Let me start by stating I have never heard of this company, purchased products or merchandise from them, or placed orders over the phone or via the internet. Recently I received a letter from a debt collection firm named Brown and Joseph, LLC stating I owed Oriental Trading Company for the amount of 287.28 for a fraudulent charge that I never placed that was delivered to my house. The debt collection firm stated I needed to contact Oriental Trading Company to have them resolve the issue. Due to the order being fraudulently it fell off my account; I also never received an order number or invoice. So now a year later they have this debt collection company trying to collect this amount that is erroneous and a result of someone else stealing my card information. TI have contacted this company four times, two of the four times they have stated they would return my call to which they have defaulted on. Do not do business with this company. Every time they say they are going to speak with their "collections department" area I am on hold for over 15 minutes and no one returns to the line.

As many of the complaints on here, I too was appalled to see that I was being charged $14.95 each month for the last 19 months. I made a one time purchase back in Nov of 2022 and did not realize that they were continuing to charge me $14.95 for the next 19 months. When I called to inquire and have my money refunded, I was told I could only get back 6 month due to company policy. When I asked to have the policy emailed to me, I was told they cannot send me the policy. I asked for a manager and was told I would get a call from the escalation department within 72 hours. I did not sign up for any rewards mbrshp because I knew this was only a one time purchase. As stated by previous complaints, this was a shady way of scamming customers. I can only imagine the millions of dollars they have accumulated by running this scam.

I purchased items in September 2023. I just recently noticed I have been charged every month since $14.95. I called and was told this was their rewards program. I have signed up for rewards before and have never been charged for that. I’m very disappointed and called to get this canceled. I told them this was very deceiving and never was offered anything until I asked for some sort of refund. She said 4 months was the best she could do. I will take that but really should have gotten a full refund and definitely shouldn’t have to ask for it. They should have offered. I will never use this company again.

I, as I have also learned like countless others, have been charged a monthly membership of $14.95 without my knowledge. Apparently during check out of my purchase, OTC will pop an advertisement of $10 cash back. However, that's when you're signing up for a membership that you may not know about due to the very small print. They have collected $388.70 from me. I was unaware of the charges as it shows up as a grocery transaction on my bank account. I called and cancelled my account immediately upon discovery. They only issued 6 months worth, $89.70. What a shady, dishonest way of doing business. I will not be purchasing from OTC again.

I’ve been starting to use the company but have run into numerous issue issues. My daughter ordered a headband and they decided to try and keep the funds of $2.64. I’ve contacted them about 15 separate times and they finally only just remove the 26 days later I’ve contact customer service and like oh you have to go to accounting so I go to accounting no one answers and they show me we have more people right in the email that will respond to your request about Being removed, no one bothered to answer. There’s no way to send feedback to them directly to show that they are fraudulent and a scam. Their business practices are unacceptable. Items are really poor quality and expensive crayons break they’ve sent posters that they said to come flat, they came folded up and I’ve always had to do a claim with every single order. Sometimes they get merchandise certificates, but They wanna do that instead of giving you a refund also does not respond to email at all. I’ve sent numerous emails to different departments. I’ve called them several times spoken to a different people and one person yesterday. I was like sorry I could not assist and abruptly left the chat , give you flyers as your package flyers vouchers they said junk mail even though they’re trying to be green company but they use so much plastic that it’s so much throw away when you they don’t often ship when they’re supposed to respond to email about items suddenly one day when I was using the company frequently because I thought it was good. They suddenly stop , they suddenly ghosted me. They said oh every person that I’ve spoken to. I’ve spoken to pretty much every customer service representative. None of them were willing to take the charge off so like that to go to accounting so you have to contact Paypal they should come off within 3 to 5 days and then I talk to another rep later I’m sorry that 710 days now. Sorry you have to go through Paypal , lotta loop poles just to get your money back. It’s fraud

I placed my original order on 3/12 for my Christian Easter products and they informed me I had a issue with my card. So I called back spoke with a representative even paid expedited shipping. I was advised my order will arrive on Friday 3/29 ( since they do not deliver on the weekend) It was late Friday afternoon I contacted customer service via chat on their website for a ETA to be advised that the company CANCELED my order and FAILED to inform me that was order was Canceled. This was Highly unprofessional and dissapointing.

SCAM!!! They will trick you into "saving" $10 on your order, just to secretly in fine print sign you up for their "club"... Club fees are $14.95/ month... SCAM! Stay away!!!

I order airplanes with valentines designs, like the kinds you win at the arcades except these are half the size. and I order valentines note books, it about 1 inch by 1 inch, what kind of note book is that. I spent 30 on everything and now I have to find other stuff. It's all trash
