I purchased a new Laser printer. The installation process was very poor!!Model: HL-L 2405W I have used Brother printers for decades. Always had a good impression of the operation and the installation. I still believe this will be a good printer, but the installation process was poor!!I followed the installation instructions, I ran the set-up application, and printed the test page. all was good. I attempted to print my first document nothing happened no print and no messages. I went through the entire set up process again same result. I went through the online diagnostics - no errors found but still no print. I searched the internet and found pages that stated that the Brother installation process does not change the printer that is in the systems setup you have to go into each application and change the default printer!! Then the application will print. I have been setting up printers to PCs for 40 years and have never had this much of a problem!Why does your install app not change the default printer in the applications on the computer?
