Autofair Hyundia dealership does not list anywhere on the website there is a 3K market adjustment price on the car. You only find out after the test drive and decide to purchase the vehicle. The 3K market adjustment is mandatory if you wish to purchase the vehicle. If had known about this upfront we would have not come into the dealership. This is nothing more than greed and bad business practices and should be fine for it, and Hyundia Corporate should do something about it. I will spread the word online to avoid this dealership for buying a new car. Hyundia Corporate needs to sell its car online to customers directly.Autofair Hyundai

Our website inventory listings include the following disclaimer: "The advertised price does not reflect the final selling price. It does not include sales tax, vehicle registration fees, finance charges, documentation charges, market adjustments, dealer installed options, and any other fees required by law. We attempt to update this inventory on a regular basis. However, there can be a delay between the sale of a vehicle and the update of the inventory. Pricing and availability may vary based on a variety of factors, including options, manufacturer employee pricing, specials, fees, and financing qualifications. The estimated selling price that appears after calculating dealer offers is for informational purposes, only. You may not qualify for the offers, incentives, discounts, or financing. Offers, incentives, discounts, or financing are subject to expiration and other restrictions. See dealer for qualifications and complete details." In addition to this, our staff is instructed to provide pricing when asked, not before or after the drive, but when asked. A dealership may sell a vehicle for more or less than MSRP at their discretion and there are certain models right now that we are retailing at a price over MSRP due to the availability and supply and demand within the marketplace.Review fromSarah

1 starI went to this dealership based on the online price listed for a specific stock #, only to be told that there is a 3k market adjustment on the car after the test drive. Additionally the salesperson told me certain features were not available, when the online ad information stated it was. I was mislead by the online ad and the vehicle was falsely advertised. If I had know that there was an additional 3k tacked on, I would not have wasted my time. Very disappointing.Review fromBrian L

Bought a new car from autofair Hyundai. And now 3 weeks later my trade in is still not paid off. I consider this bad business practice and makes one not be a repeat customer. Thanks for ruining ones credit.Autofair Hyundai

Good morning,
Thank you for making us aware of the concerns. We made an attempt to payoff your vehicle on 12/6. Wells Fargo sent the check back due to an increase of a fee tied to your account at Wells Fargo. Rather than just attempt to accept the money and bill for the additional, they returned the entire check. The check was sent again on the 12th of the month and, as of yet, Wells Fargo has not acknowledged the check. However, the funds are in route.
The good news is that your credit will not be damaged until your loan is past due 30 days. Where you traded the vehicle in on the last weekend of November you will not be exposed to any damage to your credit until 30 days has expired. Our office is aware that it needs to be paid off and are doing what they can to get the loan paid off.
Please feel free to reach out to me when you have a chance. My direct line is ************ or ********@autofairhyundai.com

Merrickliz7 I purchased a 2014 Volkswagen from this dealer in August. I told them I would not make the purchase unless a full inspection was done in the vehicle . They slapped a sticker on it . Sure enough 1 month later the car was making horrible noises after driven 700 miles . I bring the car to Volkswagen Seacoast . They verified the car should not have been given a sticker as the rear brakes are rotted with rust and are pulsating and many more things. I called and told them it’s against the law to put a sticker on a vehicle that should have failed inspection. Now they want me to drive 40 miles so I can have it re inspected by Auto Fair only ( so they can say it would pass inspection) . The car is so unsafe to drive I asked them to tow the car and needed to fight for that . We now have a service bill of over 3,000 in order for this car to be on the road safely . Instead of saying you know what that sounds dangerous and we are responsible for our dealership to not have left the car leave the lot .. they fight me so I can sit here and worry about something they should have never sold in the first place . No trust at all and am completely overwhelmed by how they do not treat you like a human for a 10,000 car sale . Do not trust this place to give you a sticker on a used vehicle as they clearly do not care about a 16 year old’s safety . They would rather pull you through you through the ringer and make your life harder than it already is . Thanks for the free tow ???!!!! Unless this vehicle is taken back or fixed they get a -0 for customer care and safety! After calling the department of motor vehicles they may get their license pulled as I am clearly not the only customer with this complaint .Elizabeth M

After fighting. Adam on Friday , after I told him several times I did not feel safe driving this vehicle 40 miles away he finally agreed to tow it. Sure enough Autofair of Volkswagen confirmed the car should not have passed inspection and needed to replace the sticker after making two cheap repairs instead of new rotary they cut the rotors ! So they did make a big mistake by passing this vehicle just to sell a car ??! Contacted *******************@dos.nh.gov Who was very helpful and in agreement that this dealership will be investigated.Brining this vehicle back to Seacoast VW to see if it will still pass inspection and even if it does according to DOS the law was broken and the dealership should have indeed took the car back . This is only the beginning of a battle. You could have just done the right thing Adam but chose not to … The ATTNY GENERAL agrees as well . Treat people as you would treat your own family . You should all be ashamed of yourselves and if you’re not embarrassed now you will be within the next 2 months !Autofair Hyundai

