Hi I used Castle Window for my home. I am so pleased with them. *** **** crew was great. They were on time and professional. The crew got to work right away laying down plastic to cover the floor and furniture. They also vacuum up when they were done. I ordered a metal door back in July.Twice Castle Windows and Doors postponed the delivery and installation of my metal door.First was due to rain and second was due to truck broke down a few days in before my delivery date.They refuse to refund me due to it's in the contact yet, there is nothing about postponing my delivery due to rain and no truck.Review from Ben K

We had a Castle Window and Door representative come out back on 07/17/2023 estimate. We had signed a contract for a replacement front door, storm door, and two side lights. Everything was great until the first ********* came out. Everything that could be done wrong install a door, they did. The door was missing insulation around the whole door frame, the front door and side lights and front door were not hung square (this would cause the door to be almost impossible to lock in some weather), the back of the door had a dent from an ********* not paying attention while installing trim. 2nd visit, **** from Castle came out to look at the door, hardware, and the door gap. He also installed a peephole in the door while we waited for the replacement.3rd visit, *********s removed all the side lights and door. They replace the door, but door was not hung square again.4th visit, *********s removed all the side lights and door again and finally got the door installed square. At this point, the door still had no peephole installed.5th visit, ********* came out to install peep sight into door and wound up scratching the back of the door and do a horrible job of touching up the door.6th visit, repairman install missing hardware and attempt to fix the bad touch up from ********* 7th visit, repairman came out to touch up the sand **** on the back of the door now making it worse than it has ******* this point we have had about seven *********s/representatives/repairmen come out to repair and/or replace parts that were installed by their company. The second door now looks worse than it has been since being installed. I have been told about how everything has a lifetime guaranty, but it doesnt matter if they cant get the door installed correctly the first, second, or even third time.After spending $12k and time we has to take off of work, for the door, side lights, and storm door. All I want at this rate is a new door and to never deal with this company again.Review from Ed P

We obtained three quotes with widely varying prices, decided on Castle Windows and signed a contract on April 19, 2023. On installation day, (June 6-7, 2023) it was obvious that the removal process was causing significant damage and misalignment to the interior jamb extensions and trim. As work progressed, I became concerned with the methods used and how the new windows would be sealed against exposure to the elements, it appeared that there was no positive moisture (rain) barrier along the sides. The installers assured me that they wouldnt leak. After installation was completed, I filled out a Quality Control Report where I noted my reservations about how the exterior trim was completed and I was not convinced that there would not be leaking issues, also noted the damage done to the interior trim.I placed a call to Castle Windows immediately after the installation sharing my frustrations about: A. the reckless manner in which the windows were removed and the damage done B. my lack of confidence that there wouldnt be any leaking issues C. that there was one damaged new sash and one screen with a rip in it. A follow-up visit was scheduled for about two weeks later. After the visit and a promise to check into it we didnt hear from them. Several months later we called, they had no record of our concerns, we would have to schedule another visit.After the installation, it took only a few rains to observe water leaks on two windowsills and down the inside of one wall, these issues continue today, more than a year later. In the meantime, the insulation on the outside of our house is getting wet with each rain and mold is growing. After a full year and many attempts to at least have a response to our concerns, it has become evident that we will have to find another way to fix the issues. Our house will never be the same. A lifetime warranty is of no value if the company does not even fix the problems with installation. We would never recommend Castle Windows.Review from Michael S

We have been satisfied overall. ***** gave us a great presentation and it was seamless to get a quote and schedule the job. Someone came to measure the windows about a week after (apologize I forgot his name). He was very respectful and informative. The day of install came and a one-man crew showed up in cargo shorts and a cut off t shirt; no company branding on his clothing or truck. We were given a window arrival time of 9:00-11:00 and he arrived at 8:40. I mentioned he was early and he said, "I'm not that early" with an attitude. I just assume contractors will be late because they usually are. Due to restrictive parking on that day, there wasn't somewhere to park his pickup and trailer together and he refused to park them separately on the same block. I got on the phone with the company and we were able to reschedule for the next day. Thankfully, the ***** Crew (******** and ****) came the next day. ******** and **** were AMAZING! They got right to work and were very informative as the project was completed especially when they ran into an issue with one of the window openings needing new wood due to rot. If you decide to go with Castle Windows for new windows, request ******** and ******************* as your installers. Their work ethic and attention to detail is impressive. I would give a 5-star review but knocked it down to 4-stars due to the issue we had on the initial install day.Review from Marianne B

Wish I could give zero stars. I have been trying to have one sash repaired for the past 4 months. In ********* ******* was canceled because the technician had a medical emergency which turned out to be pink eye. Not my idea of an emergency. In January, the technician diagnosed the problem but did not have the tools necessary to fix it. On March 21, the technician never bothered to show up. Suddenly taken ill. On March 30, I called to confirm my appointment for later that afternoon between three and five. I reminded the ******* department that although I own this home, I do not live there and travel two hours to get to that location. Appointment confirmed. Once again, the technician was a no show. This time, I was informed that the technician had to attend a funeral. Apparently, a last minute funeral occurred between my confirmation phone call and my appointment. Total lack of communication, extremely poor customer ******* and ignorance of customer expectations/needs.Review from Craig U

This was my best experience with a home renovation company. Castle is nothing but professional from top to bottom. Start to finish the process was surprisingly fast. when calling the company you reach a live person who listens and gets you to the correct people to keep the process moving forward. Installers went above and beyond to correct issues caused from previous installation. I would recommend to anyone. the product and service were worth the cost.Review from Lance D

I am leaving 5 STARS for Castle just based on the presentation and sale of precisely what we needed! Castle's representative, *******, was kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Most importantly - he listened! He never pressured us to buy or rush us in our consideration. He thoroughly went through the history and prominence of Castle, and gave us a great side-by-side comparison with the other industry leaders. There really was no comparison when it came down to experience, product quality, reputation and the longstanding family-ownership which we appreciate. I have lived paycheck to paycheck for 53 years and ******* helped work out an easy payment schedule to not only replace the window I needed, but add a brand new one AND install a storm door. This company will not stop calling me. I have asked multiple times over the years, even blocking their number and they continue to call me. The best is the last time they called me I said to remove me from their call list, again, and they proceeded to tell me about their "special offer". Only give you name to this company if you want to be constantly harassed.Review from Lauren E

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. Our windows are actively leaking and causing damage to our trim and dry wall. They are claiming its not cover by the warranty which the warranty states it is. We ask for an appt for repair to the windows which we would pay for. The appt day and time comes and they dont show up. The supervisor states they wouldve needed payment before to even come and they arent coming today. Weve had this appt for 2 weeks so why wouldnt they call and ask for payment if thats the case? Now theyre saying they cant do it in the rain. Shouldnt they call before the appt to reschedule? No call or anything. And all they say is sorry about that. What does it take to have a company take care of their customers?? We have over 15 windows on our house with this company so you think they would treat us with some respect and urgency. **** never recommend this company and sick to our stomachs that we are treated this way.
