    Date of Complaint: 12/15/2023 Dealership:Nutley Auto ****** Washington Ave Nutley, ********** *************************-Owner ********************* *********************************** I am writing today for your assistance. I purchased a car, 2015 *** ******** at this location 08/22/2022. On 07/16/2023 the car was in an accident (No Fault-driven by my son who is on the policy) and declared a total loss by my insurance company. The balance of the loan was paid. There was a small *** balance/difference approximately $2,000. The **** *** Insurance I was sold from the dealership is giving me the run around and did not pay off the remaining owed even though I submitted the documents requested. I decided to pay the balance myself and informed ****. The **** representative, ********************, instructed me to contact the dealership for cancelation.I have repeatedly contacted the dealership only to watch my messages being ignored. Absolutely no response.I emailed:*****************-Sales and Leasing *************************-Owner. No one at Nutley Auto *** had the professional courtesy to respond to my request to cancel the *** Insurance or reach out to me for further assistance. Extremely unprofessional. Meanwhile **** continue to collect money from the monthly payment sent to the car loan institution without providing the service that I paid for.All I am asking is for Nutley Auto *** to cancel the **** *** Insurance contract and receive an accommodation/reimbursement for money paid since July 2023.Thank you for your assistance,*********************

    On April 26,2024 I went to this dealership. I had surgery a week prior to going there so my arm is in a sling. I had got a diagnostic done on my car and they advised me that it was my tie rods needed to be fixed. I dropped it off and when I came back and the owner *************************** advised me that my they fixed the tie rods but the problem with my car wasnt fixed. She told me I was going to have to pay for another diagnostic and when that was done she told me all the work that needed to be done and gave me a price. I didnt want to leave my car there I wanted to shop around for better prices. **** the owner didnt like that when I came back to get my car her employee ************************* handed me paper work to just pay for the tie rods and **** snatched it out my hand stating if I dont sign this paperwork I wasnt getting my car I told her Ill pay but Im not signing anything she then snatched my wallet and had her employee ******* block the door. I feared for my life I was by myself they took my personal items and blocked me in. I feel like I was racially profiled I was calm I didnt cause no issues I just wanted to pay and leave but this company had other plans for me. And on top of the harassment they called the police on me for no reason. Im taking this to court because being by myself and getting assaulted in an establishment is unacceptable. She also falsified her police report.
