    Been paying for fix or replace for my furnace for years and now my furnace needs repair but they refuse to fix or replace it. They want to give me back some of my money but they say they can only give back one year of payments. The repair people said that its a blower problem and then they said that its the heat exchanger. Now they say its not covered. *** paid 50 dollars twice for their service and nothing was done. My toilet and furnace. Both times I was denied satisfaction. They are scamming me. Something needs be done about this to stop these people from scamming people. Will be contacting the attorney general also. They said that they would replace my furnace, and other items, if they cant fix it when I got the service. Will be canceling all their services.

    This company is a joke. Imagine paying for peace of mind in case anything goes wrong and the first time you have to file a claim it's a nightmare. One star is way overselling this company. Our experience:02/25/25 we noticed our toilet bubbling weird when you flush but then it went away. Then the kitchen sink was draining slowly the next day 02/26/25. I went to the basement and opened a pipe and could see water backing up at the main drain. We called AWR thurs 2/27/25 for the first time, paid the $50.00 for a claim and they had someone scheduled for that saturday 3/1/25. About 3p that day I called the contractor info given to me and they said the claim was cancelled. *** kept sending the claim to this same company despite them saying they had no availability. Then they had the nerve to lie and say we ignored calls for a plumber to come. Finally I had enough and called rotor rooter myself which according to one employee here they are in this network. They came out sunday 3/2/25 and again mon 3/3/25 and removed the clog but found the pipe to have collapsed. Finally after filling in AWR they had a plumber come out wed 3/5/25. After I told them ** said the pipe needed dug up serveral times this plumber did the same thing RR did. But he said we could try calling the city to do the work for free since it may be close enough to the public sidewalk. So we did ********* comes out thurs 3/6/25 to check and begins work fri 3/7. Plumbing was fixed at 3/8/25 10p Turns out the main sewer failed, not our pipe. I paid 1650$ to RR for basically nothing. Jasmine from *** escalations **** has been ignoring and not returning our calls. Be wary of this insurance company. They are borderline fraudulent at best. The very first call I made the person answering knew we were having plumbing issues and his priority was to upsell us more coverage for furnace etc. What a joke. This company is truly soulless and should not be in business. I'll happily talk to any press about this.

    Terrible service during the 3 months I was enrolled. I cancelled 1/20/2025 and I continue to be billed by my water company for the enrollment on 1/21/25 and again 2/20/25. The water company states they only bill me what American Resources bills them. American Resources said they're not getting payments from the water company, so I have a balance due with them and I need to take it up with the water company. When I ask for documentation so that I can "take it up with the water company", they refuse to provide it. Foreign call centers every time I call. VERY difficult to have conversations due to the language barrier. They don't fully understand me and I frequently have to ask them to repeat what they said.

    A four star average is way too high for this company. I had a sewer line backup into my basement over two weeks ago. It went back down on its own and is staying down but I called when it happened and paid a $50 deductible and no one ever came. I was contacted by a *** a couple of times but have since been ghosted.I've discovered that these companies don't want to pay the companies their fees that they charge and because of that no one wants to do work for warranty companies. The *** who contacted me ask me if I knew anyone or if I wanted to shop around because he has a credit card ready to go. I told him that the sewage went back down on its own and to get someone ASAP but I never heard back after almost 2 weeks.I am working to get my deductible refunded and my premium that I've been paying for the last 9 months for this sham service since it is useless to me. I've been told that I can get my money refunded after my service cancels on 3/5/25. I have the feeling that I'm going to have to sue for emotional distress.

    I want a refund of the money that I wasted paying for a service that you did not provide to me in my time of need. My deductible of $50 was refunded but I also paid $160 in premiums since starting the plan.

    ****** ***** paid for one year of protection from American Water Resources in Jan.17 2025.The company cashed my check,and as of March 3 2025 and have not received any information on the policy. I called 2 times got some one who could not speak well. She first,and then He second said they will E-mail our information to us the same day of the call. That has not happen to date. ****** ***** believes this company is a scam. 0 stares is to high of a score.

    Despite paying for both water line and sewer line coverage, they continue to send me markeing materials saying I only have coverage for the water line not for sewer and telling me to buy more coverage. I have contacted them twice to stop this, and over the phone they confirm I pay for both services and they say they'll stop the marketing mail but they do not. The mail is a waste of my time because it says things like "second notice" on the envelope, worrying me into opening it and spending time on it and then having to call in about my coverage. They have no respect for my time. Yet BBB says they are rated A- and I know people who have had to pay for what this coverage is supposed to cover so I do want the insurance.

    Forget about contacting them about anything. I called to inquire about water issues in order to be able to ask questions and the like. Not only will the automated system provide enough reason to anger someone, they claimed that the wait time for a representative at over five minutes. Technically correct but never mentioned how much longer over the five minutes. Now at the 40 minute mark. **** Thank God they do not run emergency service like EMS, fire or law enforcement.

    I spent over 30 minutes on the phone trying to cancel my policy. Thats ridiculous. I have to call a contractor to get them to come out to fix the problem before I can call a plumber. I want to cancel my policy, but I cant seem to get it done

    This company is the worst company I had to deal with. To file a claim i had to give the same information over 4 times to find me in the system even though I gave them the account no. I had an emergency plumbing situation and there were no plumbers available to service the problem. I had to find my own plumbling company and now they refuse to pay.