This vehicle passed state inspection through our shop prior to the retail sale. We disagree that anything was done incorrectly or illegally. An item like a rear coil spring can crack at any time, especially on New England roads and with a significant change in climate as we have seen in the past month. We cannot realistically say that has not happened since you took possession of the vehicle. Rust building up on rotors is a natural occurrence that takes place over time, having the vehicle parked outside, or not doing daily driving, can cause this. An additional month after purchase can be enough time to get buildup on the rotors. We serviced these items as a show of goodwill following the purchase and expect that this will resolve the matter in full. Furthermore, the complainant is not the purchaser or registered owner of this vehicle.Elizabeth M

This is unreal! How dare you stand by a state inspection sticker after 800 miles were put on a vehicle and the rotors were rotted !! You are absolutely in the wrong and broke the law . Autofair will be paying big time for the lies you tell yourself ! Do the right thing and own up to not taking care of a customer . Wait until you hear from the ATTN General before telling me a law was not broken . Don’t forget , every complaint here is regarding the same thing you did to me . You are untrustworthy, deceiving and I am not your only victim . Instead of being honest you are fighting a customer on a 10,000 vehicle . Adam is the most dishonest, disgusting human being I have ever spoke to in my life . You are all going to be losing a job because of being dishonest and uncaring . See you in court !Review fromBrittanie S

This ENTIRE encounter has been an absolute DISASTER!! Do yourself a favor and RUN far away from this place and it`s employees. I`m not sure whats worse but you`re welcome to decide; from a complete lack in an customer service from sales people, or the fact that they like to take your money and dodge you for over a week, the fact that they sell you a car they claim to service but really just gave it a nice vacuuming, maybe the fact that they do the bare minimum three days after purchase to hold you over so it`s not a them problem, could be the lack in decency or knowledge from anyone in the entire company never mind dealership, maybe its the fact that you have 2 warentees at 60 and 100 thousand miles then 3 months later less than 10,000 miles added and at 40,000 miles after spending 22 thousand your check engine light starts blinking (engine misfire) and you`re told to drop or tow it to them and can wait the 3 weeks to have it looked at since they can`t just claim it`s a warentee issue, and maybe even the fact that you go back and search with your original paperwork to see that they supposedly fixed that EXACT engine code (which was a recall starting engine fires) in a month they didn`t even have ownership of said vehicle nor did it come up for the cars previous owners blue-link info and to top it off dated for the year 0001?!?! And add to it the fact that two weeks after giving all my personal info to this exact company and employees I end up loosing ALL social media accounts, personal info including social security number, social and personal email accounts, and continuous harassment from "someone" for the last few months just two weeks after initial issues occurring. To say it`s a crap show is a nice way of putting this entire situation!Autofair Hyundai

Was told prior to a Friday visit that "vehicles were available on the lot", arrived to find no vehicle matching our request in sight but was promised one was arriving that afternoon. Went through sales paperwork and placed $5000 down on vehicle. Vehicle did not arrive but was again promised it would be in the next day as it was on the way. Next day no vehicle arrived but guaranteed is would be there Monday morning. Monday morning, no vehicle was present but if we could wait another month there would be one. We asked to cancel the contract at this time then and return our money, they said it wasn't a problem whatsoever, their focus is customer service. It's been a couple weeks, my money has yet to be returned to me and my calls have not been returned - basically I'm being ignored it appears. Quite shameful as an organization that wants to tout they're "veteran owned" as we're an active duty military and veteran. They're essentially looking like a fraudulent organization at this point.Autofair Hyundai

Good morning,
We are sorry for the difficulties that you've had with your deal's cancelation. Please reach out to our office manager, Lyna, at phone number ************. She is in need of receiving the number of your debit card in order to transmit the refund of your funds back to you.
In regards to the validity of the arrival date of the vehicle you ordered the salesperson's text messages showed that the vehicle was expected on Monday 7/11 and that he would inform you if the vehicle did arrive. He never contacted stating that the vehicle had arrived. The family came in for delivery on Monday morning and were told that the vehicle was delayed, as shipping across the industry has been very slow. Your family expressed that they wanted to cancel the transaction. The vehicle arrived 7/13, but you no longer wanted to take delivery and we allowed for the contract to be cancelled.
Additionally, I've been informed by my finance director, Matt Jimino, that he communicated with you on Thursday 7/21 and, again, on 7/25.
Please give Lyna a call at ************ and she will be happy to refund your deposit.
Again, I am sorry that your experience was less than perfect and we will be eager to resolve your concerns.

