Brighter's business practices are unsavory and include purposefully overcharging for services, lack of communication about procedures, and lying about insurance. Currently, they refuse to send records that they legally must provide to us as we have filled out release forms, had out regular dentist call, insurance has called, etc. In addition to records for my wife, they owe us a large credit to be paid back via check which has seen zero movement. They are well aware of what is needed, both records and reimbursement wise, and often put me on long holds to get rid of me or make up things like they can't find the release formInitial Complaint

Tooth extraction took place on 2/7/2024 at which time I was told to pay my co-pay amount. Receptionist repeatedly told me that was my ONLY co-pay, after insurance. One month or two months later I received a bill for more money, $312. I called Brighter Dental and told them they are not allowed to charge me more than I was originally promised. This is sneaky, to charge more money after the fact. This is not allowed and that I would report them.
