I needed part of my back yard , and side yard graded for proper water run off. Steve wrote up a proposal $7750 plus Hydro seed on 4/3/2023 . His proposal was to grade the land put in swells to divert the water then put in netting then hydroseed. He came over the end of May and then changed the scope He now said i need 2 bee hive drains cost went up to $12000, I’m a disable veteran on a tight budget but he did not care, He dug up installed the beehives then i asked to use a laser level to run the drain pipe to ensure it was draining , He refused said i know what i’m doing . it did not work he had to tear all the drain pipe up and use a laser level . This was in the drain inside my fenced in area in back yard , He then brought in dirt again would not grade it with laser level . I also told him to pack the dirt down but he wouldn’t . on side yard he put in a beehive connected it yo bee hive in back yard . then he graded land again not using a laser level the drain was higher then all the land around it .He added dirt again would not pack it down and hydtoseeded , He completed it 6/3/2023 and then tried to go up on price again , third time i said no he wasn’t going to hydroseed so i said the mist i can go up is $500 that’s it i’m broke and he accepted it knowing he was ripping me off . He was here only 3 days i added up the cost of the beehives and pipe ( using home depot it was under $1000, he brought it $500 of dirt. First rain the whole side yard flooded 120’ long 60’ feet wide , i called him back he said don’t worry once the hydroseed grows it it will be perfect . he also said i will make sure i don’t walk away . Week it just got worse the swampy lake was here mist of the summer the weeds grew over 4 feet tall you could drive on it with lawn tractor or walk there as you sink in the lose dirt and mud , Steve the said let it dry out all the weeds Steve had excuses not to over then finally last week he said he’s sick and bankrupt and broke and he can’t help me
