I recently was employed with this daycare, new employees are NOT allowed to be alone in a classroom with children if their FULL background check has not came back completed. ONLY my pulmonary background came back for me to be supervised and on my second day working at this center they put me by myself for 2 months with children. Other complaints have been made and file with CPS with this daycare and I am currently trying to get my background check transferred to a different/better school but I havent been able to due to my full background check still not have came back. Something needs to be done about this because I am not the only employee they have done this with.

My daughter, who was two years old at the time, attended childcare full time at Sheyenne Learning Academy from September 2022 to January 2023. In January 2023 my husband and I decided to remove our daughter from their care due to management concerns. During the time my daughter was enrolled in care, I was employed by the Fargo VA (still am employed) and was a part of their child subsidy program where the VA paid 24% of my child care bill. Due to national shortage of employees, the VA was behind on making payments to the childcare center. In January 2023, a proper notice was given and an emails were exchanged between me and one of the owners ********************************* to ensure that there was no unpaid bills. At this time I also informed ******* that approx $1,000 will be coming to the VA to their center for my childcare and since my bill is paid, this money would put a positive number on my account and need to be paid to me. ******* agreed to this and this is in writing. I was informed by the VA that payments for 2022 were made to Sheyenne Learning Academy in June 2023 but ****** and ******* both stated they did not receive the funds. I confirmed again with the VA who stated these were paid and the account info was correct. After multiple times of asking *******, she did admit that the funds were placed in their account but refused to add the money to me account, giving me a positive balance and reimbursing me for child care cost. I made several attempts to explain the program to her but she refuses to follow through. stated she is not obligated to reimburse me. I informed ******* that a small claims court affidavit will be filed if she does not comply. I have all records saved if these are needed for proof.