1 starI wanted to buy a vehicle so I called AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester NH. They said the vehicle was there and available so Thursday I set up an appointment for Friday 7/15/2022. I received an email confirming my appointment and vehiclewas still there and available. I also sent in my trade information and got my trade value offer back by email. We left Friday morning at 6am to go to AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester NH. It's a 4hr ride for us. At 9am we are almost there and I get an email to say the vehicle is there and still available but they have a $5000 market adjustment fee to the vehicle. Now I find out it's going to be $5000 more over listing price no mention of this on the phone or in confirmation email when appointment was set up. This information might of changed my mind on purchasing but by now I'm almost there. So I thought we could discuss this. We get to AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester NH and the first salesperson at the first desk takes my information after I tell him I have an appointment for said vehicle he goes to talk to someone else comes back and says I'm sorry but that vehicle sold 5 minutes ago. What are you kidding me!!! By now I'm not very happy and if your going to lie to me you should come up with a better one, or just tell the truth that you thought you would try to sell me something else if you got me in there. I just want people to know how dishonest AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester NH and they lie. People read the reviews and ask about hidden fees although they probably won't tell you all of them. It cost us $68 in gas and tolls no apology from management, or the woman that set up appointment, no reimbursement of gas just the shaft. The salesperson at the desk did apologize but he didn't know anything until we walked in. Thank you to him. If you treat other potential customers like this it's a sad way to do business. **Review fromT. M.

Autofair Review Look, I get it, the world is on fire and buying anything right now, let alone a car, is likely not going to be a great experience. I began searching for a car with this in mind, so my expectations were pretty low from the start. I figured if I set the bar just low enough, even a mediocre dealership could easily rise above it. I chose Autofair Hyundai for the simple fact that there were no other dealerships within 100 miles that had allocations for the limited trim of the Accent. I assumed that if they were able to get a decent inventory from Hyundai in the current market, there must be a good reason. I sent an email and set up an appointment to check out the car. Thus began the slow decline of my car buying experience. The salesperson assigned to me, on multiple occasions, referred to his coworker as “that blonde pregnant chick”, which was a bit unsettling. He also tried to up-sell to the Venue by lying about the fuel efficiency, claiming it has the same mpg as the Accent despite the actual ratings on the window stickers. After test driving the Accent, I was sure I wanted to buy. The salesperson came back with the numbers for financing and I noticed that the base price was more than $3,000 over the sticker price. Upon bringing this up with the salesperson, he assured me that “… that’s just the total with taxes and fees. If I could sell an Accent for that much I would be driving an even nicer car”. I stupidly believed that line and proceeded to sign the credit app with that price locked in. It wasn’t until the financing manager was giving his spiel about the extended warranty and such that I noticed that the $3,000 above the base price did not include “taxes and fees” but was just flat out price gouging. Just wanting to be done with the whole situation, and since I did still want the car, I completed the paperwork. I do appreciate the financing manager staying a bit late to finish the paperwork. Though it’s slightly bittersweet, as it was justAutofair Hyundai

Good afternoon,
We have read your review and we can assure you that the experience that you are conveying is not the experience that we, as a management team, would hope to be providing to our clientele.
Your choice to come to AutoFair Hyundai was not a wrong choice. We are a large dealership because the great majority of our customers do not share an experience that is similar to yours. The wrong person at the wrong time can mean a world of difference. We are reviewing others' experiences with this particular salesperson and we will look to decide if he fits the culture that we wish to convey.
I am sorry that your experience has not met the expectations that you hoped to have for your recent purchase. We can tell that you are a discerning customer, but you are not asking for the world. You want civility, understanding, and compassion in your transaction and want to be respected as a buyer.
The proper explanation for our Market Adjustment pricing is as follows: The inventory shortage world wide has caused values of vehicles to inflate beyond what they once were. In the current market climate some preowned vehicles are valued higher than their current model year brand new equivalents. Those who have these vehicles expect the types of value being reported by various used pricing guides. If vehicles are worth more used, than they are sold for new how would a dealership then, in turn, resell the used car with pricing that is higher than their brand new vehicles. The answer is that they couldn't do so if the equivalent new product is on the market. Additionally, the economics of supply and demand come into play. If there is an amount of demand for a product that exceeds its' supply, then prices inflate. We are experiencing this phenomenon currently.
That aside, we do not want you to feel as though you are trapped. If you do not feel that this transaction was fair we would like to offer you the opportunity to sell the vehicle back for what you paid for it. We are sorry that your experience was not up to our standards and we hope that this offers you the chance to start fresh if you so desire.
We do want to thank you for choosing AutoFair Hyundai and we hope that you understand we are taking corrective action to ensure that this does not happen to others.
Sincerely,
Kevin R*********
