      We got new carpet installed on a FREE tear up & haul away, FREE install, and FREE furniture move. They wanted to charge us extra to move some furniture so we did that ourselves. They call you to go over a quote and expected me to know everything we needed for the install i.e. shims, tuck & tack, etc. I am not a carpet installer. The person who measures will add extra things in quote and if you agree to the quote assuming it's right based on them supposedly being professionals then that's the price you will pay no matter what. The install was a standard install and no shims were ever used which should've been free. I was told since I agreed to the quote not knowing if shims were needed or not they won't take off that charge even though that work was never completed. We have three more rooms to get new carpet and hope we can find that same carpet from a different company. I will not use NFM again solely based on their customer service and false advertising of their promotions.

      We purchased a table here in August. It is now the end of March and we still do not have a satisfactory table. It took a very long time for the table to come in, lots of frustration figuring out pick up, and then that table was damaged. We had to drive the 6-hour round trip to Exchange that damaged table, spent over 2 hours waiting on the dock inspecting three additional tables, and all of them also had significant damage. They have now delivered to our house twice, but each of those tables were also damaged. The little monetary compensation they've offered was not even fully honored. And we are in a, what feels like, never ending cycle to try to get a table that isn't damaged. The model on the floor did not have scratches and dings and mars, so I would have expected the table I purchased not to either. It's been incredibly frustrating and I would highly recommend not purchasing this, or possibly any other, item at NFM.

      Their 5 year warranty we purchased for $329 is absolutely ridiculous. I have pet damage (which has a one time claim) it took them over two weeks to make a decision on the claim. It was accepted BUT I as the customer have to find someone to make the upholstery repair, I as the customer have to pay for the repair first and then be reimbursed by the insurance company ( Squaretrade) I paid off my balance early & have been an excellent customer for them. This is absolutely ludicrous, I CANT afford to pay for the repairs & then “possibly “ be reimbursed, like I said I paid $329 for 5 year warranty & have never had to file a claim with them. Terrible communication from both Squaretrade and NFM. I WILL get this resolved but I will be closing my NFM card and never buying from them again

      BUYER BEWARE! I bought a Samsung on TV because of all the great reviews, Samsung was the only choice as far as I was concerned. I was told by many friends and many professionals saying that Samsung was the best out there. I bought my TV from what I thought was the “AWESOME” Nebraska Furniture Mart. During the purchase the sales Associate (which was amazing) offered us an extended service contract. I thought this was a “no brainer”. Fast forward to when the TV was delivered. It was damaged, NFM ended up replacing the TV because the “ALLSTATE” warranty I bought did not cover the damage. I finally got my TV, and it was perfect. We loved it and were happy with the purchase. Fast forward to February 2025. I got home and the glass on front of the TV was on the ground shattered. You could imagine my shock and surprise. I made a claim on my “SQUARE TRADE ALSTATE” extended service contract”. They denied my claim without talking to me nor seeing any pictures!! I was “told” the warranty would cover anything. After 3 emails they offered to refund the cost of the warranty. I told them this was unacceptable and that I would be turning to social media so anyone that reads my review will be aware that NFM and SQUARE TRADE BY ALSTATE are deceitful and will do anything to not pay a claim. They refused to pay the full amount for the TV so here I am letting the world know! BE AWARE!

      BETH! In Customer Service! You are amazing! Super friendly, fun to talk to, and incredibly helpful. Thanks for making the whole process easy and enjoyable. Answered my question about early furniture pickup with patience and a great attitude. It is so rare to find such outstanding customer service, and she truly went above and beyond.       Purchased a LG refrigerator 15 months ago the lady that waited on us assured us that the side by side we purchased was a good refrigerator top seller. The lady didn’t bother telling me the one we purchased might have a linear compressor and if the refrigerator does have a linear compressor you will get a 10 year warranty but after 5 years LG will pay for the compressor the customer pays the 1000 dollars in labor, guess what my compressor is leaking the fan motor that keeps the ice maker making ice. It has been 6 weeks now maybe 5 regardless we just get a call that our service person can’t make it the day after tomorrow because of the weather so they want to reschedule, shouldn’t you wait till the weather at least gets bad. Contacting NFM got us nowhere there extended warranty gets us nowhere. Very frustrated that I spend 2000 on a refrigerator to get 15 months out of it leaking compressor and a failed fan motor because a lying salesperson cannot be honest with the customers I can’t be the only person that has been lied to LG IS NO DARN BETTER THEY CANT STAND BEHIND THERE JUNK TYERE SELLING JUST ADMIT IT QUIT RIPPING OF THE HARD WORKING MAN TRYING TO MAKE HIS WIFE HAPPY AND BUY HER THE BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR SHE DESERVES. Stay clear of sales people do your own research which I usually do and I did not on this purchase shame on me. Coming close to taking the darn thing back and tell them where to stick it. Probably sell it to someone else then they would have my problem. Bad business

      Chris R*****, Subject: Formal Complaint of Sexual Harassment I am writing to formally report an incident of sexual harassment that occurred while NFM drivers delivered home goods to my house. At approximately 5PM 31JAN, 2025 (2) two drivers came to our home to drop off a newly purchased mattress we had purchased the day prior. Upon arriving we were told the sales representative did not fill out the portion about taking the older mattress and they would not be taking it with them. This was not an issue. However they did offer to be paid on the side (which the company does not support, but does turn a blind eye to, as the drivers are a 3rd party company). I stepped outside to make a phone call to the sales rep to get the paperwork corrected so we could get our older mattress taken away. During this time, my wife and the (2) two delivery personnel go into the bedroom area, two which a torrent of unwelcome sexual language and behavior. We have small children and our current mattress is older and stained as each child has grown up in the bed with us over the years. They unleashed a constant barrage of sexual remarks, jokes and innuendos about the mattresses condition. This violated my wifes dignity and forced her to leave the room to look for myself. These (2) deviants created an intimidating, hostile and offensive environment that my wife was shook as to what had just happened and she heard. The remarks they made were within ear shot of my small children as well. Upon re-entering the home the (2) two drivers where now leaving and my wife told me of the incident that had taken place. I immediately called NFM about what took place and "Mary" was more concerned with the mattress and not the solicitation or the sexual harassment that took place. I called every few days to get a resolution over the incident but was never provided anything. Today I was told the best NFM would offer was $120 refund and a $30 in store credit for the drivers actions.

      We purchased a dining room table and chairs. This was a higher priced table so we thought the quality would be better. We bought the extended warranty for any damage on the product. After 14 months of owning this furniture the top of the table started to flake color off and the side of the table. The laminate started to peel. We submitted a claim approximately 45 days after noticing this and we turned it into the extended warranty. The extended warranty declined to cover the damage because the claim was not submitted within 30 days. Nobody explained that we had 30 days to call for coverage. Nebraska furniture mart is not standing behind their product or warranty. We had the same problem with lifetime warranty flooring with NFM. We will no longer purchase anything from this company.

      We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Feb 2021. We were told it has 10yr warranty while buying. With in 3years we noticed the bed is sagging and result of it we undergoing bad back pains. When we contacted NFM, they asked us to contact Tempur-Pedic as its their product and NFM cannot do anything about this. When contacted Tempur-Pedic, they mentioned because we are not using Tempur-pedic suggested base, we are experiencing these issues with mattress. While buying, no one from NFM mentioned us it is mandatory to use Tempur-Pedic suggested base only. We trusted NFM, so bought it in the store. NFM should have informed us about specific base to be used. Now its like we wasted $3699 on this mattress.
