We hired Two Men and a Truck to move from ** to VA in July 2023. We worked with the Princeton ** franchise (****) which also has an office in ********** ** Our initial experience leading to the move was positive, but we would not recommend this company after our total experience. We chose Two Men and a Truck because they were competitively priced and because they said that theyd move our large/heavy safe with the move. We packed most items ourselves. Two Men and a Truck loaded what we packed and took care of padding and wrapping furniture before loading. What Two Men and a Truck did well includes the following Videoed house contents and provided competitive quote Showed up in ** on the move day with agreed upon crew and trucks Arrived with our stuff in VA and unloaded Answered most emails after the move confirming theyd received the email (but often without an actual answer or resolution)Communicated in a cordial tone indicating they care. What Two Men and a Truck did not do well includes the following Didn't pack the trucks well enough to avoid damage to many pieces of furniture Didn't pack the trucks well enough to fit all of the items that were inventoried by them in the video, resulting in a last minute top stacking of items causing damage Didn't take the safe and have not provided a partial refund due to their lack of ability or preparedness to move it ($1800 more for transport after home sold)Didn't adequately resolve the single claim we made for a badly broken antique. They were unwilling to use a well known restoration house and instead forced using their vendor that we researched and communicated as not qualified to perform the work. The vendor failed to do reasonable work, damaging the piece further and now were out $2000 for restoration. The franchise refuses to help now, saying it is their repair vendor's responsibility. We won't let that vendor touch it again.Escalation is only at the franchise level. Corporate won't get involved.

The company has a policy that if you cancelled your moving services 14 days prior to the moving date, you will not lose your deposit. I cancelled the services over a month before the moving date and they did not return my deposit of $900. I contacted them via phones many times but could never reach them. I also emailed them and of of their general manager always responded that she would forward the email to the accounting department but NOTHING HAPPENED! No refund, no confirmation email, no update. I had to to dispute the credit card transaction with my bank and left them an online review. I am still waiting for the refund from my bank but this business is really bad! I am so grateful that I did not use Two Men and A Truck for my moving.

Good morning! I do sincerely apologize that there was a delay in processing your refund. Unfortunately, the person who processes the refunds was out of the office when the initial request came in and it was missed. However, I can confirm this was processed for you today! Please don't hesitate to reach out to ***************** if you need anything further. A confirmation email was also sent with the refund details!
