The absolute worst delivery company *** ever come on contact with. Im on my fourth dresser trying to get delivered. Each one has arrived incredibly damaged. The first delivery truck sped through my 25mph neighborhood, blowing through two stop signs (I was behind the truck) - kids are everywhere in this neighborhood. Dressers have come with cracked corners, broken legs and drawers. Suppose to be white glove service. Dresser was hardly packed into the box (nothing but half an inch of Styrofoam around it). After damaging the first couch, they delivered one delivering the replacement couch. They did not take the old couch as was expected per the originating company and their own delivery company. The driver left the property went to the driveway to make a phone call to call his warehouse and drove away without speaking to me again.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

Spoke to 5+ customer service agents who all gave me different information on where my sofa delivery was and when it would arrive. My delivery was reschedule three times, and I still have zero clarity on where my sofa is and when it will arrive. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they put me on hold for over an hour. NEVER work with metropolitan warehouse delivery service if you can help it, this has been the worst customer experience ever.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

I agreed to meet in a window of 11-2pm. I asked them to give me a 30 minute call before they arrive as its a new house and I would not be on site. I did not receive a call until they stated they waited already 15 minutes at the location at 11:14am. I saw the missed call and message at 11:32 and called them. They said it was protocol to leave after 15 minutes. I told them they were supposed to give me a thirty minute call so I could make it on site but luckily I was 5 minutes away. I asked if they could turn around. My small town would have them only a u turn away from being at my home in 15 minutes. They refused and said they were leaving. I reminded them of the lack of communication on their part and that turning around would only take 25 minutes and delivery another day would take hours to return to my town. He still refused. I said my window was until 2 and you left 15 minutes after arrival and I received no call until you were leaving. They still refused. Now I have to wait two maybe three more weeks for the next arrival for my $1500+ order! I didnt pay hundreds of dollars in shipping to be treated this way. I ordered my furniture through **************** which is great. This delivery service has been such a horrible experience and tempts me to quit ordering through anyone who uses their delivery services again. They should refund my shipping costs for such horrible treatment as the extra hours they put in to redeliver was merely for their own selfish reasons to milk their boss for driving hours and pay. I will not sign for my order until all is inspected. As heartless and as careless as they were with me, I would imagine they are with my purchased furniture, it was my furniture and my paid for shipping service they drove away with all for their own selfish gain.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

This is the worst delivery company anyone can deal with! Super unprofessional & extremely rude! This company changed the delivery dates three times & one of the orders was cancelled last minute without consulting with me after more than three weeks waiting! The worst part is that the other item which was a huge box of outdoor ****** loveseat was delivered by a super rude delivery person with his companion who wanted to leave it by the door, I asked them kindly to take it to my backyard because this is the norm especially its an enormous ******** a woman by myself, but the main delivery guy was super rude said No thats not of his business! I even offered him $50 to take it to the backyard that is very few steps away but he kept refusing! I asked him to talk to his ************** both himself & the manager were talking Mexican which I dont understand then the manager apologized that the driver must leave & they cannot help! This was the worst experience I ever had in my life! I purchased several furniture items in my life , I never came across such a very unprofessional & frustrating experience like this!! Hello *****,We are in receipt of your submitted complaint, and we want to sincerely apologize for the distress and inconvenience caused by any of our contractor's behavior during delivery service.Per our records, you were expecting 2 orders to be delivered; at the moment that you called us to schedule one of them, the second order was still in transit to our ******* (**********) facility and couldn't be added - we're unable to add a package that hasn't been received yet. - Regarding the service level, despite we sympathize with you, we as the carrier depend on the vendor's approval to change any service level and they confirmed they registered your delivery as Threshold not White Glove. Also, they have registered your second pending delivery as Doorstep, that type of service doesn't require a signature, and we are authorized to leave your packages outside your door.Please rest assured that your complaint for rude behavior has been escalated, and our warehouse management team, is currently investigating the issue. While we won't be able to share the outcome of this internal investigation, we want to assure you that the situation is being dealt with appropriately.Once again, we truly value your business and are committed to prevent these types of situations in the future. Very poor communication and customer service standards. After waiting over a month for delivery, I was unable to coordinate with anyone to schedule the delivery because it is a, remote area. I was initially told I would not be able to schedule delivery and there was no estimated delivery date or expected timeline for my delivery until it was received in the final warehouse despite the product being in the possession of the delivery company. When the item made it to the final warehouse and I had not yet been contacted, I reached out and was told the delivery could not be scheduled but I would be contacted at a later time for this to be scheduled for the week of the 11th, which was two more weeks out. When I still did not receive a call by the next week, I called again and was told the week of the 18th, though a delivery could not yet be scheduled. I asked repeatedly to be contacted by someone who could give more information, but I was never contacted by anyone from metropolitan until this issue was escalated numerous times over several weeks and I was eventually told the Vice President of customer service, ******* ******, would call me. I was under the impression that she was going to call me right away. After waiting 10 minutes while also trying to work full time, I called back and was on hold for more than 20 minutes before I was told she would be calling me soon. Two hours later I still had not heard from her and again called, I was told at that time that she would be calling me within 30 minutes. I made sure to be available. After more than an hour of waiting, she finally called, though I was in the middle of work and asked if she would mind to hold. After ************************************************************************************************ When I text back that I had waited quite a bit longer than 10 minutes, she sent a very rude text message. I have two orders from the same company that shipped at the same time. One order contains two barstools and one order contains one barstool. Metropolitan Warehouse delivered the two barstool order on 2/12 after weeks of scheduling and rescheduling but only delivered ONE of the barstools. Told me they only received one even though all of the packing informations shows box size and weight for two barstools. Then the second order for one barstool was scheduled to be delivered the next week but they cancelled my delivery saying they never received the barstool from ***** Decor, even though ***** Decor and all of the detailed tracking shows that they receive the barstool in early January. They are failing to deliver two barstools of ours that they clearly have in their possession. Its how been two months and my husband is going to move forward with filing with a small claim action as they have been zero assistance.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp
