    Horrible company to purchase from, bought a a bedside for $900. Carrier damaged it and now its been 3 weeks with no refund. I keep calling and they keep giving me the run around.

    I ordered a part for a 2012 Prius but the part didn't fit. Turns out different parts were used on 2012 Prius vehicles but this wasn't clear from the website nor do they have a way to check vehice VIN to confirm "fitment." CarID will deduct their shipping cost and charge a restocking fee to my refund. I didn't know were in bankruptcy but it makes sense.

    DO NOT USE CARiD.com, you've been warned! This was my first and last experience with CARiD. On 4/10/2024 I bought a hood for a car of which they gladly took the money for. It took nearly 3 weeks and repeated phone calls before I actually received the hood on 4/29/2024. This hood is absolutely garbage and does not fit the car even in the least! It doesn't latch, the bolt holes don't line up, there is no hole for the hood stand, and this is made out of literal plastic. This hood was supposed to be pre-primed and ready to paint. There is absolutely no way you can paint this hood because of how much flex is in it even when you barely press down on it. After seeing the utterly appalling quality and fitment issues I immediately contacted CARiD to start the refund process. They sent me a list of pictures and videos to provide to prove the hood didn't fit and what its issues are, which is perfectly reasonable. So I sent their requested pictures and videos only to receive another email with even more pictures and videos to provide, which I did, only to receive yet another email with more requirements to provide! I have been playing this game for the past 2 weeks as of the time of this writing all so they can avoid giving me a refund!I have already started a dispute with PayPal and my bank to force the refund for this ridiculous hood. What they're doing to people is FRAUD and it's of little wonder they had to file bankruptcy in December of 2023.

    4/ 23/24 (Tuesday evening 9 PM)...I initially went online to purchase a rim for an Audi Q7, and then two hours later (11:00 PM) changed my mind and canceled the order via email. I received an email the next morning (Wednesday, 4/24/24) that my purchase was canceled and I would receive a refund on my credit card. Two days later (Friday 4/26/24), I received an email that the order had been shipped and I was not going to get a refund. Before I made the call to them, I looked up the credit card charge and they actually charged the credit card at 11:35 PM 4/25/24 or A DAY AND A HALF after their email explaining that my order was canceled. .So essentially they charged my credit card a day AFTER the order was verified (customer service email) to be canceled. When I called their **************** I was transferred to "*******" and he tried to say it shipped before they received my cancellation notification. (I had all the emails and screen shot of the US Bank CC and let him know I was disputing their BS) He then said he'd send a return label and wants me to ship it back and IF they receive it undamaged, it will take 9 days before I see a credit. Forget this type of company. They are not trustworthy. Stopped the CC charge from my CC company.

    Caution, this company uses deceptive marketing practices. Their website shows items sold in "kits" and uses pictures that show more items than what are included in the kit. They separately list what is included in the kit which may or may not include everything pictured. Their answer to this: "The pictures are only for reference, we list what's included." Deceptive practice. Be sure to read the description carefully and do NOT trust the pictures. You're out of luck if you don't read what's included carefully.

    Carid isn't a good company. I'm having problems with them right ************* labels. They ship the wrong Wheels to me. less than 3 days but shipping the Wheels back I haven't received the shipping labels. Do not do business with them. They are terrible

    In April of 2023, I purchased 4 Lumen SB5721XX-BLK 5 3/4 Round Black Projector LED Headlights for my '86 *** 325 from CarID, On their website, it states that these lamps will fit the following models: 318i, 320i, 325, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325iX, and M3. They included in Notes: This is a Special Order product and, therefore, Non-Returnable.I brought them to my ************* for the installation. He called me the next day to come in. He showed me (took the front grill off to expose the lamp-housing) how it would be impossible for the lamps to even fit my car's lamp-housing because the new lamps were too large.I contacted ***** twice about establishing a return, but they refused!CarID are sheisters. I don't know why, after ripping people off, they even have a business!

    This website is a scam! purchased a can of vinyl spray. Was $16, when I checked out it didn't show me any shipping costs. after I paid and received the invoice I noticed I spent $17 in shipping for one small can of spray! then when I received the can of spray, it was not even they one I ordered! I called customer service and they told me sorry no refunds! i asked to speak to supervisor they were unable to connect me. worst business ever.
