Predatory Booting of Vehicle: The incident happened on Friday, 5/3/24 @ the ****** ***** **** ******* ** ***** ***** *** ** ******* I parked in the mall parking lot and did leave the lot. There was a car parked next to me and when I returned the same car was there and the parking enforcer was sitting in the passenger side of the same car, stepped out and up to me to say I parked illegally, my car was booted, and demanded $250 in cash to remove the boot. Looking around I notice a small almost undetectable sign (Why not put a large, clearly visible sign up). I had no cash on me and was directed to the ATM in a laundromat with lots of fees attached. While resolving my issue, I saw another unsuspecting person who was also being shaken down for cash. I called the business/owner, R.T.B. and they said the cost of the boot depends on the make of the car. What??? I decided that I should report this SCAM because I don’t want more people to fall prey to this. This is a PREDATORY business that stalks unsuspecting people - they literally “lie in wait” in a car to financially exploit people who park there unknowingly …waiting for the opportunity to pounce on them. This business gets an F grade. I would like the Newark Police yo get involved and do a sting operation on these CROOKS. I would like a refund from these crooks. Thank you.

4/23/24, Tuesday 12:00 pm University Plaza Newark NJ A local business with parking passes for said plaza offered us one due to the disability of the main passenger receiving the services of the local Physical Therapy office. The office allowed us to utilize the parking pass for the plaza. Due to some miscommunications with the Physical Therapy office and the fake, private parking authority the nasty, rude, unprofessional person (named Tracy) who administered the boot began screaming and yelling and verbally assaulting us. The boot was already put on while she is yelling at us and she was being extremely unhelpful, uncooperative, and mean. We were entirely and completely in the right to park there, had the pass, and the permission of a local business who also has permission to use the lot. The booting business should be illegal in NJ. WE HAVE POLICE TO DOLE OUT PARKING TICKETS THANK YOU

This company is a scam and they prey on people who unknowingly park their car in a lot policed by these vultures The sign stating that the parking is enforced is very small and hidden so its difficult to see. I stepped away from the car for a few minutes and when I came back it had a boot on it already. They said it cost ****** to take off and I obliged because they threatened to have it towed. This business is predatory and Im pretty sure they are conducting illegal practices and they are in cahoots with the variety of street pharmacists working the parking lot. Their LLC should be revoked for all these complaints and their F rating.

I parked my car in a parking space provided by the strip mall for the stores, went into a store to purchase lottery tickets located on the property then walked to the hotdog stand on the corner came back. When I came back there was a boot on my car and was charged $250 cash to have it removed. I was gone for less than 5 minutes. They watched me leave and gave me no warnings. Even though they saw me go into a store on the property where they are enforcing parking. Then the person in charge had a man with a gun threatening me. When I asked them to call the police he left the scene in a red pickup truck. These people that operate this business are predators and bullies. And they should be punished for their business practices at the location on Court street. They operate like a gang do to the number of people that they approach you with about having the boot removed from your car and they only want cash.

My toddler has been admitted in ***** hospital after having emergency surgery. After being there all night I finally went home to shower take my other children to school and rush back to the hospital. on my way backto the hospital I realized I havent ate in the past 24 hrs so I stopped at **** a restaurant across from hospital before I went to my sons bedside. I prefer to go and walked across to the hospital from there bc I figured the hospital didnt have parking as usual. Upon arrival I received a call from the rehabilitation hospital that my son will be admitted to after hes discharged and they asked if I can come down (a hour away from ******) to view the facility so I didnt stay long and left out to go take a tour of rehab facility only to find out a private company booted my car in front of ****. I explained the situation upon the security guards arrival and he demanded I had to pay 200$ cash only which I did not have and he told me there was an atm on the the street. There are no signs that states there are people in cars stalking you to boot your vehicle at all. The two men drive a black jeep patriot he likes to park by the rite aid backed in facing street and the other in a tall silver **** f150. Please be aware of these stalkers and crooks

5/18/22 Had to call the cops on these lowlife! The lot lady, who went by ****** insisted it didnt matter that I showed her the ************* receipt because I walked 20 feet off the lot. I chose not to argue and pay, then she insisted it was $350 when it is clearly posted as $200. I called Newark PD, when they showed up ****** said oh I made a mistake, $250. The officer asked her what the $50 was for and she responded to cancel the tow truck. Wasnt even worth my time to argue that I literally tried to pay her in the first place BEFORE she allegedly called the tow truck.
