I recently switched to AWR, and last week had to file a claim with them for the first time. What a huge disappointment at the lack of any follow up, and the lack of progress made on my claim. I have been told there is no one available that can come out to address my issue, told my claim has been escalated to their dispatch **** for priority handling. I am very disappointed and worried about their ability to meet my other home needs/repairs.

My review would be a minus 0, ************ is a scam, We paid for a year, ************ repair was needed, I was told the water line wasn't covered, In fact, there was an account number, But the company couldn't locate it.I had to give them all the information and then was told, No. ************ solicitations by US MAIL is a scam.

We have asked this company repeatedly to stop sending us junk US postal mail, they refuse! Every single time we call them they tell us they have taken us off their mailing list only to get mail from them months later in my dead mother's name who died over 2 years ago. They will not let my mother rest in peace, and they will not stop harassing our family! This last time we called them they told us that the City of ******************************* department were the ones sending these, I just called the *************************************** department, they've never heard of this company nor do they do any business with them whatsoever, they flat out lied! This company is awful, they harass people to no end, we are tired of being harassed, we are forwarding this to our Missouri State ************************* for possible class action prosecution for harassment, we've had enough!

This is a major scam.! they have no problem taking your money but when you call about problems they want to put someone who dont know English very well and they treat you like your dumb or hang up the phone in your face and when you call back the line is busy or they give you a new person and you have to do that same long process over again it is so stressful to have to keep repeating yourself and them not hearing you what your saying. I got on the phone with them around 12:20 and didnt get off the phone w them til after 4:30 this is unacceptable to have to go through this and them not caring enough to help you or get someone on the phone who wants to help you, they denied my claim because the plumber said that he didnt see a problem but he told my daughter on the phone that he is not a d*** plumber and that he was not going to drive 4-5 hrs then told the company that he came out and said no one was home but he lied because I gave cameras all over the house and I didnt see him on them and Im always home. I do not recommend you contract with this people they are a scam !!!!!

The WORST insurance service. Avoid at all costs. They are terrible with scheduling, they do not have communication with their vendors. I called to schedule a service for a plumbing emergency, which was a leak cause by a plumber that they sent....I didnt even get a call back until the following Tuesday. This was after multiple attempt from me to schedule with both the plumber and insurance. The call center agent do not have any answers and there are no supervisors to speak to. They just transfer you and leave you on hold so that you hang up. The only reason I am leaving one start is because they wont let me leave zero.

American Water Resources increased their fees by 60%. I called them about it and they switched me to a rep in the *********** and then I called locally and they switched me to a rep with Spanish accent that I couldn't understand. He told me that it was inflation. It was a drastic increase for me. I told them to cut my service and told him I would report them to the BBB and Mo ************************** Then he offered me a lower rate for my services from $23.99 to $14.99. That was very quick to me. If they are doing this to me, then what are they doing to other people. What is this?

i purchased the protection coverage for the water septic lines,as well as plumbing and inside and outside electrical problems.from american water resources.I live near the ocean and after a bad wind storm, noticed that the weather head looked like it had partial dislodged I immediately contacted the protection company and they said that they would contact and have a representative from an electric company call and set up an appt Fast forward someone came out from ************** did not get on a ladder to examine the weather head, approximately ****************************************************************************************************************** an estimate of what it would cost to repair, and I would be responsible.I called back the protection company spoke with another rep ******** and explained to him that how can they make this determination without physically going on a ladder to see it up closely. I was told by the ******* they would send a different electric company to better examine it. He gave me a case number ******* When I didnt get a call, I called again and a representative named *** said that they were not sending anyone else that the decision was final.I am flabbergasted that this company is a total SCAM and they have companies they work with that try to SCAM people as well. I will report them to the water company and also will get another opinion, which they said they would do, and if that person tells me what I think happened I will bring this company to small claims court.I also took photos of this problem.I

This is definitely a scam. When I filed claim with this company they said they had no one under contract to service my AC unit and would look for someone that would contract with them. They immediately deducted a $50 service fee. Four weeks and no call from anyone to repair. Temperature at the time was 103 with a heat index of 113. Told them we were both in our 80s and needed help right away. Four weeks, still no word of a repair. My son called and had repairman out in 30 minutes. Called and canceled and only ask for the service charge be refunded. Still no refund and they still continued taking premium from my debit card. Went to my bank and stopped payment on any more deductions from this company. Also, reported to BBB and now doing this complaint about this company being a scam. Also, said they were endorsed by my local water company. After checking on this and reporting, they said they DO NOT ENDORSE this company. No matter what you read on their responses on complaints, note how long and if a solution was ever reached. Also, note they will not let you speak with another person except the person that I initially answers. Also, the repair from the repairman I called was $290. I know I will never get this money back from American Water Resources.
