      Terrible customer service. I called with a question about a $30 label maker and they told me that it would cost $100 to answer my question! When I expressed outrage at it the customer service person hung up on me.

      I purchased a Brothers typewriter in 05/2023. This typewriter has a five year limited warranty. It stopped typing this month 03/25. I phoned the Brother's company for help. I received a phone call from one of their customer service representatives who tried solving the problem by phone instructions. When none of the instructions worked, the representative stated that it needed to be serviced and they no longer sell typewriters. I took it to a reputable company ************* in *******, IL for a diagnostic which cost me $35.00. They had it 3 days and I was told that it would cost around $500.00 to repair. I didn't pay that much for it. I believe that I should received a refund or they should pay to fix it. The typewriter has been used not more than 10 times since 05/2023. What can I do to be compensated? Please help!******* S

      If I could give them no stars at all I would. I have the Brother Skitch PP1 embroidery machine and trying to get a part number just for a replacement has been a complete and utter NIGHTMARE, and that is being nice about it! I called the customer service part center to see if I could place an order to get a replacement, she says if I don't have a part number, she would have to transfer me to the someone else to get the part number. She transfers me and the *** tells me I am going to have to contact an authorized dealer/service center to get the part number to then be able to purchase the part I called at minimum 11 different authorized dealers and NONE of them even know what the machine is. All of them are telling me that they would have to try to look it up but all of them sound like they wouldn't even know where to start to look up the part. They all have to ask me at least 3-4 times am I sure that is what the machine is called. It has been a complete and utter s*** show trying to simply get a part number!!! This is truly unacceptable because either way the machine itself is not cheap, yes it may be cheaper than other embroidery machines but still $500 is still a good deal of money to have NO HELP from the actual company that manufactured the machine.

      Like other reviewers, I'd rate Brother a negative 1000 in customer service. The first ***** *********************** laughingly calls them "ambassadors") put me through five troubleshooting steps before announcing that CYK toner cartridges THAT I PURCHASED FROM BROTHER are defective. Since I mostly printed in BW until now, I didn't notice the problem until after the preposterous 90 day warranty expired. That conversation took 60 mins. I waited another 30 mins for a supervisor, who was argumentative and decidedly unhelpful. SHe disgorged typical corporate ******** and when I asked for the address of Brother corporate to write a letter, she told me to look it up. What total a******* Pay the money for a **. These people are conniving idiots.

      I bought my first and last Brother product this summer. I have never been able to download the software needed for scanning. I was told that the MCF-L2820DW printer/copier made "thousands" of copies--much like a high volume printer. Try more like a few hundred, if that. It was nearly impossible to register it after I bought it, it took me four tries across several weeks. I will go back to ***** for all my needs in the future--starting now. And by the way, it must be on the darkest setting just to achieve a decent quality copy; that shouldn't be necessary.

      Worst customer service ever!!! Never ever buy a ********************** product! They are expensive and very finicky, breaks down often and their customer service is not trained or knowledgeable about the products or how to respectfully talk to customers. And to top it off, wait times are over 2 hours! I got hung up on twice after that long of a wait both times and after that the issue keeps being escalated to another agent for yet another 2 hour wait time. And round and round we go. A full day later and my printer still does not recognize the second paper tray! No solution so tomorrow we will have to start all over again! Very frustrating!

      If I could give a negative score I would. I've had an MJC J1205W for 4 years and have paid $10.86 a month for the ink subscription. In 4 years I received one black ink cartridge. The cartridges do last longer than regular ones but I ran out of color ink in all the color cartridges. With the subscription they were supposed to send you replacements before you were totally out. I am a disabled senior citizen who does not drive and cannot easily get around so that was perfect for me. When I let customer service know that I was completely out of color, I was informed their system showed I had 57% in left in all my cartridges. That the replacement was based on the number of pages you print, not the balance. So if you print a few high color resolution pages, you will basically not get another replacement until you print a certain number of pages. Now I am out of color, the printer is useless to me as I can't even print the number of pages to get the replacement sent. So I basically spent over $500 for one black cartridge. I purchased a new, different brand printer where I control the ink, and will NEVER use brother again. ******** customer service. I was basically told "too bad". I was in a no win situation. Expecting to pay for a printer I can't use and was told they had no way to correct or adjust on their end. All that "subscription" money wasted!

      I just bought it and I am returning it. the model number does not list for customer service, I thought it was a a recent model. I bought it at ************. cannot find a way to put letters with the wifi password. no help anywhere. If one wants to write a review for the brother printer, one has to pay $3.99/month to sign in and see reviews! this printer is going back to the store on monday

      This company has no respect for their customers. Faulty products and no support is their motto. I have a small business and bought a printer/scanner/fax machine, which of course does not work. Their support was next to none and very poor in their communication. They felt the "drum" was damaged and supposedly were sending replacements. We purchased said "fix" and of course after spending the $300 more, no fix, still same problem. Now, supposedly under warranty and will send a replacement, expedited. Still no printer. It has been 40 days since starting this customer support journey and I can honestly say DON'T BUY BROTHER!!!!
