I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: I contacted the BBB about issues I had having with them.  Ovoisly I dont have privacy concerns with them as I have asked them to help with the horrific service at your bank.   No appologies, no reversal of the $200 you charged me to find your errors.   If I had taken the advice of ***** as stated in emails I would be filling for a new loan with you    Your bank did zero dilliage in helping untill I sent ***** a copy of my credit report with the loan already present on it.  I have been told the loan is squared away now.    I hope to refinance this with another bank or pay it off quicker to avoid dealing with HRCU in the future.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

      Complaint: 21372998

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because:   I was charged a service fee for this loan of $200 when I signed up.     I would not have accepted paying you this fee if I knew it would result in me needing to spend hours and hours and over 30 emails to correct not only your errors but my credit.    If you look at the first 18 emails with HRCU it is me attempting to explain to them I already have a loan in my name     It took close to 20 emails and a print out of my credit report before I actually got any help.    No you didnt charge me an additional charge for fixi by your error.   I dont know if that what you think is a favor to me or some sort of great deed.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

On 11/7 I applied for a consolidation loan. The loan was approved. During the document process I had pointed out a couple things that weren’t correct in information. A complete disregard to what I was saying. I complied with what the bank needed. 11/8 I logged into docusign, which did NOT allow me to properly review the contents of the contract as it was automatically skipping to the next signature line. When I saved the contract and opened it, you can only imagine my surprise that it was 29 pages long. I went through the contract and immediately sent a message over to the bank. The amounts being paid were incorrect, the loan payment amount was incorrect, and the total loan amount was incorrect. 11/9 after the associate “apologized” for the “mistakes” ended up DENYING the loan! They didn’t even ask if I wanted to add my husband to the loan (he’s on the current loan that o was refinancing “ they just flat out denied and washed their hands of the entire transaction! No THEY screwed up! Not me! This is a consolation I NEED! I’ve never once been late with HRCU! Ever! This entire transaction needs to be addressed and fixed. Immediately

This was submitted FOUR MONTHS ago and youre NOW responding? Is this some kind of sick joke?
Many consumers review the BBB prior to conducting business with bank and other establishments.

One would think a bank would have responded a lot sooner than 4 months.
This certainly shows this banking institution has gone ****.

      Sincerely,

I’ve had a car loan with HRCU for a few years with autopay set up, and have never had trouble making payments on time. In December we were moving funds around for the holidays and didn’t even realize a payment was missed. HRCU didn’t call me until the beginning of January to let me know about a missed payment, and as soon as they did I made both months payments that same day to get my account up to date. Come to find out though at the same exact time, they also hit my credit report, which I’ve been working to improve for over 10 years, with a 30-90+ day delinquency, that brought my credit score down 100 points. Then they told me on the phone over and over again that they won’t do anything to help me or reverse the delinquency, and the delinquency will be on my credit report for 7 years, all because of one late missed payment that I didn’t even realized I had missed and corrected immediately at the beginning of the next month as soon as they called me. If you’re looking for a bank to do business with, or just a place that will work with you and truly treat you fairly, don’t come anywhere near HRCU.

On December 6, member went delinquent on loan for December 5th due date. Mr. ************ made his December 5th payment via ACH using our digital banking system. That payment was rejected by the paying institution, Citi Bank for non-sufficient funds. The last payment on record for Mr. ************’s loan at HRCU was 11/9/2022.   We followed our normal operating procedures and mailed a delinquent letter to member’s address on file on 12/16/ 2022, 12/24/2022 and 1/1/2023. On 12/22/2022 we mailed a letter stating his account was being restricted due to loan delinquency.  On January 4th a call was placed to the member and a voice mail left.  On January 5th, a second call to the member was placed and he stated that he and his wife made online payments and it shows in process. These payments were initiated via the digital banking External Transfer (ACH) service. Prior to utilizing the service, the member agreed to the ACH terms and conditions, which state, “It may take up to three business days for an External Transfer you initiate to be received into your account.” Our representative also verbally informed him it may take a few days to process.  As of 1/5/2023, the funds had not been received in the account; the loan was 30 plus days delinquent and therefore reportable to the credit bureaus.  On 1/9/2023, the loan was made current with the payment of 452.25 received via an ACH file. When Mr. ************ brought this matter to our attention, it was fully investigated. We determined HRCU was not responsible for Mr. ************’s late payment.  In following the Fair and Accurate Credit Reporting Regulation, HRCU is required to report payments accurately, which we have done.
