My house was sold over 2 years ago. I closed all of my accounts including the Worry Free accounts. I received a letter from PSE&G stating that the accounts were closed. Recently I started receiving notifications that there were charges on my account. I reached out via email and phone and after a long period of back and forth they said that "No one called us" and they would close the account today but I would have to pay the amount due. This was very upsetting and disappointing as I did my due diligence to ensure that all of the accounts were closed. Their internal error is simply not my problem.

Today makes it 66 days since **** still hasnt refunded me my $200. I have called them 50 times and was told 9 times that a supervisor is supposed to call me back. Not once a supervisor has contacted or assisted me in completing the refund process. Im disgusted in the treatment Ive experienced. Ive called and spoken to people and each person is dismissive or transfers me till I give up. Per their company policy a customer is entitled to their money if their account is closed or they overpaid. They refuse to give me my money and they will give you the run around till the account is suspended. Do yourself a favor, go to company that follows their own policy, has better customer **********************, doesnt overcharge, will refund the money you overpaid and will provide solutions oppose to avoiding you. $200 may be little to the company but its a lot for me. Its grocery money, medical copayment, my emergency fund or even money for the future electric and heating bill. ***** *******, ****** J. *****, ****** L. *****, *** C. ********, ***** *. Park focus on implementing customer ********************** in regards of customer **********************. No one I spoke to know how to refund money, provide alternative solutions or follow-up. So in each phone call, I had to start all over and yet still the issue hasnt been resolved. That $200 may be chunk change for everyone that I just named, but its a lot for commoners.

I was on the plan payment. Missed one for February but was paying every month an wanted to catch up and make a 2nd payment but instead they turned it off and ********** department supervisor made me pay $1000 and did not let me to catch on. Worst company because there is no other to go to and when they shot it of you can not exist so they are taking advantage of people and their situation. I have called several times and they would not budge. I've asked previous day to get a call from the manager and he never called me back. On top of it they charged me disconnection charges. They had never informed me about disconnection. I even stooped down to beg but the supervisor would not go down. I don't understand why this government allows for one company taking the market. These people are horrible.

I moved to a different state around the new year. Being the responsible person I am- I called PSE&G and cancelled my account the day after I moved to make sure I still had electricity for packing. The lady on the phone with PSE&G said there was no problem and asked me for me new address to send my final bill to just in case the auto payments I had on did not go through. I never received the bill and then 4 months later I got an email from a collections agency saying that PSE&G has been trying to collect money from me. I had not received one email, phone call, or bill in the mail from PSE&G since my move. The only thing that changed was my physical address- all of my other contact information that the company had on me was the same- I am very easy to get ahold of. As soon as I received the notice I called and talked to a lady today who didn't care, didn't apologize for the inconvenience they caused me because their one employee was too lazy to write down my address and actually send the bill to me. She demanded I pay what I owe on the phone and that auto payments get automatically turned off when you cancel your account. Also, once your account is cancelled you can no longer pay bills online. This company is all about taking your money and not actually doing their job that they are paid for despite the customer doing everything they are supposed to and following all the rules. If the customer is required to follow certain rules, why is the company exempt from this? This review will not change anything since PSE&G basically has a monopoly in **. If you have an option, get solar panels and make enough energy to charge them and make them pay for once.

Absolutely disgusted with how PSE&G handling billing. They sent it to the collection without notifying us that there was an outstanding balance. It was automated payments before, so did not know about the balance after the tenant left. No attempts to contact. There were no issues like that for 20+ years.

PSE&G came and turned off our service and the thing is that there is two issues one there is little kids in the house as well as a very sick man here , thats literally I want to call it a frequent flyer, hes in the ************* than hes home , I was in the hospital when they shut his service off and has since been released, but the issue is that no food can be prepared for him because theres no cooking gas and its freezing inside the apartment, hes on aCpap machine and use it because theres no power , now he moved here in July and have been very sickly and never had the to switch the service over to my name because of me going in and out of the hospital and now I cannot use my machine and its freezing inside of the apartment. I have no gas no electric I tried to do the switch online because I just got out the hospital and they wouldnt allow it. At this point, I dont know what to do. Were sitting inside of here it is freezing with no heat. Please help in any way you can.

I had worryfree from Pseg since 2022. Today I scheduled an appointment for today and the technician came to my house figured out the problem and fixed the issue within one hour. I had furnace issues. He explained exactly what occurred that caused the issue. I think the worryfree program/service is defined worth it. I did not have to pay anything at the appointment (yes I know I pay monthly for the service but its not a lot) . Which is always great.
