My partner and I booked flights through Crystal Travel on Kayak.com. When we booked for the dates we wanted, we both received confirmations for dates that weren't the ones we booked. When we saw this (immediately), we called the "merchant" to resolve it (within 5 minutes) and were told the flights we booked were not available at the price we booked - and offered us another flight on a different airline for a different price. We didn't want this airline, but were told this was our only option. I have contacted my bank for a stop payment. Do not book through Crystal Travel. They also seem to be all over Kayak.com, which we have contacted to alert them to this fraud.

I wish I had read these reviews. I didn't and am stuck in a very frustrating experience. They purchased my ticket, told me ******** were assigned, but would not send the information. It feels so very sketchy every step of the way. A mistake to work with them.Review from Frankie C

I strongly recommend against booking with Crystal Travel. I submitted my information to book a ticket, they sent an email saying they would call to verify my payment.An hour passed, no phone call. I called their number, they said I needed to rebook. I check the rebooking, and the prices are $200 higher. Not transparent, they try to sneak extra fees onto you by default. Absolute scammers . Opened a dispute and they tell ********** whatever they want. They could refund me when I tried to cancel , then they never sent me my ticket and told ********** I was a no show at the airport . How would they know that information ? Scam artists at work. Scam. Never received my ticket, no email, no phone call. They never pick up the phone when I call or when ***** Fargo calls. Very surprised how bad this went. I canceled the charge. Luckily I bought a separate ticket after I saw their reviews. Someone needs to delete this company.Review from Hay K

I recently booked a flight with crystal travel via ******* I did zero research prior to, and booked with crystal because it was a tiny bit cheaper than other prices. And I trust ******* Most of my flights in the past have been booked with Travelocity so 3rd party sites have never been off putting. However, I did get a notification from my bank that when I booked my ticket they thought it was fraud (not sure why but weird). Then, I saw the reviews for crystal online and FREAKED OUT. Thats why Im writing this review for folks like me who need peace of mind. Despite the very negative reviews online, crystal booked my tickets at the price promised online and I was able to confirm my confirmation via the Alaska airline app. Like some reviews stated, they did contact me about booking my ticket home and asked me to consent to the charge but no price increase. I did and got my ticket. I will say when they called the number came up as spam and that was freaky. At the end of the day, crystal delivered what was promised and I made it to my destination and back with no issues. After all, if they scammed everyone, they wouldnt be in business. So if you are reading reviews and freaking out after purchase, I just want to let you know that I had zero issues with my flight confirmation and tickets. For crystal, they should fix that the phone comes up as spam and figure out why a bank would flag them as spam. Other than that, I had zero issues with crystal travel and Im happy I was able to visit my friend at a reasonable price.Review from Gianna H

As per the records, the booking was not confirmed due to the non-availability of seats with the same fare. However, we always make sure that we don't charge anything from the passenger's card if we cannot honor the reservation.In certain situations, we can always offer an alternate option to the passenger as per his preference.
