I took my car to Audi for service about two months ago. There were significant repairs that needed to be made as the car couldnt drive without spitting out exhaust. They made the repairs and two days later I received another check engine light. I brought it back and they needed to do MORE repairs. One week later, another check engine light that led to more repairs! Now, I am trying to go complete state inspection, no lights or anything are on but I keep failing because the computer has not been reset as a result of the work they did. I called to talk through it with them and they wanted to charge me again to reset the computer even though that should have been a part of the package of initial work. The guy on the phone was combative and ******* me through the process. I want Audi to finish the job and not charge me even more to complete the reset they should have done initially.

I scheduled an appointment for 4/4/2024 for my 2007 Audi A4 in response to a recall notification. The recall stated the following:"The airbag in your 2007 Audi A4 sedan is part of an URGENT airbag safety recall. This can cause SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH." Please ask about FREE transportation options that *** be available to you when you schedule this FREE safety recall repair."Upon arriving I told the service technician I was aware this was a FREE replacement and was not authorizing any additional service to be performed on my car. He then began to explain the replacement of the airbag is covered, BUT if there were any electrical problems found with the car's inability to communicate to the computer that would not be covered. I left the dealership around 8:20 AM. I received a call at 3:15 PM from another service technician who told me my car was not completed. He said there is a problem with the computer not being able to communicate with the car (airbag) and it would require additional work. I told him I was in route to pick up the car, and to just put in the airbag. When I arrived at the dealership it was apparent NOTHING had been done on my car!!!! I immediately took my car to my local, TRUSTWORTHY mechanic who showed me on his computer there is absolutely no problem communicating with the car and in fact showed me the NO FAULT codes with the airbag!!!! I don't appreciate this dealership being deceptive and trying to take advantage of me. Needless to say I am still driving around with a dangerous recalled airbag.
