Back on March 28th 2024 we traded our Volkswagen ***** 2022 into ID4 2023 as it was a very good promotion from the government for electric cars. But we still got paid for Volkswagen ***** 2022 for April and May. When we call ************* certified Auto Leasing company we got the answer that we should still pay for the car because it was not paid off.So Volkswagen didn't pay off ***** on time and now on June 19th we got final notice from Leasing company that we have to pay off our car otherwise the vehicle return will be considered a voluntary repossession in 45 days after June19th. Volkswagen Freehold dealership doesn't want to to the right thing we agreed on and doesn't want to pay off the car we traded them in March 28th 2024. They scammed us and intentionally didn't give us the right papers at the time of signing the contract. We posted our case in media and were able to find other people scammed bby Volkswagen Freehold dealership in the same way. PLEASE help us force scammers to do the right thing.

On 11/27 I leased a 2023 VW Jetta from VW of Freehold. They took over my Kia ** and called *** ******* with me there to get the buyout, it was around 20K. I am getting collection calls still in February that no payment has been made on the car and the car is still in my name even though they took it over the night I left with the Jetta. I have called and called and emailed and left messages. Spoke to a *** once, he told me a check was cut to *** but it wasn't sent yet. We're now in Mid February and my credit score it going to take a huge hit for this. Also, I have called to advise that my temp plate is expired. Their DMV Rep ****** has a mailbox that is full so I am unable to even leave her a message. Unbelievable a delership is allowed to operate like this. I left them a 5 star reiew the day after I purchased the car. Today, I removed it from online. This is so unfair and likely illegal. *** holds the title to the car so they don't even have it to sell. Makes no sense for this ball drop. No one wins here.

Customers financed amount is the exact amount on contract. Customer is looking at interest charge over 6 years, with a high interest rate.

I leased a car from VW freehold in October 2023. As part of my lease agreement they purchased my *** X1 which was also a lease. They were responsible for paying *** freehold directly for the vehicle. As of today the payment is almost 90 days late. Twice VW Freehold sent the payment to the wrong place which has affected my personal credit score 67 points now. I have been requesting a letter for the credit bureau for a week with no resolution as well. Please contact me with any further questions.

Customer gave dealership wrong bank info delaying payoff. Payoff was sent to the correct bank. Signed documents by customer, with wrong bank info, which they provided to the dealership.

      Complaint: 21119241

I am rejecting this response because:

the information provided by VW is incorrect. They sent the payment to ******** twice when it was supposed to go to the dealership. It was explained to me when I drove to VW to get this resolved numerous times that the person who did this was fired. Once VW sent the check to *** it was the wrong amount. I only know that because I received the contact information of that person and they were waiting for a new check from VW. It was not until I got in touch with someone at *** and got the correct payoff amount on day 87 was the correct amount sent. Again I had to drive to VW to handle all of this myself so my credit would not take another hit on day 90. The car has been since paid off however the response VW provides as to why the payments were late is completely incorrect.

My husband and i leased A vehicle from freehold Volkswagen in August 2023 we turned in our Infiniti QX 50 and our sales person. ***** advised us that they would be taken care of the last two payments cost of the over miles and the wear and tear. This was all BS because now were receiving bills from infinity for $5000 saying that were responsible, for all the charges that ***** from Volkswagen promised us would be taken care of. I have called many times and have not received a call back from anybody stay far away from this place I will now be seeking legal action against them. They are crooks!!!!

      *********,

I remember this deal. There is no way we'd make a deal with the uncertainty of what the damages on there car would cost. We couldn't work an open-ended amount into a deal with not knowing the cost. Im not sure why they would think that was the case.

I am rejecting this response because:

Then explain to me why your sales associate, ***** took my car and returned it back to Infiniti after telling ** that he would cover the last two payments, and the over miles, and the wear and tear. You guys are crooks and scam artists. My husband asked ***** several times if he would be covering all of this, and ***** told my husband over and over again that everything would be taken care of.

As I previously stated it would be impossible for us to negotiate us covering something that was unknown such as damages and over mileage. I am not showing anything on the contract or buyers order showing we were covering anything. All of these legal documents are signed and dated by the customer. Unfortunately I do not have the authority to refund any money based on a he said/she said basis. This is why we have signed documents regulated by the ***********.

transaction happened 7/25/23 i paid the business $1500 for the down payment of my lease the business did not disclose full information about the leased electric ID4. The sales man dropped the cover to the charger area and damage it and cant find me antor cover. I have sensor issues with the vehicle and they claim its not under warranty and i am responsible for the issue . Second i was told i would have ****** miles per year and on the lease that they gave me two weeks after i got the car states **** a year, and the issues that i have been having at the charger towers owned by Volkswagon is extremely stress full. Towers in my living area are down and i have to drive ***** min to find a tower to charge car. the tower are located in the back of parking lots and I have been approached by strange men and i'm put in a situation that i have to fear if i'm going to be harassed or yelled at. I had reported this to Volkswagon customer care and they bought to my attention that i should be charging the car at home not to use the towers as a main source of charging. The dealership failed to tell me this information. I live in an apartment and can not install a tower nor can i afford that. They told me I can go to the charging station and i will receive free charger for 3 years. i have been led to false pretenses and i would of never leased the vehicle knowing all of this.

On 1/31/2023, I purchased a Ram **** and traded in a **** Ranger lease and was told the lease would be paid off. Almost 60 days later, the lease has not been paid off, and **** Motor Credit wants me to make the lease payments for the Ranger (which has been on the dealership lot since 1/31. The dealership has also been unable to get me permanent plates from motor vehicle, and has had to issue a second temporary as the initial one expired 3/1.
