      November of 2022 I contacted SMTN about a campground membership I had and if they could sell it for me. I was told they could and that they have been selling the specific one constantly at around ****** and I should set my price at around ******. I was sent a contract that said timeshare so I contacted the sales rep back and she assured me it was the same as campground membership. After a year and contacting them several times along with lowering the price to ***** I had no hits on my listing. Not even one person looked at it. I then found out that none of the memberships of travel resorts of america were selling and all the prices were listed lower than mine. Shortly after Christmas of 2023 I was able to reach a senior manager who told me that the last one to sell was almost 3 yrs ago and it was for 500. She said she would escalate the matter and see about getting as much of the 899 refunded as she could due to the deception their sales rep used. I again reached out in February of 2024 and spoke to another senior manger who told me if I didn't like it then I could *** them for the money.

      7/7/2023- I put my time share for sale with sell my timeshare now. with ***************************. He informed me of the maintenance protection program to get my fee back. I paid extra for this plan. He also told me that the closing costs were in my price and ad fee. I thought that it cost a lot. He told me he would not take my timeshare if he thought that he could not sell it. I put the payment on my credit card. I paid the amount. Since July 2023, no one contacted me about my time share, which I did not like. Also, I had to call several times to ask what is being done with all the money I paid and they told me to wait a few months. They told me that each time I called. I want to sell my time share before I have to pay another year of maintenance fees. I talked to ****** about the maintenance protection plan and she informed me that I had to book the stay for the week I had and they would get someone to use it. I could not get this year, so I booked it for 2025 the week of Feb. 7-15th. She told me they would call me when they got someone. I called recently and she was no longer there. I talked to someone else and she told me I had to Pay to renew $149 every July to be in the program. I told her I sent all of my paperwork to ****** and she said you have to renew and send it again. This is so frustrating to me that I paid so much money and now I have to pay more to get my maintenance fee back. It' a run around and I feel like they are getting money from people and not doing the job of selling the timeshare. They sent me no papers to tell me what I paid for. That is shady to me.

      I purchased maintenance fee protection and was told my fees would be reimbursed to me. There was a fee for guest name change fee and it was supposed to be reimbursed to me along with the maintenance fee but it wasn't. It's been like pulling teeth trying to get reimbursed! Their customer service is horrible! They oversell you but once they get the sell they don't support. It takes so long to get an ad revised and the original ad took days to put up so by that time it's too late to back out once I realized they oversold me on the idea my timeshare would go for higher than I thought! Now my ad has been sitting for months and no inquiries.

      Transaction was September 25, 2023. I am writing requesting a refund of ORDER NUMBER: ****** in the amount of $3,498. Since signing up I have been under-serviced and nothing has been delivered as promised. I emailed to give them a chance before contacting BBB. I received no reply.On September 25th, I entered into Sell My Timeshare Now, under the premise of my timeshare being sold and being reimbursed for my monthly maintenance fees. *********************************, the Executive Consultant, was in frequent and constant communication with me since August 28th before I signed up. He was consistently reassuring me that I was in prime time of selling my timeshare using SMTN.***** advised me of what a reasonable price would be for me to list my timeshare due to the fact of what others sold for recently of my equivalent vacation weeks. He informed me that SMTN recently sold ones (during the month of September 2023) for more than what I was planning and that they had about the same amount of weeks left on their timeshare. ***** also informed me that he sold a couple of timeshares that was only on the market since the middle and end of August. He was very confident that mine can "idealistically" sell in 30 days, however 60 days will be more realistic.During the next 60 days ***** was more and more unavailable. Telephone was our normal and easy way of communicating, but I was constantly getting his voicemail and he wouldn't return my messages. December 4th, I sent an email complaining about my disappoint and how difficult it is to get in touch with you guys. The last communication I received at the time was a phone call saying sorry we missed your call, please give us a call back during our normal business hours. That was on October 13th!SMTN claims they call me by using a number I never provided them at the time of sign up. It's an old house number from 2007. They always call this number and outside of my times of availability that was given. They are intentionally avoiding me.

      The company is supposed to help me sell my timeshare via a website but it appears the website is bogus and useless. Im supposed to be able to accept offers but there is no way for a potential buyer to make an offer.

      I feel this company is using deceptive practices to earn people's business and get them to committ to using the service. Also a sales person *********************** made different offers and price quotes to me for "full service with maintenance fee guarantees" and is retracting offers and trying to say the company charges more for maintenance fee guarantee. This is total deception. I'm a business man and I also work in sales and her bait and switch tactics are illegal and they should not be able to do this and not be held accountable. I attached an email that quotes the price and the fact that it included everything!!

      I contacted SMTN to list my timeshare under the guise that they were the best place with the most success to do so. They asked that I pay roughly $3000 up front and this was solely for the marketing and management of the ad. They told me my time share was a hot one that lots of offers had been put in on in the last 30 days. In fact they had several clients looking for a spot at our resort so ours should be sold quickly. They said it could take up to ***** days. They seemed very straightforward but I feel I have been misled. The company gives no follow up after the payment has been made. I asked them to edit our add because they had incorrectly set the unit as a 1 bedroom when it's a 2. They never made this change and have not followed up once in the last month in a half. I have found out that this company aims to scam those that have already been scammed by a timeshare in the first place. Do not use them. Sell it yourself on *************** or any other site but this one.

      Paid Sell My Timeshare Now up front in May 2021 (first mistake) with guarantees they would be able to find a buyer for my ************* membership through El Cid. Almost 3 years later I've received 3 *probably* fake inquiries (there is no information about the inquiry other than they did not result in an offer). The first one was right at the 60 day **** to make it look like they would sell it and not to cancel. In November 2023 I was contacted by an "outside" company to offer to get me out of my membership by paying them MORE money.

      Good Evening, I contacted SMTN, for mostly information, the aggressive salesman told me I had 10 days to change my mind, if I was to list my timeshare with him, however I called to cancel less than 24 hours, after I talked with the salesman, my phone calls are being ignored, so what can I do if anything, my husband and I are not travelling very much anymore, we are 76 and 78, where can I get help. Please

      Good Afternoon,  my email is not working properly.  So I hope my email goes through. I heard from the SMTN  administrator department, According to them, they said the money that is owed to me, supposedly they are going to refund me.  They said to wait another 2 days.  So they are responding to my calls.

      Good Afternoon, thank you for you response, I have contacted SMTS, at least 20 times. I was told by several employees, that the money, would be in my account, the next day or so, and I still have"nt received it yet, I am getting excuses that they are having problems with my account, I called my Bank, and they assured me my account was ok. I called again yesterday, they told me the day before ( Thursday ) that my money would be in my account Friday, ( I am still waiting )  Thankyou for your help.
