and she said one of the items from the inspection didnt get fixed due to a delayed part. This delayed my pick-up by almost 3 hrs! The whole point of buying ahead of time is for a quick pick up! They agreed to ship me the 1 part and pay in full for the labor. This did get done with no issues. Two weeks later my mechanic found the second inspection item Corwin claimed they fixed upon pick up was not fixed. I reported it and they again said they would pay for it and requested I send them the estimate. Now, I went wrong and assumed they were using that as budgetary and not actuals. The actual labor and parts were $500 MORE than the estimate but Corwin only paid the estimated cost and now refuses to pay the actuals. So, I am now out $500 for something that should have been taken care of before picking up this vehicle and hours of time wasted due to them being disorganized, not backing their inspections or confirming that vehicle was ready. It was truly the most ridiculous buying process I have ever seen and I am very disappointed anyone would allow business to be done this way. I should also mention that I went over Crystals head to the used car Manager- calls and emails- and no response.

They ignored when asked for help and mislead my fiance after totalling the car hitting a deer, telling him to not notify the loan company. Come to figure out it was because his information was almost completely incorrect and still had not been verified. So it has completely turned our lives upsidedown paying for a car and insurance for a car that is totalled, even with the purchase of Gap protection. The info he needed was given too late after numerous attempts to get help from anyone.

I was notified of this situation on 4/29/23. No name was provided to me on the complaint so I have not had the opportunity to look into the situation. I would have to have the correct name in order to give out any information to that person directly.

I went to corwin public wholesale three months ago and purchased a 2014 ****** Sentra, they told me the car had just had the transmission replaced right before I bought it and originally had told me it had. Three year warranty in the transmission. Then after I had signed the papers, they told me they read the paperwork wrong and it only had a one year warranty on the part. I drove the car three months before it slipped out of gear while I'm drive and would not move. I brought it back to the dealership and they told me it was a barring loose in the axel they fixed it and one week later my car did the same exact thing. So I brought it back to the dealership after they sent me to ****** telling me ****** had the warrenty and would be handling it. I went to ****** and they told me they had no record of the vehicle and sent me back to corwin then corwin was able to find the warrenty and said they would get it looked at no communication what so ever from them I had to go in several times to ask about the progress of my car, a sales representative was very unprofessional and was swearing while answering the questions I had. They later told me it would take a month to get looked at. I, very frustrated wrote a very honest review of their business on ******* While waiting to hear back from them I got a phone call from one of the sales managers *******************, he was very rude to me and told me my warrenty only covered the part and not the labor and he was "going to be nice" and cover it for me but after reading my review was no longer going to to be covering the labor costs and that I would need to come get my vehicle and tow it to ******. They would not be helping me with that either. ND he would not buy the car back from me. 0 out of 10. I will not ever be going to corwin again.

Corwin was pretty awful to deal with when I sold them my Jeep. It was excuse after excuse to not have to give us the check. "Waiting on the title", even though they signed for the title 28 days before that with ***** Then they finally send the check, but make it out to the wrong name!! How convenient. When I bring the check back and ask for a corrected one, they seriously told me they would have to wait 10 days for the Stop Payment to take effect before they could issue a new check!! Lol. Not to mention they accidentally admitted to me that they had resold my Jeep the first week they had it! They clearly have major cash flow issues, and won't make it much longer. They should be charged with running a Ponzi Scheme, what they are doing is the exact same thing!! I should have been paid as soon as the title was received, and definitely when the vehicle was resold, but instead they needed to do the same to the next few customers before being able to pay me. I wouldn't trust doing any business with them because they may need to shut their doors tomorrow.

We made the payoff for the Grand Cherokee to Gate City. The salespeople tell the customers on any purchase off the streets, that any payoffs can take 4-6 weeks before we receive the title, and then we issue the check to the customer. Gate City mails us the titles by regular mail. We cut the check to the customer when receive the title and we verify that the title has the correct names (no maiden name, no other person listed on the title), no VIN errors, no odometer errors before we mail out the check. The check was issued in error to our new customer. Our standard procedure is to do a stop payment on the check and wait 10 days before we re-issue a check due to the possibilities of mobile deposits. The customer did try and mobile deposit our check made out to the incorrect customer and brought the check into us with this stated on the back of the check. We did call and talk with our banker after placing the stop pay as our banker clarified with us that a mobile deposit can go through even after a stop payment has been placed if the mobile deposit was done prior to the stop payment. Our banker is manually checking our account to make sure that this transaction does not go through. We went ahead and re-issued the check to the customer knowing that the mobile deposit could possibly go through as our customer was very upset and the error was made on our part. I apologize for the error on our end on issuing the check incorrectly.

I went early in the morning to look at a vehicle. Once getting there. I was told the vehicle had been stolen. I spent all day there trying to get a vehicle. They either couldn't find the keys ,or vehicles wouldn't start or batteries burned up. After saying I'd come back the next day as I was getting tired. They said wait a minute. We have one for you and in great condition other then high miles. This was on a cold feburary day where vehicles all had snow on them, so you couldn't see alot. I ended up buying the vehicle. Four months later started hearing bad clunking noises in the back. Took it to a mechanic and was told it's unfixable . The frame is totally rusted out and unsafe to drive. This didn't just happen overnight. I went back to them and asked if we could work something out as I'm still responsible for payments on this vehicle I can't even drive or fix it without costing more then the car is worth. They said I bought as is. Yet I was never told the frame was shot. If they inspect there vehicles like they told me. They should have know this was bad and never put it up for sale. I could have been killed in it. I really thought this was a good dealership as I see many of there vehicles around town. I'm very upset and disappointed with this company.
