      I had my taxes done in the ***********, ** office and that went fine, however, I am taking care of my deceased Mother's taxes and have been getting the run around from the *********, ** office. They are only open on ******************** and the next appointment is in November. Who in the world conducts business like this. They have no business charging me if they can not fulfill their obligation and complete my mother's taxes. I wanted to let others know how this company conducts business.**************

      Had my taxes done on Jan 31st. I am retired with SS, state retirement & military retirement w/no exceptions. Past 3 years it took 30 min to do my return. Thus year over 2 hours, preparer was not properly trained & had difficulty entering data. After 2+ hours, she was unable to connect the card reader to the computer. I had to drive home & get my checkbook to pay her. I asked her if she needed the routing # to my credit *********** said no, I looked it up. 2 weeks later, *** says they received my return. 2 more weeks & they said it was processed. 2 more weeks & theybsaid they were unable to make electronic deposit. Routing # she entered was for some credit union in ******! After I complained to regional manager, he said I would be refunded the $160.00 I paid. That was a month ago. & now when I leave a message all I hear is crickets. Buyer Beware!

      I have made four (4) trips to the ******* ****** (JH) tax service & still have question's about my 2023 taxes.***************************, Tax Professional at JH did my ************ California nonresident tax return. After reviewing my tax forms I realize she reported **** distribution as income. I called & made an appointment to get this corrected. Then a 3rd trip to pick up my corrected forms.After receiving my California Tax return in two (2) checks which did not match the forms completed by the Tax Professional.Made another appointment to have it reviewed; on 4/22/24, 2:25PM I called to make an appointment for a review at the main office where all records are held. Left word for them to call. 2;53PM, *********************, returned my call for an appointment on 4/30/24 2:00PM.4/30/24 I arrived at 1:51PM for my appointment. ********************* was not ********* was told by another gentleman he is off on Tuesdays, I told him I didn't make this up & gave him the info for the appointment that ***** made with me; which now does not surprise me with some of the employees at JH!Worst service I have ever received from quoit; Tax Experts.*********************

      Terrible company!!!! Both Riverdale and ******* **** locations!!! I was told by both preparers the cost would be $174.00. After inputting the information, we were charged $338. We after questioning the owner about it, he became very belligerent, even calling me names and threatening to call police.Not reputable, taking advantage of senior citizens who have no understanding of taxes. I could go on and on. Terrible, Terrible Terrible. NEVER USE THEM!!!

      I went in here to file my taxes. I am in ******* **********. I went in there and they told me with a straight face. They were going to charge $600 to file my taxes. They are scamming and lying because the average price to pay to get your taxes done is 250 on the higher end of things. The place is disgusting dirty ran down the people there have a bad attitude and they look like they just got out of the penitentiary. I saw a ***** in there. I do believe they are scamming people and I would not go there and trust them with my Social Security number. Unless you want to risk identity theft, and paying $600 to do something that is not worth $600

      We went to one their offices. I handed the papers to the lady. She told us they did not need any of the papers except W 2's. It started out at six hundred dollars just to put in our W2's. She said we got $170 discount. It still was $430. What a rip off. We will never use them again...Tried contacting someone on how they came up with this amount. My kids taxes were only $120 each. Will be filing complaint with bbb. No one Called us back about how they came up with that amount. There will be more actions taken.

      I did my taxes this year with jackson Hewitt and they charged me $600 , i have 1099 Uber I made $400 , i am foreigner i through thats whats the price but after i asked couple ppl they told me its wayy to much then it should. I will never do my taxes again with them

      I went to do my taxes, at the Milford location. After waiting a few minutes a guy came, smelling so bad of marijuana. It was really bad. I should have just walked away, but gave him the benefit of doubt. He file my taxes incorrectly, I had to pay more than ******. I went to H&R block to speak to a tax professional, he informed me that the taxes were not correct. Now I have to pay the ****** plus pay again to re do them. That's what happens when your taxes get done by a pothead. Live and learn, so unprofessional, will never ever go there again.....

      Jackson Hewitt did our 2021 taxes and made a 100k mistake on our taxes. We had the Worry Free Gaurantee. It has been 5 months and they never gave us a claim number after 3 in person request and emails plus calls. As a US Disabled Air Force Veteran I have never been so dis respected by the biggest blowout. The owner of this franchise should loose their business license in the ****************. My next stop is the ******* *********************** to file fraud charges against those responsible. We are eating thousands of dollars in interest to the *** and they are just laughing at us.Run fast away from Jackson Hewitt if your a veteran, they will cost you thousands by not resolving your tax issues. ****** Bath ******, *******
