I found Max **** on line. I had problems with my checking account and was in need of financial assistance. I borrowed 400. I was told the payments would be ***** per month for 9 months for the cash advance. A total of 539. I thought that was fair payment.My credit score was 750. The agent I spoke to was polite and helpful. My wife sat quietly and listen to the call. All was wonderful for a shirt time. The first sign of a problem was I received no paperwork on the agreement. I had nothing no email or postal mail. I waited. I did not hear from MaxLend until the day the payment was due. That was from a ****** withdrawal on my checking. I flipped. My income would not allow me to pay a 250. Payment. I change my checking account debit card and pin. The next month the same thing a 250. withdrawal. My finances could not withstand the amount of the withdrawal. I knew I needed to do something. I went to bank and contacted MaxLend. This company said I agreed to the payment. I would never to this I do not have the income to pay this amount. They said I agreed to ****** xs 9 months!!! That is 2250. For a 400 dollar loan I swear I did not. I am 68 years old. I received Ss and a small pension. If there is a recording it is manipulated. Never for no reason would I agree to pay these fees. This is robbery. If I did it I would go to jail. This company should be held accountable for their sleazy practices. I would starve before I would accept these terms. I don't know what I can do but whatever is available I will do. Never for no reason borrow from this company. I think it is 1850. For the 400 loan advance. That is over 4 times the amount I got. Isn't there laws against taking advantage of the elderly and all people. I am now financial buried I don't know if I will be able to catch up. Until this company my payment record was perfect. I am 2 months behind in my credit cards. The amount they took sank me. You borrow from these guys your screwed.
