Unscrupulous and deceptive, a complete scam. I was approached just after returning from work today by a very friendly, amiable, smooth-talking young man named ****** who intimated that he was here on a follow-up from PPL (electric supplier) regarding a rate discrepancy that he was here to fix. What he was actually there to do was to get me to sign a contract with IDT Energy under false pretenses. At no point in our conversation did he say he was from IDT Energy or that he wanted me to enter into a contract with any energy supplier. All he wanted to do was fix the rate on my account with PPL. Lies! Once he left, I saw that the confirmation text I had received was in fact a link to sign a contract, which he was very careful to zoom in on so that I could see nothing but the signature boxnot the actual contract beyond it. He filled out everything, suckering me into "signing" a contract that I never saw, did not know about, and did not agree to. IDT Energy is a fraud company engaging in deceptive business practices and ought to be shut down.

Upon receipt of Ms. ******* Better Business Bureau (BBB) review, IDT Energy added Ms. ******* information to their internal no solicitation lists in an effort to prevent any future direct solicitation from IDT Energy. IDT Energy then reviewed Ms. ******* information and found that the enrollment with IDT Energy was cancelled before it processed and will not receive supply service from IDT Energy. IDT Energy also launched an investigation into Ms. ******* allegations against the sales agent and the proper actions were taken to address these concerns. IDT Energy also noticed that, subsequent to this review being submitted, **************** contacted IDT Energy ***************** was informed that she would not receive service and did not require any additional assistance. Please be advised that IDT Energy appreciates all consumer feedback regarding interactions with their marketing representatives and promptly investigates any allegations brought to our attention. IDT Energy does not tolerate actions that go against the sales policies and procedures set by IDT Energy management and takes corrective action to resolve complaints when necessary.
