I placed an order for a Fob, batteries, and a magnetic key chain from Keyless Entry Remote the second week of May 2024 and have not received my order as of today. I live in Southern California but according to their tracking information, my order is traveling all over Pennsylvania. These companies create bogus shipments knowing full-well they haven't shipped the ordered items.

      Hello,

We did ship out the product. I do not know wha* **** ** doing. With the tracking number, **********************, you can see it left our building. We have issued you a full refund. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you!

I placed order ******* with ***************************** on 11/5/23 for what was advertised only as "Nissan Altima OEM 4 Button Key Fob," with absolutely no mention whatsoever of the fact that they were used. The site emphasizes how wonderful "OEM quality" is, leading any reasonable person to assume they are new. I even checked the "FAQ" section of the site to make sure I wasn't missing anything, but there is no mention of there of the products being used. Confident that I had purchased brand new items, I did not inspect them before hiring a mobile locksmith to program them at a cost of $130. When he arrived, I took out the fobs and immediately noticed that they appeared used. The locksmith already drove to my home so I let him proceed with the programming, and he was unable to program one of the fobs. I called the company to ask if there was a mistake, and was told that they were in fact supposed to be used and that there was language to this effect on both the main page and the order page. The former claim is a flat out lie, and at first I couldn't find it on the order page either, but eventually saw that one must scroll down far beyond the order-placing button to eventually see tiny print that says something to the effect of "before you buy" which one must click to then open a menu that finally tells the truth...I can't confirm the exact language because right now even that section is now gone; one would be able to complete the order without ever seeing that they have been tricked. I will be returning the fobs and expect a full refund, but the phone representative refused to reimburse the cost of the locksmith. I see from previous BBB complaints that they will make an exception for those with similar issues who refuse to accept this kind of abuse. I demand the same reimbursement, or as an attorney (** *** *******) I will look into initiating a class-action lawsuit in addition to spreading the truth about this incredibly unethical company via social media.

      Hello,
We sell used OEM remotes. No where on our site does it say we sell new remotes. It states this under the Before you purchase tab:

We are proud to offer true OEM key fobs direct to you at up to 80% off dealer prices. There is a catch though, so here it goes:

You need to know the only way to get a NEW OEM key fob is to go to a dealer or authorized reseller of OEM parts, and you will pay dealer prices if you do this and spend hundreds of dollars.

      Our Products:
The key fob you are going to purchase from us is used or as we like to say "previously loved". We recycle OEM key fobs and put them through a rigorous refurbishing process so we can guarantee our products and offer them at a reasonable price along with saving the environment. Oh, and we are not robbing you of your hard earned dollars like the stealership does. So if you are good with all of this what are you waiting for? Make your life easier, order a key fob from us and save the world!

This clause is under every single listing on our site.

As for programming costs, it does state on our site that we do not cover programming. In light of your concerns and to ensure a satisfactory resolution, we will proceed with processing a refund for your payment. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to addressing any issues promptly. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact us. Thank you

I would like to clarify the previous response. It was not explicitly stated that we will issue a refund for your programming costs. Please note that refunding programming costs is not a standard practice. However, we understand that there may be exceptional cases where we can offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Thank you

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The individual responding appears to be illiterate, their responses aren't making any sense. Please escalate this to someone who is capable of understanding the following.

*You WILL reimburse me for the locksmith costs, otherwise I WILL initiate a class-action lawsuit*

This is not a complicated sentence, please have someone respond as if English is their first language. Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      Anthony Parets

Order #****** dated 9/22/23 for a refurbished key fob for a 2022 Honda. Received key fob 9/28/23 and called a mobile locksmith to program. Mobile locksmith made 2 attempts to program and said the key fob received from Keyless Entry Remote was locked and could not be programmed. Called Keyless Entry Remote and requested a refund for the key fob and unsuccessful service call. If the key fob had worked I would have been happy to pay for the fob and service call. Keyless Entry Remote claimed they would refund the price of the key fob once it was returned to them but would not pay for the unsuccessful service call. As of this time no refund has been received from Keyless Entry Remote for either the bad fob or unsuccessful service call. A copy of the receipt from Keyless Entry Remote is attached. I will request a copy of the receipt for the unsuccessful service call from the mobile locksmith. Please advise why Keyless Entry Remote feels that it is my responsibility to pay for an unsuccessful service call for a bad key fob they sent?

      Hello,

We do have you set up for a return. According to the tracking number, you have not mailed the remote back. Once we get it back, we will issue you a full refund. As far as programming cost, it does state on our website that we do not cover programming. There could be several different reasons why the remote would not work. It could have been anything from the remote to the car to the programmer. That is why we do not cover programming. Thank you!

      Hello,

We do not normally reimburse programming fees but I am willing to make a one time exception. The product has been received back so we will refund that purchase back to the credit card used for the purchase. The reimbursement for programming fees will be issued via check and mailed via USPS. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right for you.

Purchased a fob and transponder key for my vehicle. The fob would not program. They sent a return label and I returned the fob without issue, waited for a different fob to be in stock, ordered, and they were kind enough to expedite, but when it arrived, it too would not program, and then my original would not work either. I now have no way to lock or unlock my car. I followed their directions and disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, which did not help. I now need a mobile locksmith to try to program the original fob, for which they are charging me $***. I will return the second fob to this company but they should make my situation good.

Recently I ordered a key fob for a ***************** from this vendor. I was aware that it would need programming. I took this fob to the **** dealership in my area and they said that it was dead and would not work. When I called the company they said oh **** dealers can't program the **** key fob for some reasons they were explaining that I have to go to an auto locksmith and that it said that on their website when I bought this. I asked her to show me where it said that on the website where I bought it and she couldn't it only said professional programming required. Saying that anyone would think that a **** dealership should be able to program a **** remote. Also when she couldn't show me that it said that anywhere on the website she said well it depends what software the **** dealers use so there's a 50/50 chance the **** dealers can program it. So I called the auto locksmiths in my area and because companies like this rip people off like this all the time they do not program fobs they do not sell. Also the **** dealer charged me ** bucks because I couldn't get this programmed for their service. I think I should get refunded for the fob and my $** I think it is very important information that should have been shared with me whenever I purchased this. Also the representative said she would let me send a voicemail to her manager she put me on hold and I sat on hold for a couple minutes and then I never got to that voicemail I got to a customer satisfaction survey. I don't think that was an accident.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/09) */ We do recommend an automotive locksmith over a dealer for programming. Having said that, it is up to the customer what professional they choose. We do not normally reimburse programming fees but I am willing to make a one time exception. The product has been received back so we will refund that purchase back to the credit card used for the purchase. The $** reimbursement for programming fees will be issued via check and mailed via USPS. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right for you. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/12/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I appreciate the quick reply from customer service from this company. I do not appreciate how **** the lady was and talking to me like I was stupid for taking a **** key to a **** dealer to get programmed when I initially called. Again I do appreciate them making the problem right.
