Hired and paid Jesse from Reliable masonry fox our chimneys and replace the caps in November 2022. We paid in full and he placed a temporary cap on one because he had to order a cap to fit. He did not contact us for over 6 months. We reached out many times by Facebook and voicemail. He has responded a few times with excuses but no action.Initial Complaint

On Fri Oct 7th, 2022, Jesse F***** of Reliable Masonry and Chimney came out to my property in ********** NH to give me a quote on installing a stainless steel chimney pipe. On Oct 27, 2022, a friend lent me the money for the deposit that Jesse wanted to do the job. And a check was sent in The amount of $2000, which Jesse then cashed. At this time he then told me he should be able to install them next week. On Nov 6, 2022 he told he he would be there on Thurs or Fri of the following week. On Friday, Nov 11, 2022 he told me he would come to do the work on Mon Nov 14, 2022. On Nov 13, 2022 I message Jesse to check to see if he was still coming to do the work on Mon the following day. He then started making several excuses. (which I have all of them on text) one of which is that he did not have the parts needed for the job when a month ago he claimed he needed the deposit because he ordered the parts and was being charged for them already. But he still did not even show up at my property. Nor did he ever produce ANY of these parts he claimed to have ordered. This banter went back and forth for several days at which time he threatened me several times that he was going to press charges on me or has contacted the police on me for various reasons which did not even make any sense and I know not to be intimidated by. Bottom line is here we are DECEMBER 3rd, 2022, and I’ve asked him repeatedly to send me a picture of the cashiers check he claimed to have sent me on NOV 25, 2022 and I have yet to receive a picture OR the actual check to this date. Only threats from Jesse F***** when I try to contact him about the matter of returning my deposit. I have gotten no where. Jesse F***** appears to be a thief. The public is at and should beware!Initial Complaint

I paid $1975 to Jesse F***** for a brick hearth and chimney bracket. I paid him in cash, he left without giving me a receipt. After he left my flooring contractor pointed out many, many flaws with the hearth. The next day a brick fell off. Jesse had promised me a beautiful and safe hearth. I contacted him and he admitted it was a rushed job, needed work and would fix it. Now he won't return my calls. I had a brick mason with over 40 years experience come look at it and was horrified. The mortar joints are grossly uneven, they get thicker as you go up the wall. They all need to be rejointed, in some areas there is so little mortar I can fit my finger between the bricks. The hearth will most likely eventually crumble. There are many spots that are not level or straight. The drywall around the hearth is ruined by sloppy mortar and there are gaps between the hearth and the wall, which was cut unevenly. The entire hearth needs to be demolished.
