    Company was hired to strip floor and refinish. A payment of $*** was paid. Workman promised a three day job but interrupted completion for over two weeks. Inspection of finished job, revealed areas not covered, cracks not filled, swirl marks in the grain, and residue on floor. Also product was left on area too long and raised wood in one area. Numerous attempts were made to contact him. After repeated calls and texts, and his promise to return, he did so. He indicated he would come back. He, after another period of unanswered calls and texts stayed for half and hour and filled some cracks, but unfinished area not done and swirl marks remain. At this juncture, a refund is requested so we can find another wood finisher to correct.

    I selected Modern Wood Flooring, ********************, to install wood flooring that I had purchased through them, at my residence. In November of 2021, I wrote a personal check out, to said business, in the amount of $******, for the down payment. I drove to the address, to sign papers, but he was not home. I phone Tony (owner) and told him that I was at his door. He said that he was at a jobsite and that I was to mail the check, to him, and he would mail the contract, to me. I did as I was instructed, but I never received a contract. Over the following months, my text messages and phone calls were returned stating that the wood flooring was ordered and that it would arrive sometime in January. Because of setbacks with the building that the flooring was to be installed, I informed Tony that the delivery would need to be delayed a few weeks. This went on until beginning of March 2022. March 15, 2022, I received a text, from Tony stating, "Hello, would it be ok to deliver wood floors next week?". I replied, "Sure, if you're up to it" March 23, 2022, I informed Tony that the electrical was hooked up to the building and which day would the flooring arrive. No reply, from Tony. March 23, 2022, I text Tony again stating that the HVAC units are being installed. No reply, from Tony. March 24, 2022, in the morning, I phoned Tony. He did not answer, so I left a voicemail asking, "when is my flooring to arrive". No reply, from Tony. March 24, 2022, I texted Tony, asking when will the wood flooring be delivered. No reply, from Tony.
