  In the summer of 2021 we (my wife and I) signed a contract to have a pool built by Staycation pools (Kori ****). After multiple delays and problems the pool was finally finished by the fall of 2021 and I stopped hearing from Kori because they didn't install a ladder that was added during construction and charged for. I asked her several questions via text and she stopped responding altogether as it seems that she blocked my number because I couldn't call her anymore. Last year, summer of 2022 we finally started using the pool and after my first electrical bill for the summer arrived I realized that the electricity consumption was extremely high (over $*** compared to an average of $*** during the summer) This made me look into the pool pump consumption and then I noticed that the pump that Staycation pools installed was a ******* ********* SINGLE SPEED pump, and NOT the VARIABLE SPEED pump stated in the contract signed with Staycation. I tried calling and texting Kori **** again but seems that she still has me blocked, *** ** * *** ******* ******** ** ******** ***** **** ********** *** **** ********* I proceeded to contact her through ******** *********. I wrote about my issue and that she replied back that someone named "Chris" would contact me the second week of May (2023) to get things resolved, which for me means to have the pump replaced with the one listed in the contract (a variable pump speed worth about $*****). I never heard back from this "Chris" person and I contacted her yesterday 5/16/23 asking about an update on this, to which she replied last night with the following ******* **** **** *** ******* *** ***** *** *** ******* *** ** *** ****** *****. We are closing the doors." At this point and based on previous untruth responses from Kori ****/Staycation, I have little faith that they will make good on their contract, but I want this complaint to exist so any new potential customers are aware of their ***** business practices because when I was being billed during construction they charged me several times extra for things I had already cover. I want to note as well that the electrical company that installed the control panel for the pump contacted me a couple months after construction asking for payment because Staycation still hadn't paid them for their completed electrical job. I sent them copies of my payments to Staycation and the contract showing that I had paid Staycation for that already. They didn't contact me again but I don't know if Staycation ever covered their cost. Attached are the contract listing the Equipment, which includes a ********** MultiSpeed pump, as well as pictures of the Single-speed pump that was installed. Also included is a copy of my chats through ******** ********* with Kori ****.
