On August 15,2024 I **** ******* entered into a service vehicle contract with Tulip automotive. The service contract started August 15, 2024. I have been billed $158.33 on September 18, 2024 and when I needed to use the service contract I called the number listed for the company and the line is disconnected. We sincerely apologize for your experience. Our records indicate that you successfully contacted our customer service phone number on 9/20/24 after enrolling. Upon changing our customer service phone number, we contacted you in October 2024, as well as collected your monthly payment which solidified the activation of your coverage. Your contract booklet states that claims are to be paid by your Administrator and it provides you with the phone number to file claims. Tulip Automotive Protection is the seller of your policy and we do not handle repair claims. We provide customers with any claims the proper phone number to contact for claims. Please contact your Administrator listed in your booklet regarding claims or any use of your coverage. For general inquiries you can contact Tulip Automotive Protection at ************. I paid for a warranty on my car never received any paperwork about anything. So I called and cancelled the policy. Now I've been trying to contact them all there numbers are out of service! I want my money back!Business Response

STATED ORIGINALLY THEY WERE ***************. FOUND THEY WERE THEN ************************ AND THEN THEY TURNED OUT TO BE TULIP AUTO CARE.THE ENTIRE WARRANTY THING WAS A SHAM AND FRAUD. Oct 2023 I took this auto protection plan. I had 3 days too cancell which I did. The plan is to veg it does not say what is cover and what is not. To skectey on whats cover and not. Sence then they will not return the money they said they sent it was return but boy did I get their plan. Then I had to write a letter saying I didnt want it I did.You call they say we will sent it they never do.Two weeks go by call again oh we will send it over, and over.Business Response

9/21/23 No contract verbal agreement over phone. 30 days to cancel it with no questions asked. I called to cancel a week later they said ok then disconnected Called many times and I cant get any answer. Took ****** out of debit card. Then they took ****** out of my account within the month. I purchased service for my car in July 2023. I requested to cancel the service after 30 days for non-payment of repairs on my car. **************** asked me to send a copy of the dealer invoice via a text message. After I sent the text to them, they never reimbursed the money. I spoke with multiple representatives who promised to fix the issue. However, they continued to make false promises. I told them in September that I just needed to cancel the service/contract and they hanged up the phone.Business Response

I purchased an auto warranty on 10/17/22. Downpayment of $195. Payments of $182.33 were made from Nov 2022 -Mar 2023. I went for service on Feb 2023. That's when i was informed that my policy was not valid and no services would be covered. They informed the dealership that they would refund my money and that they could reissue me a policy. i politely declined another policy and they refuse to refund me. I have been calling customer care speaking with ********************* who keeps referring me to alternate numbers and pretending to handle the refund. He always end with "Let us issue you another policy". My response is "No, you didn't pay on the first policy, so why should i allow you to keep taking my money." **** is the ONLY live person that you can talk to. He puts me on hold until i disconnect the phone. This is a SCAM company.Business Response

First let me express that Tulip is the selling company and we are not responsible for any claims involving the underwriting administrator. We did however offer to make it up by offering to issue another policy with a higher level of coverage, which was declined originally due to cost. Any pro-rated refund requests would be required in writing. We will be more than happy to assist you further.
