Oriental Trading Company has been charging my credit card since April 2023 a membership fee of $14.95 a month without my consent or proof of registration for their *** ******* program. They claim they can only reimburse me for 4 months. I would like a full refund of these membership fees. The outstanding amount left to be reimbursed is $179.40Business response

Made a purchase of a toy for my niece and I have somehow been charged $16.09 every single month unknowingly for absolutely no service or product. I never enrolled in this service at the time of my purchase and the addition of a subscription service to my one-time purchase is absolutely ridiculous and predatory. We have issued the full refund for the 7 months that were charged. The credits were issued on 07/03/2024 for $104.65 back on your credit card. If you would like to call us at ###-###-####, we can provide the ARNs of the transaction for the credits. ARNs are Acquirer Reference Numbers that you can provide to your bank/CC company to search for the credit transactions.Customer response

On Dec. 9, 2023 I made a purchase under a guest account using my church's childrens bank account. I did not authorize nor receive an email stating I was under a 30 day trial of any kind. I found out today that my church's childrens account has been charged 14.95 for the last six months.Business response

I have been charged a fee of $14.95 and did not authorize this charge. It has been coming out for a while and I don’t catch it until now. I just discovered a cryptic "*** ********" $14.95 monthly reoccurring charge to my credit card that started with my last order to orientaltrading.com 7 months ago. When I ******* "*** ********", I found many BBB complaints linking it to an orientaltrading.com scam where they trick people in to agreeing to free shipping but charge you a monthly fee. Who would agree to that!? As many other people have filed the exact same complaint here, I think it's obviously the same issue. I will never order from Oriental Trading Company again.Business response

I have made 2 orders with this company since Oct last year. I received my orders and everything was fine. What I did not sign up for was a monthly subscription. They’ve been charging me $14.95 every month since Nov 2023. Nowhere did it say that if I buy a Halloween costume I will be signed up for a program. Not once was I notified that they are billing me, I accidentally discovered it while looking through my bank statements. Took me forever to figure out how to cancel it as I never even knew I had a ‘funrewards’ account. I kept on getting a ‘we’re sorry, for security reasons the accout has been denied’ message. Found an email in Spam with my email address and a password they assigned me, and only then was I allowed into this account to cancel it. Very unhappy with these practices and feel taken advantage ofBusiness response

I’ve purchased from here a few times. Now I’m being charged for an otc brand membership that I am not signed up for. I don’t even have an otc account I’ve always done guest check out.
